Thank you for all the lovely messages 🥺❤ You’re such a kind group of ladies, I hope you all get your positives soon.

I think it’s only just started to sink in for me, I am only going to really count it as properly real from Thursday I think as that way even if I ovulated later than I thought, my period will be late 🤞🏻 but either way I would normally have started spotting by now and I haven’t so I am taking that as a good sign.

I did do a few things differently this cycle but I don’t know if they helped or if I was just lucky this cycle.
So so happy for you lovely!! ❤

Please feel free to share what you did differently (if you want to!). Ahhh genuinely smiling for you. ☺

Hi everyone,

So I had the vaccine last week and now I am 6 days late. Last time it made my period come early.
No symptoms, but my partner kept on at me to test. I have a night out saturday so I reluctantly did(I hate testing as the negatives make me feel so bad)
And I got my first ever BFP. ❤

I am honestly in total shock. We are at the fertility clinic. My partner has low sperm mobility and I found out a week ago today that I have endometriosis and was devestated.

Its early days and I know anything could happen. I also know this may make some of you feel bad. But I also hope it gives some of you some hope. It's taken 20 cycles and no hint of anything in all that time.

I found out today my SIL is also pregnant. Straight away. It still made me annoyed. Its really unfair. The heartache of TTC had made me decide I didn't want to try next month. But it had already happened ❤

I have a way to go but I hope my news gives you all that hope tonight if any of you are in need of it ❤
This made me tear up. I am so so pleased for you. Got all my fingers crossed for you my darling 🤍🤍🤍🤍

I had my second Covid vaccine yesterday at 5dpo, worried in case I’ve ruined my chances this month as I’ve heard it can mess cycles up!

I posted on here last week thinking I could be pregnant. I am pregnant but I don’t think it’s going to stick I’m having the worst stomach pains 😔. I’ve had a miscarriage before and the pains are exactly the same. I thought about calling Epu but I had such a terrible experience the last time I was there. I haven’t told anyone not even my oh because he’s been working away.
I have gone straight to the EPU when I've had concerns. I find it's just easier as you're only going to get referred by your doctor anyway. You can call tour EPU and book an appointment. As you've already had a MC they'd definitely rather see you sooner rather than later in my experience which was this week lol. Good luck xxxx

Hello!

Dipping my toe into the thread as after lots of serious chats with my boyfriend over the last month or so we are taking the plunge and going to start TTC. I'm on my period atm but then we'll get things going and stop using protection. I've been tracking periods /ovulation since coming off the pill last year so I'll use that as a guide for now and if nowt happens will look into being a bit more precise maybe.

I feel so nervous for some reason, a bit like I'm sitting an exam I've not studied for 😂 I don't know if that's normal or not!
totally normal and I even feel the same about TTC number 2 😂

Hi ladies. I am fairly certain this pregnancy will not be progressing and I will be back with you all shortly, I just wanted to update you all.

I wrote last week that my tests weren’t getting darker and my CB digi was also stying in 1-2 weeks. I’m sad to say that my tests have still not darkened and this morning are nearly negative with very faint lines. CB digi has now said 1-2 weeks for 10 days. I know people say not to look at test darkness but for my tests to have been dark and now be coming back almost negative at 19dpo with multiple brands, it’s not looking good.

My symptoms have faded from last week - I know that means nothing but coupled with the tests, I am feeling fairly certain this will not result in a successful pregnancy.

I am obviously devastated and have spent the whole morning since testing just inconsolable. I never allowed myself to feel too happy as I was sure something was wrong, and I guess I was right. My husband has been so happy though and he is just crushed so I just feel incredibly guilty for his sadness, even though I know there’s nothing I could have done.

I am basically just waiting for the physical symptoms to start, which I’m pretty terrified about to be honest. I’m only 4+5 going by ovulation (or 6+2 from LMP) so I’m hoping it won’t be too physically painful. I have not gone through a loss before so I don’t know what to expect. This would have been our first baby.

I am rambling and I’m sorry for offloading here, but I didn’t tell anyone about the pregnancy and have no one to speak with about it, just feel like l can’t move forward at the moment.
Sending you so much love.

Do you normally have less than 10 days between LH surge/ovulation and your period?

I have been watching some videos from a lady on YouTube who had problems getting pregnant with her second because her luteal phase (the bit between ovulation and your period) was too short, less than 10 days and she saw a doctor and was put on progesterone to help lengthen it to support a pregnancy, she got pregnant her second month after that. (Her yt is that Caitlin stark if you’re interested.)

If it’s just a one off ignore me but if not might be worth looking into and chatting to a dr as they can probably help you straight away without you trying for x amount of time xx
i really thought this was too short myself so thank you for responding. I find the whole TTC thing so confusing at times. Going back over my cycles there and the luteal phase was 13, 13, 9, 7, 13 & 8 days. So a bit over the place but too short half of the times. We have been trying 6 months now& I am almost 36. Called the doctor there to have a chat & see what they think. Thank you so much.

It just made me feel like why am I bothering? Why is even getting some help so hard? I had nurse with my original bloods who was bloody awful as well. Being silly I know.
It said 3-5 days so he didn't for 3 days before he did his sample. So it should be exactly as they want it, however has low morphology so I think it must be true. But then the form wasn't filled in right and they are just like well we don't know how long he went 2 days or 2 weeks?? Weird. After the battle to even get the results as well. Just denied it all. Had to fight to get them. If it was a set answer then fine. But now it's been 2 weeks and still haven't even got another letter for the re test again. I know I'll be upset and fuming about this in a few days when AF comes, maybe I should ring up and complain then😁 actually better not 😂
Thankyou for your lovely message ❤

Baby showers and meet ups are SO hard. I mean I know I'm hard work because I feel terrible if I'm left out, like I'm being punished for not having a baby that I desperately want, yet I also dread going as I don't want to be around babies and pregnancy as it upsets me so much. Such a crazy mix of emotions this journey. And yes the questions make me want to shrivel up. Dependant on where I am in the cycle I can give some words back or otherwise just want to cry!
I do find hearing people getting pregnant by accident, especially after a few weeks like my friend, so hard to take. I've been trying for way longer than they've been together it is SO unfair. But I do the right thing and act happy. Feel like such a bitch. It just hurts doesn't it?
I hope your results are good, I'm sure they will be but fingers crossed. I think results are taking a while, and especially with all the backlog from the last year. I feel so behind on all these tests. X

Also I had my covid jab today. Its all okay when ttc now. Didn't think about my cycle when I booked I'm 11dpo. I have seen online it can delay your period. Oh god I am hoping not. If my period is late it'll mess with my head now! Has anyone had this with the vaccine?
Had no symptoms at all. But now very slight tenderness to boobs and I've got some cramps which is unusual for me now. I guess this is cycle 18 probably getting ready x
I recently saw a friend who started TTC the same time as me, and well I got to see her and her 6 month old baby. As happy as I am for her, I couldn't stop that shadow creeping over thinking 'why couldn't this be me?' It's just so bittersweet. I've turned down a lot of the baby shower invitations. I just can't face it currently. TTC is hard enough without the constant questioning from families.

A part of me actually wants the test to show something! I'm fed up of hearing that everything looks normal when it clearly isn't! I felt like initially I was seen very quickly and had appointments and tests coming out of my ears, but now it feels like it's slowed down massively. I agree, I get so angry when I hear people saying 'we didn't even try!' or people who have abused their bodies and then get pregnant like, how unfair?

I've had both my jabs, but can't really comment on what it did to my cycle as it's so erratic anyway. 1st jab my period was much shorter than normal which is really unusual for me (4 days rather than 7) but that just could be my body being weird, and I had my 2nd one on Monday so that's yet to be seen. xx

Congratulations to all of those with BFPs

Our first cycle of TTC number 2 was a write off because my son brought home norovirus from nursery bang on in my fertile week :ROFLMAO:

I took a digital test and it was positive so I’m taking this as my BFP. I’m in shock because I’ve been prepared by doctors for years to anticipate struggles with falling pregnant due to my endo and I’m so lucky to have ovulated only 3 weeks off the pill.

So just some stats - I ovulated on CD20, I got BFNs on 8 and 9DPO and currently I just have very sensitive boobs and cramps. I got a touch of pale pink spotting but that’s it. I’ll lurk around on this thread a bit longer since I’m nervous about it sticking and just a bit nervy in general but fingers crossed!!
congratulations ❤

Morning everyone,

so I have taken my advanced digital cleanliness this morning and went straight from empty circle to solid static face which means I have reached my peak? However I am only on CD12 and cycles since MC shave been 35-37 days… so isn’t this too early? And I also haven’t had the flashing face?? I have DTF (sorry tmi) Friday, Saturday and will do it tonight. Do you think I’ve covered myself if I have reached my peak this morning? Xx
yes! The peak indicates that in the next 12-24 you’ll likely ovulate, so get in there tonight if you can abs fingers crossed you’ll be good to go! There should be some ‘hanging around’ anyway as I understand they stay in there for a few days ❤ Good luck!!

If you use Premom and read the report after your cycle, it will point out if the luteal phase is too short.

I’m the same age as you, but I would argue i’m more of a cow, because whenever I see someone is ttc after miscarriage, I can’t help the part of my brain that thinks ‘at least you’ve had a positive at least once’. Which, of course, is nonsense and isn’t fair at all.
I dont think you are a cow at all! Its true, least that person has had a shot at it already. Sending lots of love xxx

Hey guys I have posted on here before been trying for quite a few months now. I think I maybe pregnant I’m a week late but just so scared to test. I have 2 girls already and was exactly the same when pregnant with my youngest. My previous pregnancies I have had early symptoms of extreme exhaustion, nausea, headache and hunger but nothing like that yet. I have however been getting the worse stomach cramps so quite concerned I keep expecting my period to turn up that’s why I’m so nervous to take a test.
Please test could be amazing news!❤ Give us an update if you want too xx

I went looking at information on the luteal phase. Ovulating on day 8 would give a long luteal phase and be a symptom of PCOS??? Hopefully you will get some proper answers, I have no idea why my body has suddenly decided to spit out an egg on day 7/8?? My ovaries were scanned a few months back and looked good. Then I always tell myself that I'll book my appointment next month because I might be pregnant already 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ then I never am!!!
My periods are on time, and I’ve never missed one. It was what a website had said. I’m just going to get some ovulation tests I think

I’m currently 11DPO, and have had some symptoms, mostly brain fog and nausea. I decided to do a test today when I got home from work and I know I’m probably clutching at straws but I’m sure I can see a really faint line. It’s definitely more obvious in real life than on a picture, but I feel like it should be darker at this point if I was actually pregnant. I’ll take another test in the morning, but all I’ve ever had before is just a stark negative and I can see a tiny shadow of a line here.

Sorry to jump on this but I had my first jab on 22nd April and my latest period has been so weird? I usually differ slightly each month but this last AF has been so weird!? Very on and off and only 4 days! I didn’t even think to relate it to the jab! Anyone else had issues?
Mine has arrived early (4 days) and I’m usually like clockwork (had jab at the end of last week).
I don't want to put the fear into anyone so I will say my periods have been erratic for a long time so I really cannot put this down to the vaccine.
