I’m so confused for the past three weeks I’ve had a lot of symptoms! Feeling sick, headaches, back pain, constant cramps in lower abdomen, feeling tired! Yet today I’ve came on my period five days early!

Yeah I did too in February. Sadly lost the baby at almost 10 weeks.

I actually tested positive on a FRER today but I've been spotting dark brown blood for 10 days (since 3DPO) so I'm not holding out much hope that it will stick. We shall see 🤞🤞🤞
Fingers crossed for you 🌈. I’ve had brown spotting on and off throughout the first few weeks of my pregnancy x

SOOO much they don’t tell you! There is a wonderful scientific part to TTC but it’s so consuming and can suck the fun out of it. Tricky to find a balance as some people love the control but some find it overwhelming! In my first we tried to do it every other day or every few days and then when we felt it was closer to fertile times every other day or even day if we could get the energy!

are you recently off birth control or anything?
So much for 'it's almost 100% certain if you have unprotected sex you'll get pregnant'! Yeah... okay then! I'm 27 and unfortunately so very naive about ttc that I've definitely been sucked into the scientific hole haha.

My husband is more than happy to do the deed every day, I'm not sure he ever has a tired day. I think he'd be very turned off if I was demanding sex bcus of ovulation though. He's been very laid back about it which I'm liking so far.

I came off the mini-pill in December, so been off it approx 6 months or so. As a side note, I would never voluntarily go back on the pill. I didn't realise how psychotic it made my moods. We've used condoms since then, so going back to 'unprotected' was a bit of a shock.

Hi!

it was just the first treatment they have offered. I never knew I wasn’t ovulating, although I have never had a positive OPK I assumed due to my PCOS it would be hard to find my ovulation day so thought nothing of it really. They did offer another cycle with Letrozole at a higher dose again but I just don’t think that is going to work and well, I’m impatient!

Do you have many side effects with this? It’s the only thing I’m really concerned about.
The whole process takes a frustrating amount of time - we are 14 months getting to this point, and there have been times where I thought I was going to lose my mind over the waiting!

I didn't have many side affects other than feeling more emotional / hormonal than I already was! Beyond that, I had some bloating and night sweats - but I cant say for certain if it was the Letrozole or the Gonasi that was causing this.

The latest drugs I am on are the ones that will be used as part of our IVF cycle, and I am finding them harder going than the Letrozole I must admit....

Hi ladies. I am fairly certain this pregnancy will not be progressing and I will be back with you all shortly, I just wanted to update you all.

I wrote last week that my tests weren’t getting darker and my CB digi was also stying in 1-2 weeks. I’m sad to say that my tests have still not darkened and this morning are nearly negative with very faint lines. CB digi has now said 1-2 weeks for 10 days. I know people say not to look at test darkness but for my tests to have been dark and now be coming back almost negative at 19dpo with multiple brands, it’s not looking good.

My symptoms have faded from last week - I know that means nothing but coupled with the tests, I am feeling fairly certain this will not result in a successful pregnancy.

I am obviously devastated and have spent the whole morning since testing just inconsolable. I never allowed myself to feel too happy as I was sure something was wrong, and I guess I was right. My husband has been so happy though and he is just crushed so I just feel incredibly guilty for his sadness, even though I know there’s nothing I could have done.

I am basically just waiting for the physical symptoms to start, which I’m pretty terrified about to be honest. I’m only 4+5 going by ovulation (or 6+2 from LMP) so I’m hoping it won’t be too physically painful. I have not gone through a loss before so I don’t know what to expect. This would have been our first baby.

I am rambling and I’m sorry for offloading here, but I didn’t tell anyone about the pregnancy and have no one to speak with about it, just feel like l can’t move forward at the moment.
Thinking of you ❤

10dpo today. Af normally comes 11dpo, feeling anxious. I had some period type cramps today with one episode of cm with brown spotting mixed in with it fully expected it to come but as yet nothing yet.
I’ve only had this type of cm before but it happened a few times at night and it was followed by af in the morning. If it’s going to come why can’t it just come quickly!

nothing wrong with protecting your heart 😌 I’ve been on both sides of this so know how hard infertility is. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m acutely aware of how others feel. I haven’t done any grand announcements on social media etc. I would also understand if friends who are trying to conceive keep their distance x
That's good that you are understanding. If I get my turn, I will also always always be careful and understanding of people TTC now I know what it's like. One of the hardest parts is people not getting it and telling you what to do and how to feel and just relax, it makes it even lonelier. it is ALWAYS people who conceived easily and have no clue that tell you 'just stop thinking about it' and act like it's obvious as well xx
Wishing you a healthy pregnancy ♥❤

It’s like a punch to the gut every time you see an announcement isn’t it? 😩
I feel like a bitch but I just dread it and it makes me so sad. Then I feel awful because of the guilt of feeling that way. Xx

It is so tiring. Feel like it rules my life in a way. I haven't lived a normal life where I don't have to think about days of the month and period upset and just having sex when I want to without thinking of fertile days for so long... Then the obvious upset of it all. Sometimes I just don't want to do it anymore. But then I think of a baby and so I have to x

so after I took the frer, I looked back at the pictures and I thought I could see a vvvfl but I don’t think it had colour. I took another frer out of its wrapper and lo and behold it had a grey line already on it. My husband could see the line in the pic too so I knew I wasn’t going mad.

Anyway, we went out for lunch and stopped to see if we could get more frers for me to test again tomorrow however they only had CB 6 days earlier ones which I didn’t want to get because I know blue dye isn’t great but I got it anyway.

Got home and thought might as well do a cheapy strip test (addict) and thought i could see a faint line so did another and the blue dye test and …
View attachment 691012

What do you guys think? Be brutal! I can def see a very faint line on all 3 but I don’t know. I am either 11dpo or 9dpo, 2 apps telling me 2 different things. I am scared they could all be indents but surely on 3 separate tests that is unlikely? I am too scared to think it is real, I’m in total shock at the prospect. I don’t know if I should believe it or not. I just feel numb because I think I’m too afraid to feel happy just in case. I will of course test again tomorrow.

Ps: they are super yellow because the pregnacare makes my pee fluorescent 😂
I can see a line !!!!! I am so excited for you and have all fingers crossed.
Ps the pregnacare gives me radioactive yellow pee too 🤣

Yep, right here. Over two years TTC, not one positive at all.

Waiting for IVF to start in the next month or two - it’s weird that SO many people say “I got my positive one day before we started IVF” that I’ve semi convinced myself it’s going to happen naturally.

It’s the hoping that’s the hardest 😞
I do actually know someone who went for a scan to do with starting her IVF and on it they saw she was pregnant! Think she was nearing 3 years. Seemed like a miracle.
You never know ❤

I'm booked in at the EPU tomorrow morning. Had another positive FRER this morning but still very worried as still bleeding and feel quite uncomfortable down below. I had a chemical pregnancy before I had my son and that was very different. That was missed period, positive test and then what was like a terrible period. This is just spotting...well some brown blood and I need a panty liner. 🤞🤞🤞
Good luck, got everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🤍✨

Just had a telephone consultation with my doctor; I was really nervous as there's only 1 doctor at our practice and he's a bit... gruff... but he was really nice. Not entirely helpful however as he's said to just see how this cycle goes, if this one is as long as the last few he'll run some bloods but he did say he think the stress of the pandemic is probably to blame. Can't say I'm convinced but at least he didn't dismiss me entirely I guess.

I would have said a quick positive was a good sign? Maybe try a digital test with tomorrow mornings first urine? 🤞🏻
I agree! Fingers crossed ❤

Had my call from the gp yesterday. I have pcos and it does not appear I am ovulating. She is prescribing me some medication to bring on a ‘period’ and in 6 months I can check in again with her if we haven’t conceived to look into other methods. Very unhelpful phone call tbh. If I’m not ovulating how can we carry on trying, if I’m not having periods how can I track anything. Has anyone had any success stories with pcos and no periods?
We do already have a child and I know we are SO SO lucky and she reminded me of that but it still didn’t make this news any easier.
I have just popped back onto this thread for a random nosy and happened to see your comment. I have an almost three year old, once my periods came back after having her they only came every 8 weeks. I then missed one completely and that’s when I got diagnosed with PCOS, like you given the medication to kick start which it did do but only back to the 8 week cycle, not my pre pregnancy cycle of 35 days. They told me it was very unlikely I was ovulating on such a long cycle. We tried for a couple of cycles while waiting for my fertility referral, I was getting positive OPKs two weeks before each period. We then decided to stop and move house instead- I randomly ovulated a lot earlier the next cycle (day 30- something instead of 50) and fell pregnant. Basically the upshot is im pretty sure I had a ‘normal’ cycle in that I was ovulating etc on a regular basis it was just super long, so although for many people with PCOS opks won’t work, they can be a good indicator as if they ‘work’ for you i.e you get positives at one point in the cycle and not consistently then it’s a good sign you could be ovulating. They do work for some of us.

So glad I've found this thread! I'm ttc for around 17 months with 1 MC and 2 CP's under my belt. Had my HCG this week (was not fun lol)I'm thinking that my septated uterus is defo the reason for my early MC's, going to go to the doctor about having surgery to remove it potentially. I also have hypothyroidism which isn't great for ttc or pregnancy either 😫 anyone else with either of these issues and ttc?

I haven’t tested ov this month so not sure if/when but I’m approx 4/5 based on ewcm only, but I’ve been having a stitch type feeling and pulling sensation on my left side all day. Joining the symptom spotting train super early this cycle 😂
Argh me too. My Melons are ginormous and my nips need to be free bcus I can't stand them being in a bra or against any material. I've had back ache, cramping, my sinuses are all funky. I think I'm around 8dpo but didn't test. Not sure I can hold off peeing on a stick for much longer.

I’m on CD33 but I definitely think we missed the window. Had family visiting when I got my surge. I’ve decided next month no visitors & we are gonna have to really go for it 😜

Been so absent on here because I've been feeling so poorly. But, the doctors were right in thinking you're more fertile in the 3 months post miscarriage 🥺 I am just praying so hard that this little one sticks as that's always my biggest issue 😣 hope everyone is doing okay.

Fingers crossed for you ❤

So I called my doc again & ive to wait 2 weeks for the AMH levels to come back from the lab. I’ve just bought clear blue ovulation tests now for this months- flipping heck the price of them 🙈😂
