Hi my tattle loves. So, after posting that we were taking a break a few days ago until my fertility referral, and throwing ourselves into a house move/putting the house on the market, I thought ‘hey, I’d better just check if I’m pregnant...lol that would really be a spanner in the works’ well it’s only bloody positive! I am in shock atm and we have had to rejiggle all our plans but we will make it work 💕
Amazing news, congratulations 😍 xx

What’s everyone opinion on the vaccine whilst ttc?
Will you have it? I’m not sure. Been trying for 2.5 years and finally have an appt for a HyCoSy next month

My period came back 5 weeks after my emergency surgery for my miscarriage. I conceived again 3 months later. Not saying this to rub anyone’s nose in it (I’d struggled with infertility for years prior to this) but to give hope to anyone who has recently suffered a loss xxx
similar happened to me. Miscarriage in March, and conceived by august.

thanks grumpy, I’ll def give it a go. yeah all my apps etc say I will start ovulating soon but obvs they think day 1 of my withdrawal bleed was CD1 when it’s not technically 😩

Even if they just confirm I haven’t ovulated yet when the app is predicting, I think that’s better than me wondering for potentially weeks 😬 also then I won’t know if my period isn’t here because i don’t have a cycle yet or because I’m pregnant - not only do I not wanna get my hopes up but did not realise pregnancy tests are so expensive 😅
I mean I def counted my withdrawal bleed as CD1 (though not sure if you needed to) and then I had about a 30 day cycle (unsure if I ovulated on that one) after that bleed which was way, way lighter than any before, I started using OPK’s on about CD9, and had a peak evening CD13.
It is handy to give yourself a baseline and figure out your body, they do say after you come off the pill you are supposed to be fertile as your body gears up after being suppressed so I’ve got my fingers crossed for you!

My withdrawal bleed ended Sunday and now I’m just very impatient about being in limbo, just no idea when I will get a cycle and not sure what to do as who knows when I will start ovulating - well aware it could be months 🙁 don’t want to get my hopes up if there’s no chance at the moment so I have decided to buy some opks just so I can hopefully track when I start ovulating again.

did any of you guys do that before you got your first period after stopping birth control?
I came off the pill in December, had my withdrawal bleed approx 4 weeks later and then started using OPKs and BBT tracking straight away to try and gauge where I was at. I found it really helpful x

I’ve never had this but I would continue to count it as the same cycle, and perhaps call the GP. I think I’ve heard that they’ve been able to bring a period on so to speak so you can start again. I would deffo call though, just so it can a) be noted on your notes and b) just sound some advice from the GP 💞
I've contacted my gp to see if I can persuade them to see me. My gps don't just let you book appointments anymore you have to fill in an online form to see if you deserve one first 🤣
I contacted them before about worries to do with my fertility but was told by my gp by email as I already have a child they wont see me. I was dismissed completley which is disappointing, hopefully they won't do that again and I can get some answers

Hi guys, so I’ve had a bit of a frustrating morning and wondering if anyone could help. I have been having lots of symptoms - bloat, dry mouth, extreme tiredness, nausea. I’m still a few days (7 lol - my cycle is long) away from AF and thought I’d take a test just to see even though v early. I took one of the tesco cheapy ones, immediately it was negative but I went upstairs about half an hour later and it had a faint positive (?!) but I know they can be a bit funny so got a clear blue 6 days before period one, again, negative BUT an hour later has shown a clear but still faint positive. I took 2 of these at the same time to double check, one is negative and one is positive. Could this be evap lines?! Doing my head in! Has anyone else had this?! I’ve never had any problems with evap lines before when a definite negative (and I know they say to discard the test after 10 mins or whatever but it’s still driving me mad 😂) the other 2 I’ve taken are completely blank.

Anyone else realise they’ve not got a scooby about their body when trying to get pregnant 😂😂😂

My cycle is all over the places since coming off the pill in October. Dr says potential PCOS (my periods were fine before I came off the pill).

Haven’t a clue when I ovulate. My body feels the same all month long apart from spots a few days pre AF.

men have it easy 😂🥴
I came off in October too. What are your cycles like? I’ve been using the clear blue ovulation tests to give me an idea of when I actually ovulate and it’s made me realise there are symptoms I didn’t even realise beforehand - sore boobs are the main one. I have now ordered some of the cheaper OPKs now I have better understanding. It’s a complete minefield 🤯

When does everyone take the Ovulation tests? I’ve been taking mine in the morning and been getting highs but no “peak”. Last night I was reading the leaflet and it turns out they recommend no fluids for 2hrs before and in the middle of the afternoon. Fucks sake, why?

lots of tears yesterday as I feel I’m not releasing any eggs but just having my period as I’m only getting highs of LH around 44. Is that okay? 🥺

Hi! I’ve been a lurker for a while, we are ttc number 2.
I had been trying to get my coil removed since September 2019, needed an operation in the end to get it out, this was in December. We’ve been trying since and no luck.

I feel so down about it today, my first was so easy & naively I thought it would be the same this time!
Hey! I had the coil and I’m the same!?

Cycles have been anything 32-40 days the last few months. Last month my period arrived after 14 days and only lasted 3. And advice anyone? No idea what that was and why. I’ve never had one that short.

Hi everyone,

looking for some advice and reassurance! I have tested with a frer this morning and got a very light positive. I’m not due on AF until Monday however I only tested because I have been feeling sick and vomited yesterday which isn’t like me. My concern is should my like not be much darker as I’m only 4 days away from AF or could I have ovulated later than I thought? My cycle is around 30-32 days. I’m so worried as I had a miscarriage January 😥

advice would be appreciated! thanks so much baby dust too all ❤
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. My understanding is that your pregnancy hormones get stronger the later your period, so maybe test again in a couple of days as you have tested fairly early. FRER have said if you test 6 days before your period the result is only 62% accurate, but a positive is a positive! So congrats ❤

Still no AF and I’m 3 days late now 🤔 I’m scared to test because I know I’ll be sad when it’s negative. It’s probably late because it’s all I’ve thought about for 2 weeks.
I'm with you, I'm 4 days late now. Might be worth testing just in case? It becomes so all-consuming, doesn't it...

Hey everyone 👋🏻 I’ve lurked here for a while but not been able to bring myself to chat.

For 14 months now I’ve been using no protection as myself and my partner said no stress, let’s just see what happens.. every month I’m getting more stressed though!

We are now going to take the next step of trying seriously.. for lack of better phrasing.. since the chilled approach clearly isn’t working 🙈 Whenever I start to google it’s quite a minefield of vitamins, testing, logging everything and it’s so overwhelming! Does anyone have any recommendations for websites / apps with all the important basics?
Read some of the last 50 pages. Lots of info

Hi. Hope it’s ok to join this. I’m so new to the journey and I’m already feeling myself getting obsessed, have spent a fortune already on pregnancy tests! Got excited this morning as I convinced myself I saw a line. But I just know it’s not, is it? :( period is late but I know it’s imminent so I don’t know why I got my hopes up.

Any tips for not getting obsessed?! It’s so hard! Just need to chill I think.

hey and welcome 💕 I’m really sorry but I can’t see a line, but it could be the type of test, maybe try a clearblue?

I am not the one to give advice for not becoming obsessed 😂 we are renovating and doing lots of DIY so that helps. Try your best to keep busy 💕

I’m almost 100% sure I ovulated early this month. I felt a really weird popping sensation on Sunday CD11 then had ovulation cramps yesterday CD12 which have gone today and they usually last 2 days. I just wasn’t prepared for it to be that early. DTD last night but think it’ll have been too late. I’ll keep at it (lol) but AGGHHHHHHHH, the frustration is too real.

@JLXRD CB digi needs to have a baseline hormone to work from so the first it usually blank and then tomorrow it will be able to note any change in hormone. Or even tonight if you think you’re close!
Thank you grumpycat, that makes sense. Might still use my strips this afternoon then just in case and then test tomorrow morning.

Hey everyone. Just wondered if anyone else still continued to test OPK after they have hit their peak? Or do you hit your peak and then stop testing over after your period?

Bought my husband some fertility vitamins, and he’s absolutely thrilled by this 🤣

Told myself I wouldn’t test until I missed my period so OBVIOUSLY I tested (at literally 10dpo lol). They were only £1 so it doesn’t count right ?! Really cannot afford to spend money on pregnancy tests this month so I’m hoping that holds me back! 🥴 anyway, negative as expected.

My boobs have been really sore the past week or so which isn’t really something I usually get and have been feeling nauseas 25/7 so I dunno. I get a feeling this isn’t the month for me anyway so trying not to get hopes up in any sense of the word. Hope everyone else is doing ok xx
Hahaha you sound like me! “Im not going to do it, it’s not worth it…. I did it. Oh it’s negative.”

I still have a headache, and I’m now 14 DPO. I’ve moved all my data over to Clue; I used clue for years but just switched to Apple Health (because, why not?) but I think clue is more accurate.
