Hey,

Is it possible to get a very very very very very faint positive 8DPO?

I know first response are known for their indent lines, and I can’t decide if it’s a very early positive or if I’m just seeing what I wanna see.

I’m going to wait a few more days and test again but I just wondered what your experiences were x

I think ovulation can vary from month to month - some months it’s possible to not ovulate at all. It’s entirely possible that you ovulated 4 days early.

Do you use Premom? Have you had a “peak” reading and now the t/c ratio is going down? Xx
it said peak for yesterday and it’s gone down about 0.15 today.
Thank you for your reply! I’ll keep testing to see what happens over the next few days x

I don't live in England specifically, I live on a small island and my doctor actually advised me not to have the vaccine if ttc and that was around March time. They didn't specifically say why other than I'm not in a high risk age category.

They said my husband should so at least there's some protection in the household. Luckily we haven't had covid although it is on the rise here, but I found it interesting that I was advised against it.
I think only the pfizer is recommended for pregnancy. I don't even think you should have the Janssen one if ttc. I might ask my doc, he knows I'm struggling. I live in a small town in the Netherlands, I don't mind still leading a quiet life for another 9 months!! Kids are not allowed in school with snot, so hopefully it's low risk 🙏🙏

Same here, not sure if it’s because I drink lots of water or I just have a short LH surge, but I never get the super dark second line like I see some people share - I’ve literally only seen that about 3 times in the 3 years we’ve been TTC. Almost always get a static on CB though, sometimes goes straight from blank to static.

I’ve only got 3 CB sticks left for this cycle and I was debating whether to just try with the cheap strips this month, but I think I’ve answered my own question there!
Both my clearblue and my cheap OPK have matched up this month shockingly! But I have def missed it previous months on the OPK.

Thanks for the advice, I was considering removing it in the shower and just not looking down. Can you imagine if it genuinely got really stuck and you had to go off to hospital and explain your awesome idea??? 😂 In my case, to Dutch people 🤣🤣🤣

Hey all! How are we all doing? Haven't been on this thread for a while.

Thought I'd update.
This cycle #3 we decided to relax on the temping and opks.. Took a cheapie yesterday and it was negative. I have no idea where I am at in this cycle but I'm confident it hasn't been successful 😓
Next cycle, I'm back on BBT temping and OPKs... can't understand what im doing wrong 🙃
It’s so frustrating isn’t it when you DTD at what you think are the right times & it still doesn’t work. 😞

I’ve a question regarding your partners, how are they finding the process? Mine told me today he’s finding it stressful which is leading to DTD issues. Now I literally tell him as little as possible re testing cus I know it’s stresses him but he’s not stupid. I’d never jump on this much otherwise 🤣 I guess I just wondering if anyone else is the same and any way to relax about it.

Not really sure if this is the right place to post this, but couldn’t find an appropriate place… sorry of it isn’t!

Is there anyone here with male infertility? We’ve known this for a while, and were happy with the situation but have recently realised that we perhaps would like to look into it before it’s too late (I’m early 30s). We will need to use a sperm donor if we do, is anyone else in a similar situation?

I took my BBT this morning at it was 36.3… I got my peak static smiley thing 3 days ago on CB ov test, if I ovulated within that time frame, surely my temp would be higher?

that was the first time I’ve taken my temp never done it before was just curious and wanted to confirm ovulation. Got me worried a little 😓😓
I really wouldn’t worry, your pre ov temps could be 35.8 and then this would be a big rise! You may also have a gradual rise so it will rise a little each day or in little spurts so I’d keep going and see if it keeps going up.

One temp in isolation won’t mean much, you need to do it before ovulation really for it to confirm if you have ovulated.

Keep temping if you can as once you build it up over a few weeks it can be really helpful, I know it’s more difficult if you have different waking times though x

I had my scan today and they can now see a sac 🤗 cant see anything in it yet as still too early but they're happy with what they can see. I have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan and hopefully see a bit more. Tentatively getting excited 🤞sending you all lots of love this Friday afternoon 🥰
So pleased for you☺ Sounds very positive!b❤❤ How far along are you? Xx

This is probs very TMI, but does anyone pay attention to their cervix position/texture when checking for CM? I reckon I'm 8dpo and it seems higher than usual and softer.. I am definitely clutching at straws here so don't judge hahah!!
I do but I don’t check manually - equally TMI but I can tell when mine is lower because sex is ouch 🤣🤣🤣

Really? I thought you only had a really short window after you get a peak, and with me getting a peak on the Clearblue digital yesterday I assumed I was pretty much out.
The LH surge that OPK’s measure happens 24-36 hours before you ovulate, I’d definitely still try in case you can catch it.

CD 8 and back on the clearblue advanced, I have not missed that little empty face 😩

Crossing my fingers that my cycle has regulated a bit and I ovulate before CD32 this time, or these sticks are gonna be bloody expensive 😂
This is completely OT, but how can I message you? Is it possible?

On another note, I used the clear blue connect opks alongside the cheap internet ones and founf

I came off the pill and immediately started gaining weight.

I always thought going on the pill caused weight gain, but it was the total opposite for me!!!

side note, I’ve just binged watched expecting amy on sky, about Amy Schumer’s pregnancy. I loved it way more than I thought and I’m not really a fan of hers. She had a bloody terrible time!

I’m so confused for the past three weeks I’ve had a lot of symptoms! Feeling sick, headaches, back pain, constant cramps in lower abdomen, feeling tired! Yet today I’ve came on my period five days early!
Have you had Covid vaccines recently!? I was 3 weeks late after my first Covid vaccine and had nausea and stomach cramps for a couple of weeks before hand, I was convinced I might be pregnant 😞 Had my second vaccine and looks to be going the opposite way this time and my period is coming early. The cramps are already horrendous and I’m not due on until the weekend.
