Ditch that bitch, seriously what an absolute thoughtless cowbag. If you don't, hopefully she will forget your baby nameSo sorry and I just need to vent.
a good friend of mine had a baby a few days ago, we were discussing names & she just says oh il keep that name if my next baby is a boy. (She got pregnant twice first time she tried each time)
I am so happy for her but I want to scream at her at the same time. And then I hate myself for being so Mean.
It can be hard to gauge can’t it? If you had mucus change over the weekend that would likely add up as fridays could have been darker again which could have indicated ovulation was imminent or getting close (they say 12-24 or is it up to 48 hours?) so if your CM changed it would align. Thanks for your reply! I did think this! I was going to take more but have ran out! I have had mucas changes over the weekend so this could have possibly been my fertile window. I suppose now I’m in my 2ww. I have no pregnancy tests in this month to test early as I’m waiting to see if AF comes on time. Testing early just makes me very stressed xx
Thank you for getting back to me and congratulations on your BFPI had a fertility appointment and the first one was just asking questions. It wasn’t a specialist more like a nurse getting information. Asked how long I’d been trying, if I take pre natal vits, asked my partners name age etc and if we smoke. It was literally just taking info from me. She then sent me information leaflets in the post about hsg and hyfosy. That was it. My second appt was cancelled but I haven’t needed it anyway as luckily I got my bfp after nearly 3 years. Good luck
I always just wait until AF shows, I’ve only ever tested when it’s been late. I’m fairly certain most people test around 10-12 DPO thougHi everyone?
what is the earliest you would take a pregnancy test or should I just wait until AF is due? I want to be disappointed as soon as possible and get it over with.
In terms of ovulation testing, I started off by using just the cheap sticks from Amazon - the easy@home ones, then started using the Clearblue Digital, then started temping too. I know some people just use the cheapies, it depends if you always get a clear positive or not, but I rarely do so use other things to be sure.Hello everyone!
Any advice for best test for ovulation? I'm currently using the Flo app which obviously can't test and isn't accurate but I like to track everything
I've been off the pill properly for about two years now as I was single and not really sleeping with anyone. I am with someone now and I've never tried to conceive before now so it's my first time.
I've had really sore nips for a few days and also fatigue. Yesterday I had what looked like implantation bleeding, pink/brown sticky discharge but today I had what is a normal period. I've never had this sticky pink discharge before a period, it's always been a heavy flow right away and I also never had any pms symptoms leading upto this and I always do (overeating mainly)
I take the fact I started bleeding normal red blood is a sign it's just my period and I aren't preggers but has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it's just because my body is getting used to having sex all the time? Just wondered if anyone has had anything similar
Not even heard of this before! Going to give it a go this month. Thanks!I’m not TTC, and you girls may have looked into this, but I swear by the SMEP.
Yes I’ve posted in the thread about it. At first I was late for a week and now my cycle is slightly longer and I’m bleeding for less daysHave any of you had your period delayed or gone strange after having the vaccine?
I would say positive, congrats!Hi everyone, hope you're all doing okay!
So AF is due tomorrow and I've had weird cramps that don't feel like periods pains as well as a dull ache in my lower abdomen for a week or so. So I took a FRER and there's a faint line, but I'm not sure if this is what an indent looks like? Does anyone know? Think I'm being over cautious. Thanks x
I would deffo go in having fun! Have sex frequently and keep an eye on ovulation signals from your body to see when you might be fertile. The first time I fell pregnant I didn’t use OPK’s and it was fine. I only did this time as I was off birth control and i was hoping to check my body was doing as it should.Hello! My husband and I are on our first month of trying for a baby and I've been looking for somewhere to talk about it rather than with people I know! (I don't want anyone knowing really in case it doesn't happen for any reason.)
I forgot about this little place and it looks so full of positivity and love and most importantly support.
If I'm honest I'm terrified. I'm worried in case it happens the first month and I'm worried in case it doesn't! Did anyone else feel like this?
I've bought pregnancy tests, but I've not bought ovulation tests and I didn't want myself to become too consumed at first. Flo predicts my ovulation to be around 27th of this month, but now I'm wondering if I should've bought the ovulation tests. Did anyone else do this in the first few months of trying? Thanks!
Yes I was going to attach an image of a faint line to genuinely get people’s opinions (as I don’t test often and had never used FR before) but I posted it and I could see the images regardless so I deleted it as I know it’s difficult seeing positive pregnancy tests. It’s essentially like an announcement. I actually downloaded an app called ‘Pregnancy Test Checker’ where it’s like a constant feed and people upload images of tests and others vote whether it looks positive or negative. Which was very helpful to me the past couple of days! It also allows you to play about with contrasts and make the image a “negative” to try and see the line, however if you’ve to resort to that I’d guess it’s a negative test IMO.
Yes that’s the issue. He does shift work plus we have a 2 year old who is going through a needy phase & we haven’t slept in the same bed overnight in 3 weeks. So sex is very much planned & is minus crack for either of us if I’m honest. Haven’t broke the news to him yet that we need to do it tomorrow too & maybe Tuesday for good lucksame here! I try not to explicitly tell him it’s my fertile time because it puts pressure on, but sometimes sex drives/work schedules don’t match up.
If it's been 3 years, you don't say how old you are, but have you thought of asking for proper TTC help? I've personally chosen against it, despite my age (I'm also a needle wuss) would IVF or something give you hope or something to focus on? Or are you just going to try a cup full of preseed like the rest of us?The ‘anniversary’ of my miscarriage is this week and I’m finding it really tough. It will be 3 years since it happened and I can’t help but think about the fact I’d have a toddler running around. Still no bump or baby though.
I hope all of you lovely ladies are still holding strong
I hope soIt looks like my LH is slowly rising which means my cycle might be back to its normal routine after our loss.Currently CD 11 and usually ovulate around CD14. Didn't get any sign of a rise until CD22 last cycle. So I'm hoping this is a positive sign.
Hope you're all doing ok![]()
I would definitely get a second opinion. I was lucky when I first went to my doctor that she recognised the signs regardless of my weight (I’m quite petite and have a very active lifestyle). I second what the previous poster said, there is such thing as lean PCOS. My doctor even said I would have probably been ignored had I gone somewhere else. I moved recently and registered at a new doctors and they wanted me to have all the tests done again as they didn’t believe it would be PCOS as I’m not “overweight or have acne” despite what it said in my notes. I agreed to have further blood test and refused all the scans and demanded they proceeded with what my previous doctor had started and they did, now I’m just awaiting my fertility appointment.Hi all, normally a stalker and now a poster. I’ve been off the pill since November / December 2020. Sporadic periods. Drs have done tests and all normal so far but one had low thyroid but then next one normal and keep saying hand on another 3 months. Is this normal? I feel like it’s not and that my concerns are being dismissed. I’m 27 and healthy enough I think. I’ve been trying to track ovulation and it’s happened a few times and others like I just gave up. I’ve also been having LOADS of hair loss and suggested maybe PCOS to the Drs but he just said you’re not the right weight for that. Okay? I’ve been thinking of asking to change drs cause I just don’t feel like anyone cares except me but dunno how to handle this on nhs
