Lh is still low according to the easyathome opks and clearblue is still showing a flashing smiley... But I had ovary cramps Friday and yesterday, so I would've expected a peak about now!

Hi ladies, how reliable would you say supermarket tests are? Would you say it’s worth the money to stick to the main branded ones i.e. CB/FR?

Hi everyone, sadly already back on the TTC thread here as we had a miscarriage at 5-6 weeks pregnant on Friday 💔

I don't have regular periods, so the doctors said I could start trying when I'm not bleeding and feel ok. Has anyone else had a MC and TTC soon after?

Lots of love x

I found the easy at home ones to be the cheapest online, but you can use other sticks too. I use the easy at home ones for ease because then can compare to previous cycles etc too
So sorry for your loss 💔 xx

Found out last week (on our wedding anniversary 🤦‍♀️) that the second cycle of Letrozole has failed. Now time to induce a AF and then start injections instead which I am not looking forward too! I have failed to ovulate with meds twice now so really not feeling optimistic  I can't keep thinking if this doesn't work what are the options? Is it straight to IVF, which is no one wants to actually do.

It's just a lot, constantly! No relief whatsoever.
Thinking of you, sorry things aren’t going so well right now ❤ Have you done both cycles with letrozole, is clomid an option to try for you?

I have found there are a lot of accounts on Instagram who talk through their TTC journeys with inducing ovulation, trigger shots, ivf, etc - if you search the TTC or ivf hashtags, you might be able to find some stories of people who have already been down that route and see what steps they took first. Hope you get some relief soon xx

Been so absent on here because I've been feeling so poorly. But, the doctors were right in thinking you're more fertile in the 3 months post miscarriage 🥺 I am just praying so hard that this little one sticks as that's always my biggest issue 😣 hope everyone is doing okay.

Congratulations darling and got all my fingers crossed for you xxx

Which vitamins are people taking? I started taking Co10 thanks to this thread.
Ohh what’s co10 please and how can it help with ttc? I take everything I can folic acid, vit d, b12 (I don’t eat a lot of meat), magnesium, zinc and omega 3 (not a lot of fish either) x

I'm on my first cycle and I've had cramping from pretty much 2 days after AF. This has never happened before and I'm not sure if it's my body panicking or what's going on. Just seems so very strange. My predicted ovulation is Friday/Saturday but I'm dubious as my CM hasn't changed at all. 🤔
What day of your cycle are you now? Last month I had ovulation pains for 3 days starting a day after a long AF. I thought to myself wtf this couldn’t possibly be ovulation so early on in my cycle but turns out it was! I had no idea you could ovulate so early after bleeding. Good luck xx

I had acne really bad after coming off of the pill. It lasted about a year then it got better. My skin isn't what it was though. Were you on the pill at all? It is hard to get anything much from the doctor when ttc! It made me Miserable. Hope your okay x

I haven't been on here much lately. I'm in cycle 18 and feeling okay, kind of feel defeated by the whole thing. Husband fell asleep one of the important nights in the fertile window and usually id be fuming. I just didn't have it in me. We did it a few times, not as much as we should have. But then I told myself, people get pregnant by accident in one go, and I've done everything I should for the 17 months before this and it's still not happened, so I just didn't have it in me to stress or be into it as much this month. Maybe next month. Or maybe I need a break. Don't know if I could do that though!

Can I ask if anyone here over a year TTC has never had a hint of a positive? I haven't had anything and this worries me. I know of lots of women that have sadly had miscarriages which is terrible, but not of many that have literally had nothing? X
Literally nothing, been trying over 2 years now

Morning everyone,

I am CD26 and according to my app should be ovulating now.. however I know this isn’t right as I got my peak smiley on CB on CD13… does this mean I will be due AF any day? My cycles since MC have been anywhere between 32-39 days. I can’t bring myself to test yet.. according to my app AF due next saturday x

Thanks so much! Yeah, that is very much our plan. I don't want it to become a chore. I feel like you can get so hung up on what the 'medical' internet says! (Thanks Dr Google.....!) So many seemed to recommend the ov tests, but I just didn't even think about it at the time.

Yes - definitely trying to pay more attention to my CM.. I had no idea it was so important until now. The things they don't tell you in sex ed, hey? haha!!
SOOO much they don’t tell you! There is a wonderful scientific part to TTC but it’s so consuming and can suck the fun out of it. Tricky to find a balance as some people love the control but some find it overwhelming! In my first we tried to do it every other day or every few days and then when we felt it was closer to fertile times every other day or even day if we could get the energy!

are you recently off birth control or anything?

I’m on 8 days DPO & I just caved & tested but it’s a BFN. I don’t know why I did it & now I feel rubbish! But I knew that would happen. So mad at myself.
This is me every cycle! I refuse to buy tests now until the day before AF is due! Can’t take the feeling rubbish any more! Hope you’re okay hang on in there you’re not out yet 🤍🤞🏼 x

Hey girls,
I’ve not posted on here in a while but I have been keeping up with you all and I’m sending you so much love!

my period is due on Thursday and this month leading up has been weird. For the last 3 months I’ve spotted 2-4 days before my period actually starts. This month nothing at all.
I had back pain Sunday all day woke up Monday absolutely fine, and I had what felt like a cold starting the same day, Monday nothing!
I’m probably reading into it too much, and my period will 1000% start on Thursday even after my vaccine it wasn’t late!
We Dtd all in the week leading up to ovulation and I got my highest peak this month, are these symptoms anything any of you realise to be something? Or am I reading too much 😂

I think you're the first person I've seen on here with similar cycles to me. It's really difficult isn't it, you never quite know where you're at with it. Do you use OPKs? I'm on CD30 with no noticeable peak yet, it's my first cycle tracking though so I'm intrigued to see if/when I ovulate. There could be another 30 days left in the cycle (!)
It really is! I haven't used OPKs before as this is my first cycle actively trying to conceive so I figured I'd give it a few months just rolling with it to see what happens really. It would definitely be interesting though, I do seem to have a lot of 'typical' signs of ovulation, it just seems to happen a lot later than it should if that makes sense. But then again, I could be misinterpreting it and it not be happening at all! So it's hard to know really :( Like you say it's a nightmare thinking you could be anywhere between 1-30 days away from your period. Such bloody variety! This year alone I have had cycles of -

68, 39, 54, 54 and currently on 40 lmfao.

Hi all, normally a stalker and now a poster. I’ve been off the pill since November / December 2020. Sporadic periods. Drs have done tests and all normal so far but one had low thyroid but then next one normal and keep saying hand on another 3 months. Is this normal? I feel like it’s not and that my concerns are being dismissed. I’m 27 and healthy enough I think. I’ve been trying to track ovulation and it’s happened a few times and others like I just gave up. I’ve also been having LOADS of hair loss and suggested maybe PCOS to the Drs but he just said you’re not the right weight for that. Okay 🥴? I’ve been thinking of asking to change drs cause I just don’t feel like anyone cares except me but dunno how to handle this on nhs
My Mom's thyroid works sporadically. She had hair loss, weight gain, dizzy spells, tiredness, depression. Turns out she has hasimotos disease which is an autoimmune disease which targets the thyroid. She's on medication now but she basically self medicate because one day she will be hypo and another hyper, so she knows the difference between the two now.

You should try and see and endocrinologist if possible. Unfortunately it took almost 4 years for her diagnosis.

Hi all. Always been a bit or a lurker on this thread but took a step back when ttc just got too hard :( I’ve been kind of giving up recently and not thinking about it, not even tracking my periods (which in hindsight was a bit silly) and today I randomly did a test. I then did three more and they all showed positive. I was in total shock and so did two more, however the final two (not pictured) showed as negative. Very dissapointed but then I did drink a LOT of water in between the tests - could this had affected the results? Not sure what to think now!

ETA to the positive lines showed extremely quickly , even before the control line which I’ve heard is a bad sign?
❤❤ When was/is your period due lovely?
