Drinking more water can affect it but also if you have a short surge then you can easily miss it only testing once a day (if I only tested once a day I would miss mine) so I would recommend doing morning and evening if you can.

It looks like it was darker CD19. morning but then there is 30 hours before the next test so you could easily have had a darker one afternoon and evening of CD19 and morning of CD20 but it’s then gone back down by CD20 afternoon iyswim.
That makes sense as CD19 was my static so it would match up. Thanks so much !

Hi all, normally a stalker and now a poster. I’ve been off the pill since November / December 2020. Sporadic periods. Drs have done tests and all normal so far but one had low thyroid but then next one normal and keep saying hand on another 3 months. Is this normal? I feel like it’s not and that my concerns are being dismissed. I’m 27 and healthy enough I think. I’ve been trying to track ovulation and it’s happened a few times and others like I just gave up. I’ve also been having LOADS of hair loss and suggested maybe PCOS to the Drs but he just said you’re not the right weight for that. Okay 🥴? I’ve been thinking of asking to change drs cause I just don’t feel like anyone cares except me but dunno how to handle this on nhs

I’m just feeling so down today.

I’ve been crying on and off and feel like I can’t stop. I should be 20 weeks today and it should be so happy and exciting to be halfway and it’s just shit. I don’t even know why I’m posting this, I just need to say it to someone. I just can’t fathom how life can be so cruel. I know I’m never going to forget it, but I need someone to tell me the pain won’t last forever and there will be a day where my heart won’t hurt quite so bad 😞💔
Thinking of you and sending lots of love ❤

Dear Tattlers,

This isn't my usual thread, but I have nowhere else to go. I've just had a really REALLY faint blue line. I do feel "different" and tired, but every month I "scan" my body for "different" but I'm never pregnant. We tried for 4 years for our first, it's now been at least 3 and I've had polys hoovered out of me twice in the last 2 years, I'm now 42. I honestly feel like this is PMT/another polyp. I've done 2 tests, day 29 and 30. I'm won't count myself officially late until gone day 38 - the day I tested last time and it was a BFP. Obviously all I have to do is wait a few more days and 🙏, but has anyone else had a faint line and turned out to be pregnant?

I'm booked in at the EPU tomorrow morning. Had another positive FRER this morning but still very worried as still bleeding and feel quite uncomfortable down below. I had a chemical pregnancy before I had my son and that was very different. That was missed period, positive test and then what was like a terrible period. This is just spotting...well some brown blood and I need a panty liner. 🤞🤞🤞

Got everything crossed for you. Lots of love xx

Thanks again all ♥

This morning I’ve started bleeding. I am so very sad but I was prepared that this would happen.

I had a breakdown yesterday on a meeting as I was already muted and sobbing, then a close colleague announced her pregnancy and started talking about baby clothes she was buying. I had to dial off. I’ve taken today off work and will probably take tomorrow too.

The worst bit was waking up this morning and having that brief moment where I felt okay, and then remembering what was happening. It’s like having the realisation all over again. Also just having to get rid of the pregnancy apps on my phone, the pictures we took of us happy with the positive test - seeing how happy we were is just so sad.

I feel like I have taken that happiness from my husband. He cried with happiness when the test was positive and now he’s never going to have that moment again because he knows it won’t always end how you hope. I can’t help but feel guilt for that. I know that it’s not my fault, but it’s so hard.
Thinking of you ❤

Hi girls. I’ve been a long time lurker but have a few questions so hope you don’t mind me popping on :).
I’ve never been pregnant. Ever.
I’ve tried for a couple of months but last year but nothing happened and I don’t think I was tracking it properly tbh.
But this month I’m going to really try as I’m 32 now and I don’t have time on my side.
I’ve come on today and checked 3 sites then for my suspected ovulation date and they’re all different 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Can anyone recommend any digital ovulation texts?
Has anyone used the Ava bracelet?
And can anyone recommend and vitamins?
Thank you girls ❤
Hi and welcome! I had a few apps too and they all told me different things. Im using Premom at the minute & I just started using clearblue last month & they both synced up. A friend of mine conceived twice very easily but she had sex every second day each time & it worked for her so that’s def worth a try. If it cools
Down! Good luck xx

Argh so after having a miscarriage in november and having some time to recover i fell pregnant again in June and miscarried today unfortunately. I truly am heartbroken as both times i had spotting around 5-6 weeks so as soon as i saw that i just knew, despite having a scan yesterday and was told everything was fine! How many miscarriages is too many? Is it 3 before you get help? Im now extremely petrified it will happen again. The first one was via d&c as it was a missed one. This one was at home naturally. I feel such a failure and i genuinely do not know how people carry on.
I’m so sorry darling. I know words do not make you feel any better but my heart truly is breaking for you. Sending you so much love xxxxx

Hey everyone. Long time no speak. Hope you are all doing ok - I’m still here lurking a few months on 😬 I’m not sure if any of you have felt like this, but I’m struggling a bit with future planning.
Feel like I can’t make plans because if I plan something around potentially getting pregnant, I will jinx it and it won’t happen. Not sure if that even makes sense. I’m such a control freak - like my childless friends are talking about a booking piss-up holiday for next year - I’d rather be pregnant and miss it , but if it doesn’t happen for us by then, will I be kicking myself for not going? Or if I don’t go and then I’m still not pregnant is it because I jinxed myself by assuming I would be?

I think the way I’m feeling is also super selfish and shallow but I just can’t help it 😞 hoping someone will understand
Completely get where you’re coming from! We decided that once I got pregnant, I’d quit my job and work my 3 months notice. I feel like I completely jinxed it as by now I expected to have left. 🤦🏻‍♀️🥲.

Well that’s my referral for the sub fertility clinic in. I’m grateful for my GP taking me seriously and not fobbing me off this time, having said that she wasn’t able to give me any sort of timeframe for hearing from them so who knows how long I’ll be waiting 😩
Probably wishful thinking but maybe I’ll have fell before hearing back from them 🤞🏼
Best of luck to you! Not sure what area you are in but I was seen about a month later after my referral was done. Everything afterwards has been super speedy! But fortunately my cycles have lined up for a lot of things.

I have an ultrasound booked tomorrow morning first thing to lee if the Letrozole has done its job so we can actually DTD🤞

So I got my bloods done this morning to check fertility & have to ring next week for the results. I’m nervous but at the same time I’m glad to have it done to either be told all is good or it’s not and next steps are xyz.

Hi all, new to this thread. Husband and I have just really started TTC in the last 2 months. Tomorrow is my ovulation day - so currently in my weeks window of chance of conception.
I don’t fully understand all of the abbreviations you use here yet. And not fully researched in all the tips. Currently just doing the old fashioned DTD and hope for the best.
I’ve never felt desperate to have a baby but now All my friends have babies or are pregnant and I’m starting to panic a bit in case I leave it too late. Currently 33. Husband is desperate for one and he’s been the driving force behind TTC mostly.
all tips and help appreciated
Welcome to the thread ❤ if you scroll back a page or two, someone has posted about the SMEP method which tells you exactly when to DTD this week! I'm definitely trying it next month after having a very poor month due to a cough and an exam. I'm a hopeless case so I've found the info here very helpful and the support invaluable.

I genuinely didn't expect this to happen, but it looks like it has. 😍 There have been many tears this morning, happy ones of course.

Thank you to everyone on here who offered advice, this little place to talk has been amazing.

If anyone is thinking of testing early, I got a bfn on tuesday and got my first bfp on Friday. AF was due today. I genuinely thought after Tuesdays BFN that was me for this cycle!

Sending baby dust to you all. ❤✨
Congratulations!! 🥰♥

Hey guys I have posted on here before been trying for quite a few months now. I think I maybe pregnant I’m a week late but just so scared to test. I have 2 girls already and was exactly the same when pregnant with my youngest. My previous pregnancies I have had early symptoms of extreme exhaustion, nausea, headache and hunger but nothing like that yet. I have however been getting the worse stomach cramps so quite concerned I keep expecting my period to turn up that’s why I’m so nervous to take a test.
Be brave! Take a test! It could be great news for you, and if it isn’t then atleast you know 🤍😊🤍😊

Hi guys.

My HSG confirmed my left tube is completely blocked. Assuming it’s from my surgery I had to remove a cyst last year. So I’m now starting Letrozole for 3 cycles, if no luck then on to ICSI or IVF. Burst into tears in the room, even though I expected this news it was still a shock to hear it. I feel like such a failure! Feel like I’m letting my husband down a lot.

hope everyone is ok x
You are absolutely not a failure or letting anyone down. You are so much more than just your ability to conceive with ease and having problems doing so doesn’t make you any less of a woman/wife/mother. Make sure you tell your husband how you are feeling. As others have said, the important thing is you have answers and a plan, I have my fingers crossed for you 💕
