So I’m officially out, 34 day cycle with my LH surge 8 days ago. I knew this month was no good as we DTD at all the “wrong” times for ovulation so glad my periods here & off we go on another month.

It's exhausting, always the first thing I think of in the morning and what keeps me awake at night, period due in 5 days, the wait is agony

Do you normally have less than 10 days between LH surge/ovulation and your period?

I have been watching some videos from a lady on YouTube who had problems getting pregnant with her second because her luteal phase (the bit between ovulation and your period) was too short, less than 10 days and she saw a doctor and was put on progesterone to help lengthen it to support a pregnancy, she got pregnant her second month after that. (Her yt is that Caitlin stark if you’re interested.)

If it’s just a one off ignore me but if not might be worth looking into and chatting to a dr as they can probably help you straight away without you trying for x amount of time xx

i really thought this was too short myself so thank you for responding. I find the whole TTC thing so confusing at times. Going back over my cycles there and the luteal phase was 13, 13, 9, 7, 13 & 8 days. So a bit over the place but too short half of the times. We have been trying 6 months now& I am almost 36. Called the doctor there to have a chat & see what they think. Thank you so much.

If you use Premom and read the report after your cycle, it will point out if the luteal phase is too short.

I use Premom but never seen or got a report before?
If you click where I’ve circled it will show you the report screen x

Edit: there was a screenshot here but I deleted it after the user found the button cos yenno.. it had my TTC info on it top secret

Hi ladies?

If I have had my static smiley this cycle, do I not test again until next cycle?

Yeah that’s correct, if you’re using the purple clearblue it will stay on there for 48 hours then go blank until you first test next cycle and you can use the same holder again.

The pink clearblue ones you still don’t need to test now until next cycle too but you don’t need to keep the holder.

Well that’s my referral for the sub fertility clinic in. I’m grateful for my GP taking me seriously and not fobbing me off this time, having said that she wasn’t able to give me any sort of timeframe for hearing from them so who knows how long I’ll be waiting
Probably wishful thinking but maybe I’ll have fell before hearing back from them

Best of luck to you! Not sure what area you are in but I was seen about a month later after my referral was done. Everything afterwards has been super speedy! But fortunately my cycles have lined up for a lot of things.

I have an ultrasound booked tomorrow morning first thing to lee if the Letrozole has done its job so we can actually DTD

Hi everyone,

Period came yesterday so I'm cycle 19.
I strangely haven't even cried. Feel a bit numb. Not sure if that's better or worse.
I'm losing hope this will happen for me now, but when your waiting you can't help but still have a little bit inside you.

I wonder if I'll ever feel the joy of my period not coming and taking a test, and seeing two lines for the first ever time. Right now it feels like a far away dream.

Hope you all have a good day girls xx

thank you, I’m in central Scotland so thankfully I can be seen by Glasgow & Edinburgh clinics dependant on who has more availability.AF has been non existent for me the whole of 2021 so that might slow me down I’m not sure.

I hope your ultrasound goes well tomorrow And enjoy your evening afterwards if it has lol

Well I am either 1dpo, 2dpo or 3dpo depending on which of the 3 apps I use I look at ( all which have the same info ).

Compared with last month I feel a lot more chill though which is nice. I’ve relaxed a bit so maybe a bit less stressing will help.
