We have our first appt with the fertility clinic in 6 weeks, gotta have bloods/sperm sample done in 2 weeks in preparation for it. Question… would you keep ttc up until then or skip a month? I am 6dpo now and the date of the fertility appt is meant to be cd1 for my next next cycle so I’m unsure if we should try or not try!!! Thoughts?

Personally I'd keep trying but I haven't been through this process myself

Hey all, first time posting here - hope you don’t mind! 😊 I’m very new to all of this and I’m currently 11 DPO been feeling nauseous since 5DPO and had cramping for the last 3/4 which never happens for me pre AF. Had some hot flushes, gone to the loo more. Been very thirsty too and yesterday was absolutely ravenous - not sure if these are symptoms??
I’m very conscious that I’m symptom spotting and it’s all probably NOTHING!! I wasn’t expecting the nausea so soon so think it might be something else? Is it possible to be nauseous this early? Done an early test today and got a BFN but not sure if I’m too early? When is the earliest and mode reliable time to take a test?
Sorry if I sound super naïve - don’t know anyone who’s gone through it plus the internet has 100+ different opinions!!

Welcome 😊 so the official advice is that anything that happens between ovulation and AF is the same whether you're pregnant or not and that symptoms don't typically develop until after a missed period. However, so many women have symptoms that are unusual for them and then find out they're pregnant so you know your body best. I think there is an element of being more aware of your cycle once you're TTC and noticing things you may have disregarded before, but I totally believe early symptoms are possible because so many women have experienced them.
The best time to take a test is first thing in the morning as first wee of the day is the most concentrated. I think the HCG levels double around every other day when pregnant so of course you're most likely to get a BFP if you wait longer - but who can wait?! Early tests like the First Response ones can be taken up to 6 days before a missed period, so 5 days before your period is due. However if you test 5 days in advance and get a BFN it doesn't mean you're not pregnant.
All in all, you're not out until AF shows so it's worth trying again tomorrow morning if you don't want to wait for AF to be late to test again.
Good luck 💕

Guys thanks for all the love yesterday, it warmed my heart 🥰

I’m alright today. I ate pate and smoked mackerel with Brie, washed down with a bottle of wine last night. I took another test this morning and it’s back to negative, so that’s a good thing - I can start fresh again once Flo has gone.

To be honest I’m just grateful I can become pregnant, I know there are many women who can’t.

Hope you’re all alright ladies. Hugs all round xx

Just tested at 6DPO even though I know it’s 100% pointless - I just really wanted to??? Obviously a BFN 🥲 Sending myself cross eyed trying to see a second line but it’s completely blank 🤦🏼‍♀️

I did this last month. Sometimes you just have to. I bought a new pack of pregnancy tests and LH strips and tested Hcg from 6DPO onwards and LH constantly. It becomes a numbers game rather than an emotional thing, for me anyway. If you’ve got them, keep testing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Considering last month I didn't ovulate until CD20 it's good to see that my body is back to 'normal' and I'm getting high readings today (CD14) when I usually peak, hopefully get my peak tonight! I usually ovulate CD15/16. I ovulated CD11 once that was strange 🤣

Pretty new here! I posted the other day about missing ovulations. Turns out I was wrong I did ovulate this month. Had the worst cramps/period of my life a few days ago. It was odd for a number of reasons and when my acupuncturist saw my bbt chart she wanted me to test. It was a chemical pregnancy this cycle, the test confirmed it. I’m pretty glad I only found out after the fact. At first I was happy, happy I ovulated and happy something happened inside me. The I got upset when I saw my partner because suddenly I was sad it didn’t take.

I’m so confused by the apps it can’t make up its mind. My ovulation day has changed multiple times. This is my first tracked BBT cycle, thoughts on what it means? Does it look like a normal cycle?

do you know what day you have ovulated in past cycles?

Does your thermometer measure to 2 decimal places? That would be more accurate when charting. You may have ovulated but I tend to have a bigger spike in temp especially 3 days after ovulation but maybe the 2 decimal places make the rise seem bigger if that makes sense?

No it only has one but I am aware I need a proper BBT one for it to be more accurate but I thought as it’s my first month tracking I would see what happens before spending out for another one as I have like 3 others around the house somewhere that I can’t find 😂 if nothing this month I’m going to order one

CD2 again. my period is so heavy :( im happy my cycle was only 28 days this time.
But I'm worried about something I didn't really take notice of until I started tracking.
Towards the end of my luteal phase and start of my period, I have these intense burning like pains. Not cramps but like a stabbing in my uterus area and ovaries. Does anyone know what this could be? :(

I’ve been bent double with pelvic pain this afternoon. Kind feels like period pain but really strong. I don’t normally suffer with period pain and I’m still over a week away from my period. Could it be implantation pain? I wouldn’t of imagined it would be this painful and noticeable? Test is BFN atm but I thought it would be too soon for that anyway

That was what endometriosis felt like for me. Like it was on fire and turning a small sharp knife. Do you have any other symptoms? Bleeding after sex anything like that?

No bleeding after sex or pain no. Just these horrible pains. I've suspected endo but it's so hard to talk to doctors about. I have a GP appointment in a couple weeks and no idea how to go about it
