I’m back at the fertility clinic today for my HYCOSY results (which I had in January!!). I’m really nervous. I hadn’t minded waiting in the run up to my wedding but now that’s over I need to move forward so thinking of jumping ship to a private clinic.
Why has it taken so long to give you the results that’s ridic! Did they at least give you some indication while you were there? The nurse told me everything looked fine but the doctor would have to confirm. Good luck x

To be fair they did send an an April appointment but I was due to be on honeymoon so asked to reschedule and today was the next available! Waiting times are crazy. They did say everything looked fine at the time so I’m hoping the doctor confirms that today, but not sure what they’ll say the next step would be now. Thank you x

Waiting times are ridiculous for the NHS, my husband is having tests done and he had his done at the beginning of May, had his results appointment 6 weeks later, one result was abnormal but the rest was okay so they've asked him to do another test to see if it was a lab error or something that we need to look into, and his second appointment isn't until September! It's a joke!

so, maybe not my period… I’d appreciate an honest response on my picture. I’ve put this on premom too but I trust you ladies to give a reliable response.

I’m 12DPO, but honestly, I think that’s off given the light nature of these pee sticks.
Should I try the Boots cheapo I have? Thanks girls xx

Thank you, I’ll have a look. Thanks for the encouragement too.
In line with this I came home from work today with a really bad headache I’m 11DPO that just hasn’t shifted all day so gave into temptation and tested which resulted in this…

I can definitely see a line, can you see it too? Trying my best not to build my hopes up but already been emotional! 🙈 I’ve felt all sorts of symptoms since my ovulation date so it would make sense but I know what my luck is like! I also know these tests aren’t the best!

I can see a line too! I think that’s a good line for 11DPO and not FMU. Congratulations ❤

I’ve had my appointment at the fertility clinic. I’ve been prescribed a low dose of clomid for 3 months then if that doesn’t work I’m to go back for bloods in October and they may prescribe a higher dose for another 3 months. If that doesn’t work they’ll discharge me from NHS care and we will need to decide if we want to fund IVF privately. I’m quite happy with that plan and I don’t think it will hurt to try clomid before biting the bullet.

Interestingly, the doctor told me to stop using OPKs and tracking BBT. She said she finds it causes more stress than it’s worth and if we have sex every other day we won’t miss the peak. She also told me to stop taking all supplements aside from folic acid and vitamin D. I’m going to follow her advice for the next few months as clearly my methods haven’t worked yet 🤣

That sounds good, nice that they've given you a plan to focus on. Interest about not tracking or taking supplements too! Best of luck, hope things work out and you don't need to go back 💕

Thank you ❤ I’d never seen such joy on my husband’s face when he realised the beeping thermometer wouldn’t be going off at 7am each morning anymore!

I’ve read this over the last few days about supplements and only to take folic, Vit D and then omega 3 if you’re not getting enough from food sources. I’ve only got a couple sachets left of Proceive left anyway so I’ll be doing this too now I think because likewise not worked for 3 months.

Anyone else ovulate every second cycle? Been tracking with bbt and opk for 5 months and every second cycle seems to be a dud. Starting to worry. Over in the uk and over 35 so my Gp is doing blood tests and I’m getting a ultrasound next month.

I got my Clear Blue confirmation today but I’m also bleeding with some cramping. I guess I’m having a chemical 🤷🏻‍♀️

Could it be implantation bleeding/cramps? Fingers crossed and hope you're doing ok, the waiting and seeing must be so hard ♥

Thanks love. Yeah, I was about to shove the positive test under sleeping husbands nose but I guess I’ll wait until the bleeding stops and test again.

My doctor said exactly the same to me, told me to throw them in the bin 🤣 in her words ‘if your having regular sex sperm will be there when your egg gets released so don’t over think it’ easier said then done but I do think if it’s stressful it probably is more harm than good. Good luck 🤞 due to start clomid too in the next couple of months

I went against my better judgement and bought expensive supplements but I'll go back to normal folic acid and vitamin D once I've finished them!
