I came on overnight so must have just been an evap line or something? So gutted
Did your line have any pink colouring in it or was it grey? I had a bad evap line on a frer last cycle too. I know how it feels after getting your hopes up. Sending ❤

I thought I could see some pink🤷‍♀️ thanks for the ❤ - it has really hit me hard and I feel absolutely miserable

So I have taken several cheapies and they all have a faint line on them so I know yesterday wasn’t an ident buuuuut I’m spotting so I think it was a chemical. Also with my last loss, by this point I had quite dark lines and these are not that. I don’t regret testing early as I just had a feeling I was pregnant again and it was good to know I’m not just going nuts.

I have learned the hard way that 2 line doesn’t mean baby, so I wasn’t thinking it would all be ok, and tbh I was not expecting anything to happen this cycle anyway as it’s been an utter tit show after my loss - I’m on CD55. Had a little cry and now I’m ok.

Onto the next cycle x

I want to ask this but i sincerely don't want to come across as insensitive etc. And I'm genuinely sorry for the girls who got their hopes up with positives and then dashed for various reasons because that's heart breaking and i hope you are looking after yourselves.
My question is, these pregnancy strips etc you use trying to see a line or a faint line comparing to evap lines and so on..... why don't you use a digital test? Christ knows they're more expensive but there's zero room for interpretation then, it's either pregnant or not? I ask because those faint lines can be cruel and get hopes up?

Digital tests usually are taken after you miss your period and aren’t as sensitive as earlier tests.

The question is yes, if you waited til after your period you might not have realised it was a chemical pregnancy but if your cycle is long/all over the place it’s easier to use cheaper, more sensitive tests.

Usually if you are TTC then you are actively looking so will test earlier. It’s much easier said than done to wait until a missed period as the TWo week wait is torture enough!

Hi guys, sorry if this has been mentioned, I'm new to Tattle and this thread- does anyone take folic acid whilst trying to conceive? I read about it but didn't know if anyone currently takes it or what their opinions are.

FRERs are very sensitive and will show you early and I think that’s what most use for early testing (or when you don’t know where you are, like those of us with really irregular cycles) but they are expensive! I only used one yesterday because I have now been pregnant (ended in loss) and had the exact same symptoms so felt it wasn’t a waste of money.

With the cheap strips, in my experience - if it will show up on a cheapy it will show up ‘pregnant’ on a CB digi, especially the weeks ones.

I’m getting a faint line on a cheapy now still, pretty sure it would probably say pregnant on a digi as they have the same threshold. It would probably be even harder for me to see the word pregnant and then have it snatched away again.

It’s a fair question but they are so expensive I don’t want to use them just on the off chance I may be pregnant - I use them to confirm what the cheap strips have already told me. Like if today I weren’t spotting I probs would have done a digi to back up my strip/frer but since I’m fairly certain it’s a loss, why waste the money.

TTC for 5 years before getting pregnant and took folic acid every day

Welcome ❤ Yes! I just take the boots own brand. My doc said I should be taking it consistently for a few months before conceiving.

Yes absolutely take folic acid. I’ve been taking it for about a year now. I think it’s prob the one thing everyone agrees upon or the vast majority at least.

Anyone care to take a guess when I ovulated? CB static smiley on saturday 2nd october. I am so confused & I don’t think either of us can face DTD again 🙈

Thanks guys, I went and bought some last night! We've been trying for our first baby since July and it started as just we'll stop being careful and if it happens it happens, but now I'm starting to track ovulation etc. so I'm very new to all this so will probably ask a lot of silly questions!

Don't you just love it when your body throws you a curveball? 😒😒

According to my apps I was due to ovulate at the weekend. I've had some suspicious discharge the past 2 days, and when my ovulation tests arrived today they confirmed that I'm due to ovulate earlier than expected. I usually get a 2 day peak, so hopefully this is the first day and we can squeeze in a couple of goes the next couple of nights. Though it's possible yesterday was day 1 😖

Between sickness bugs and covid in the house, there unfortunately hasn't been much "trying" going off the past week or so.

Everything crossed that a couple of well-timed tries will be enough 🤞😣🤞

Hi all. Six months TTC Baby #2 (baby #1 is almost 8 and was a got-pregnant-on-the-pill baby), and I’m driving myself demented. Currently on 14Dpo and have been wrecked the last few days and eating everything around me but to say the test couldn’t be more negative (a glowing white where a red strip could be). Cramping started earlier so probably out for this cycle but it’s frustrating that it happened SO easily when we really weren’t trying but now that we’re trying it’s not happening. Admittedly I’m now 30 not a fertile 21 year old but still! Am I delusional to hope that this cycle might be it?

Even though I'd basically come on yesterday I still tried to convince myself it was implantation bleeding until today when I became definitely out. I think there is nothing wrong with hope.
I just ordered another £30 of ovulation tests that come with pregnancy tests. Hoping October is our month after to MC this year. Third time lucky im hoping and praying xx

Sad to report that my BFP is now looking likely to be a chemical pregnancy 😭 last night I got up and felt an alarming amount of wetness, went to the loo and yup there was a significant amount of blood. Kidding myself that perhaps it was just spotting but nah. Pregnancy test today is a bit lighter than yesterday.
