I know what my best friend would name her children and I'd never use those names (even though I like one of them). I wouldn't want to cause her the tiniest bit of hurt.I so know what you mean!!!! It happened to me. My best friend named her son the name I'd always spoken about. I was pissed off at first, but I guess it's just one of them.

Ruairi! Pronounced Rory. (I appreciate not everyone's cuppa tea!) She even chose the true Irish spelling and she's not Irish.
Edit - probs should point out I'm Irish hence the irritation over her or her family not being Irish

Hi, long time lurker here… I’ve been TTC since January 2020, I’ve had two miscarriages in the last year one quite recently and mid trimester, it was awful 
I was just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced a positive ovulation test to detect early pregnancy? Sorry I know this is such a sensitive subject as I’ve been reading that some of you have been trying for years 
I had a positive ovulation test around 11 days ago with all the obvious ovulation symptoms and we dtd the same night, I then carried on testing until the ovulation test showed a very faint line/negative… but tonight I’ve just randomly decided to do another ovulation test and it’s come back positive (TW: pic below), I’m due on around the weekend, but too scared to buy a pregnancy test as I don’t want to get my hopes up for them to be dashed again 
Any advice would be welcome

Yes I got a dark positive OPK like that 2 days before missed period and a positive test so could be x

I actually tested positive on a FRER today but I've been spotting dark brown blood for 10 days (since 3DPO) so I'm not holding out much hope that it will stick. We shall see

Had another positive FRER this morning but still very worried as still bleeding and feel quite uncomfortable down below. I had a chemical pregnancy before I had my son and that was very different. That was missed period, positive test and then what was like a terrible period. This is just spotting...well some brown blood and I need a panty liner.

I feel really down today, I thought I wasn’t bothered this cycle but I just know I’m not pregnant and it just makes waiting for AF feels so pointless.
I hadn’t been optimistic at all but yesterday at I had a huge temp jump. Like 0.5 huge. My highest temp ever by a mile. So I got a bit hopeful. It’s still up today and my temps are very different to last month, if it’s high tomorrow my chart will be triphasic. Hence the hope. Just for a few hours.
But I’ve just checked my cm and there was a tiny minuscule amount of blood in it, a little speck just like last month. Wouldn’t have noticed were I not checking.
It feels early as last month I got this 10 dpo then AF started 13dpo, and I’m only 8. But I just know it’s not a good sign. I’m expecting a big temp drop tomorrow and even though I only let myself feel hopeful for a few hours I still just felt totally crushed by seeing that little speck of blood
