Hi everyone, just catching up on the thread as I’m new here 👋🏼

just wanted to get some advice if you don’t mind, can anyone see a second line here? I’ve just taken a test as I have no signs but I just don’t feel RIGHT. can’t put my finger on it but hoping you ladies will know what I mean!!

I don’t think there is a line but there more I stare the more I wonder if I can see one? I’m probably going mad. My partner is out, I did WhatsApp him but I’m getting impatient

EDIT: Okay the more I look there is clearly nothing there. Sorry I feel silly now
I'm sorry, I don't see a line 😢

Hi ladies, I haven’t posted in a while but need some advice.

my period is a couple of days late, and I’m trying to figure out why.

I had my first (Pfizer) COVID vaccine on 19th June, and my next period was roughly on time (I’m usually around 28 days, but is typically 27-29 days), but I had some light spotting for 4 or 5 days before it started. My period does usually start with spotting, but normally either just the day before, or on the day if my period starts in the evening.

This cycle I was due on Wednesday (day 28) and I still haven’t started yet. I’ve had some light spotting for the last 3 days, but none of the real symptoms I’d usually get - not super headachy/crampy/emotional.

In my May/June cycle, I had a very early chemical pregnancy - my period arrived less than 48 hours after getting a faint positive.

I’ve also started exercising a bit more, nothing extreme, but I do a body pump class about 4/5 times a week.

I’m a bit anxious to get my next vaccine in case that’s what’s causing it. Has anyone else noticed disturbances to their period after the vaccine? How long did it take to right itself?
I haven’t had the vaccine myself but there have been a lot of women reporting issues with their cycle afterwards so it does seem to be a possible side effect. I hope it settles back down for you.

Morning everyone,

I am CD26 and according to my app should be ovulating now.. however I know this isn’t right as I got my peak smiley on CB on CD13… does this mean I will be due AF any day? My cycles since MC have been anywhere between 32-39 days. I can’t bring myself to test yet.. according to my app AF due next saturday x
Morning 😊

Sounds like you’re right and AF should be due any day but I’m surprised the app hasn’t adjusted if you’ve entered that you have already ovulated. Which one you using?

If it’s still not here in a few days, I would test as that over 2 weeks after ovulation 🤞🏻

I took my BBT this morning at it was 36.3… I got my peak static smiley thing 3 days ago on CB ov test, if I ovulated within that time frame, surely my temp would be higher?

that was the first time I’ve taken my temp never done it before was just curious and wanted to confirm ovulation. Got me worried a little 😓😓

Sorry if you’ve already mentioned - but is this your first cycle since stopping birth control? X
I stopped the pill back in December and I seem to be on a very regular cycle period wise, so hopefully that means ovulation too. 🤞🏻X

AF is now 5 days late, still BFN. No symptoms of AF or early pregnancy. Does anyone think this could still be pregnancy or just a missed period? My previous cycles have all been 28 days so this is strange. I’m not sure what to do and feeling a bit down today.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you. 🤞🏻💫✨

Soooooo I said I wasn't going to track ovulation as it's not something I've ever done, but Dr has recommended I do since I'm not waiting for AF between the chemical and trying again.

Apparently it can mess up your cycle and when you ovulate.😬 I'm usually pretty regular, cycle days 28/29 and usually feel what I think is ovulation around day 16ish.

I've bought the clearblue ones and [email protected] one says first urine and the other says from 10am-8pm?! So confusing. 🙄

Hi ladies. Hope everyone’s okay as can be. ❤

I just wanted to ask that anyone who has been to see a doctor/specialist ect about fertility. How many cycles did you wait before doing so? I know the NHS says a year of trying. Also how long did you have to wait before getting tests ect. Xxx

Hi everyone, sadly already back on the TTC thread here as we had a miscarriage at 5-6 weeks pregnant on Friday 💔

I don't have regular periods, so the doctors said I could start trying when I'm not bleeding and feel ok. Has anyone else had a MC and TTC soon after?

Lots of love x

I found the easy at home ones to be the cheapest online, but you can use other sticks too. I use the easy at home ones for ease because then can compare to previous cycles etc too
So sorry to hear your sad news x

Im feeling very much like AF is on her way, quite cranky today which to me feels like a period cramp and nothing else.

side note to myself... sore boobs are NOT a pregnancy symptom for me 🤣 as they are still heavy and sore! Remind me of this when I inevitability start mentioning sore boobs again as a possible symptom.

I really tried not to tell mine as knew he’d think I was obsessing….But I got so excited when i hit a peak thay I told him. I have pcos so was excited that my body was doing something it was meant to.

And to be honest he would’ve been very surprised by all the sex and known something like was up as a change from once a month or whenever we get chance ! 🤣
That's why I've not told mine!!! We have sex quite often anyway so he most likely won't suspect a thing or at least he doesn't seem to have🤣

That's brilliant though that you got your peak, I'd have been excited too!!!

@instagramloverinlondon lovely, positive news!!! I hope you're doing okay and feeling well, ❤❤❤

What are everyone’s thoughts on testing early? AF is due on Sunday and I have a clear blue 6 days early test which is burning a hole in the back of my mind 😂

Congratulations! It may not be your period, did you have any implantation bleeding? Might be worth speaking to a GP/EPU for reassurance maybe. 🤞 for you.
I spoke to the doctor has had to go back again about my tonsillitis! She said it could be implantation bleed or it could be a chemical pregnancy. But I’ve had a pad in and had no blood etc so fingers crossed 🤞 . X

Anyone else get horrible insomnia before AF is due? I used to always be like ooh this is like pregnancy insomnia again but then obviously always got my period right after and asked my acupuncturist and she said its because of the rise in body temperature. So had this last night, does that mean I'm out this month?
I'm 10 dpo, I have one test at home but kinda dont want to subject myself to getting a negative yet again

Took the early test and definitely negative. Does this mean I am out this month or could things still change between now and Sunday? I’m assuming I’m out as the packet says they’re 99% accurate 4 days before AF.

I'm going to sound so naive saying this, but I've never taken a pregnancy test as I've never needed to! I've seen so many comments about not testing at xdpo, etc. due to false negatives/positives. I have no idea how many dpo I am as not tested, but AF is due 13th June. Is it best to stick to the general rule of not testing before your expected AF or is it okay to test before? So much conflicting information! thanks :)
I got a positive 4 days before my period was due / 12 days after ovulation (on first response test and then clear blue ones) but I know lots of people prefer to wait until their period is due/late.

I've had both my jabs, but can't really comment on what it did to my cycle as it's so erratic anyway. 1st jab my period was much shorter than normal which is really unusual for me (4 days rather than 7) but that just could be my body being weird, and I had my 2nd one on Monday so that's yet to be seen. xx
Sorry to jump on this but I had my first jab on 22nd April and my latest period has been so weird? I usually differ slightly each month but this last AF has been so weird!? Very on and off and only 4 days! I didn’t even think to relate it to the jab! Anyone else had issues?
