I’ve seen so many announcements today 😖

Today is always a struggle for me, but feel like it’s even worse this year. Sending love to anyone who needs it today ❤

Been so absent on here because I've been feeling so poorly. But, the doctors were right in thinking you're more fertile in the 3 months post miscarriage 🥺 I am just praying so hard that this little one sticks as that's always my biggest issue 😣 hope everyone is doing okay.

So I haven't even joined this thread yet but was planning to when I saw it a few days ago during my first 2WW. We just started trying this month.. and.. I can't quite believe it still, but yesterday we got this (estimated 10DPO) 😲🤗

I took the above test this morning with second wee and felt like I saw a tiny line, so got a digital and it’s positive.
My first pregnancy and my boyfriend was so excited it doesn’t feel real I just want to pee on all the sticks to make sure!
What do you even do now 😂

I’m sending so much love, prayers and baby dust to you all! This thread really helps keep you sane and give clarity to each month 💕💕

Hi everyone,

Period came yesterday so I'm cycle 19.
I strangely haven't even cried. Feel a bit numb. Not sure if that's better or worse.
I'm losing hope this will happen for me now, but when your waiting you can't help but still have a little bit inside you.

I wonder if I'll ever feel the joy of my period not coming and taking a test, and seeing two lines for the first ever time. Right now it feels like a far away dream.

Hope you all have a good day girls xx

Hey ladies. Took a break from the thread over the weekend and come back to see there’s a new one! Tried to catch up but it’s difficult 😂 Hoping you’re all doing well.
We’ve decided to ‘stop trying’ for the next while and if it happens it happens. Think I will struggle with that but know it’s for the best. Anyway I just wanted to say I’ve been thinking of all of you ❤

@JLXRD so glad to see you got your positive ovulation result! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Talking to a friend who is currently pregnant about how I got a negative result today and that I'm sad about it and the response i get is "I'm so lucky I caught mine early so I don't have to go through more cycles"...

How insensitive? 🤔

Hi everyone,

As expected my period is starting. I saw a little bit when I last went to the toilet. So I know what I'll see when I next go obviously. Ridiculously I have been holding it in as I just don't want to see it. I don't know why, I knew it would come, I had no doubt, but i know how I'm going to feel still and I'm on the verge of tears already.
Anyone else do silly things like this? I've literally seen a bit of blood, I don't know why Im still hiding from it.
I guess the awful fact that it really isn't happening, so much so I can't even imagine it anymore.
So very soon I know I'll officially be cycle 20.

Never had a hint of anything in those 20 long cycles. Will I ever get to see two lines? My heart is hurting that it could mean i actually may not. All this joy I see other people experience at falling pregnant, an amazing surprise, it happening exactly as planned. There is no joy in TTC. All I know from wanting to be a mum so much is the pain now.

My heart is hurting. This journey is so very hard.

Sorry for bringing the thread down ❤

I took a digital test and it was positive so I’m taking this as my BFP. I’m in shock because I’ve been prepared by doctors for years to anticipate struggles with falling pregnant due to my endo and I’m so lucky to have ovulated only 3 weeks off the pill.

So just some stats - I ovulated on CD20, I got BFNs on 8 and 9DPO and currently I just have very sensitive boobs and cramps. I got a touch of pale pink spotting but that’s it. I’ll lurk around on this thread a bit longer since I’m nervous about it sticking and just a bit nervy in general but fingers crossed!!

Been chatting TTC with my best friend for a few months, she had her coil removed 6 weeks ago and just told me she’s 5 weeks pregnant 🙈 obviously super happy for her but wow! They must have had sex once and conceived straight away! Super lucky.

she made a comment that she hadn’t been tracking or even thinking about it that much, almost like I’m not getting pregnant because I’m over thinking it and stressed 🙄 (I’m not stressed)

Anyway I am stepping back a bit, but I’ll keep popping on to see how you’re all doing and wishing you all the best ✨✨✨

Had a doctors appointment this morning, booked in for a final blood test this afternoon and once the results are back they’re referring me to fertility. I’m so glad something is finally happening and can get the ball rolling 🤞🏼

Had a random phone call from the doctors surgery this evening before they closed. The doctor has requested an appointment for Monday morning to do with “gynaecology results” but I wasn’t expecting any more results. Feeling a bit on edge about it as the receptionist really didn’t have any information only that the doctor had asked her to schedule the appointment.

I feel like I use this thread as a diary sometimes rather than asking an actual question so I’m sorry if that bugs anybody. Feel free to angry react to this is you think I should shut up until I have a question 😬

Argh so after having a miscarriage in november and having some time to recover i fell pregnant again in June and miscarried today unfortunately. I truly am heartbroken as both times i had spotting around 5-6 weeks so as soon as i saw that i just knew, despite having a scan yesterday and was told everything was fine! How many miscarriages is too many? Is it 3 before you get help? Im now extremely petrified it will happen again. The first one was via d&c as it was a missed one. This one was at home naturally. I feel such a failure and i genuinely do not know how people carry on.

I’m still here, still not pregnant!

im also just living my life, and not stopping plans. I can’t live like that! I say yes to everything now, hens/weddings etc

if I’m lucky enough to be pregnant then I will deal with it. I think it’s more depressing to say no, then the date comes around and still no pregnancy! Get in all the fun/ drunk/ crazy times before a baby 🤣

does anyone feel like they have a massive spotlight on their head and a flashing sign saying ‘struggling to concieve’..i get anxiety at the thought of people seeing me that i’ve not seen for a while, i get so depressed at each AF, and even just seeing the ‘pregnancy’ forum title on here winds me up 😁 i feel such a cow. It really does mess with your head and its such a shame as in every other aspect of my life im normally chilled, kind to others etc! I cant stand perri edwards now, and its not even her fault its the envy monster inside me. I had a miscarriage in december and we have been trying since and i promised myself i would just chill and enjoy the freedom but i am petrified i am losing time - i am 32. Is there anyone here the same age or older? I am driving my husband insane:p
Everytime someone announces their pregnancy, I get upset. Every time I see a baby I think ‘why don’t I have one’

Thank you everyone. I feel dizzy as anything but I’m okay. Husband and I have made the decision not to tell anyone until late as possible, purely because we have had losses before and we are still a bit shell shocked. I’m worried about my work; I work 13.5hr shifts in a COVIDICU, but I’m sure I’ll be okay.

Feeling crap today.

Done my 3 week post miscarriage pregnancy test as they requested and it’s still positive. A faint one but definitely there, looks like the first few tests I did when I found out. The bleeding had finally stopped so I really thought there wouldn’t be a line. I’m in isolation so can’t do anything anyway but if it’s still positive next week I’ll have to ring the EPU and I really don’t want to have to go back 😔

I just feel shit. Like it’s never ending and I can’t move forward until it’s over. Don’t even know if this makes any sense. I just need a moan.

Hello!

Dipping my toe into the thread as after lots of serious chats with my boyfriend over the last month or so we are taking the plunge and going to start TTC. I'm on my period atm but then we'll get things going and stop using protection. I've been tracking periods /ovulation since coming off the pill last year so I'll use that as a guide for now and if nowt happens will look into being a bit more precise maybe.

I feel so nervous for some reason, a bit like I'm sitting an exam I've not studied for 😂 I don't know if that's normal or not!

Thanks again all ♥

This morning I’ve started bleeding. I am so very sad but I was prepared that this would happen.

I had a breakdown yesterday on a meeting as I was already muted and sobbing, then a close colleague announced her pregnancy and started talking about baby clothes she was buying. I had to dial off. I’ve taken today off work and will probably take tomorrow too.

The worst bit was waking up this morning and having that brief moment where I felt okay, and then remembering what was happening. It’s like having the realisation all over again. Also just having to get rid of the pregnancy apps on my phone, the pictures we took of us happy with the positive test - seeing how happy we were is just so sad.

I feel like I have taken that happiness from my husband. He cried with happiness when the test was positive and now he’s never going to have that moment again because he knows it won’t always end how you hope. I can’t help but feel guilt for that. I know that it’s not my fault, but it’s so hard.
