This is the only one that I can think of at the moment:
In 2004 my sister had a stillbirth. The next night, I woke up to the sound of a baby crying really loudly in the next room (the nursery). When I went into the nursery Nobody was in there.

Three hours after I posted this I heard a very loud crash downstairs. I went down to see what had happened and I found a framed photo of my other niece on the wooden floor after it had fallen off of the shelf.

That’s so upsetting.

I’m sorry for your family’s loss x

Sorry this is a little off topic, has anyone watched the new Netflix documentary on the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier? Sophie was a lady from Paris who had a little holiday getaway in West Cork, Ireland.

She went for a walk past some old ancient Castle ruins. Local legend was that the castle was haunted by a white lady and if you ever saw her it meant you were going to die in the hours that followed. Sophie returned from her walk and called her family in France terrified because she’d seen this infamous ghost of the woman dressed in white appear in front of her at the castle. She was murdered that evening.

Sophie’s friend also says in the documentary that a clairvoyant had predicted her murder. The clairvoyant pointed to a framed photo of Sophie and said that lady is going to have a violent death when she’s 40.

The rest of the documentary focuses on the investigation into her murder but thought I’d share in case anyone is interested.

I’ve got quite a few, mostly around my Nana who died when I was 11. I'll put a few here.

When she was dying she was in a bed in the living room, my big sister & a lot of family were with her (I’d been sent to school). My sister told me the phone kept ringing but every time she answered it it was just the normal line noise. As my Nana died she sat up bolt upright (she’d not moved sort from nurses turning her in weeks) stretched out her arms and said *name*. Lay back & died. The name was that of my brother who’d died as a toddler in the 80s.

Nana had a clock that chimed Westminster Chimes every hour, grandad hated it so she rarely wound them. After they died we put it in our house. It kept stopping at the time she died and would keep chiming. My mum got fed up & put it in the shed.
Fast forward 25 yrs & I have a son who LOVES clocks so mum gives me Nana’s clock. Sure enough it randomly chimes. So I put it in the loft. I keep hearing the chimes. In the end I go “Nana will you give over!?” They stopped. Not heard them since.

Little things would go missing after searching high and low “Nana can you give it back?” Said item would turn up in the middle of the floor 😂

I find it comforting she’s still around.

Not had much from my grandad apart from the people who moved into their house asking if someone had died there. As they’d seen a tall man at the top of the stairs. He’s died in hospital (5 days after nana) but HATED anyone who wasn’t family going upstairs so I think he was just annoyed at them lol

So much of this sounds like experiences I've had over the years particularly the disappearance of random stuff that reappears a while later, my grandfather also died a few days after Grandma such was his grief at her loss he was broken with no will to continue without her, but I did not think my Guest was my Grandad because my son who saw him told me the old man's name and it was not my Grandad's name or anything like it. In fact my other Grandfather whose "pet" name it actually is was still alive at that time thus it was not likely to be Him. It intrigues me who this spirit is who comes everywhere with me :)

I should not be reading this thread at night. I'm locked in my little office at work(I work in a hospital) and the past few hours on and off I have been hearing these growling noises. I just heard it really loud and someone just proper pounded on the door. tit me right up, I looked out the peephole but there isnt anyone there. I think its a patient gone walkies....this office freaks me out at night as it is.

ive often found if I’m scared ill say clearly and loudly ‘your presence is making me feel uneasy. Please stop what you are doing’ and it usually helps❤

I heard this kind of noise the other day when I was working at my kitchen table…never heard it before and I’ve been here 3 years now…almost like a hissing sound?? Spooky 😰

This sounded like a wild animal mixed with a seagull, I thought it was a bird at first as the window is open but the bashing of the door along with it tells me its not a seagull. My heart is racing, I rang security to ask if they have a patient missing from the wards but they said no. It's not the first time someone has tried getting in this office.

I used to live on a fairly old house with some activity, a friend stayed over in one of the unused rooms and ended up running into my room after about 20 minutes losing her her tit because she heard someone gasping loudly right into her ear. The cats all avoided that room too, come to think of it.

I hope the rest of your night wasn’t too bad after that!

My now husband and I went on a last minute trip to Amsterdam about 10 years ago now I’d say. Booked up this hotel, was pretty large pretty spectacular felt pretty shiny and new with the decor. Although it had 80s the shining vibes of you get what I mean 😂
We were there a few nights, the tv would turn on randomly and wouldn’t switch off during the night but there was nothing on the actual screen. Walking up and down the corridor we heard someone coming up behind us so stepped aside to let them pass. No one was there.
turns out it was a converted hospital!

Not so much much ghostly but very strange
Two days ago I said to my husband ‘shall we watch man on fire?’
Love Denzel Washington especially in this film 😍
Anyway we couldn’t find it and watched a different film
This morning man on fire is in our recent recordings
I didn’t do it and my husband has swore blind he didn’t record it either and I know when he is mucking about or being serious
So maybe a ghost did record it for me or sky really do listen into your conversations 😂

Not really ghost related but similar to what some other people have said.

My granny is 86 and we think is getting ready to ‘go’ if you know what I mean. She lost her husband very young and has never really got over it. She has always, and still does, tear up when she speaks of him. She also told us years ago that before her own mum died, she used to say her late husband would come and visit her, as if he was coming to bring her with him.

Then a few weeks ago my granny said she went out to her kitchen and noticed a man staring through the conservatory window at her. Just staring. She said she hid for a while but he stayed there for an hour or so. She said it looked like it was my grandad.

There have been a few occasions over the last few years when she’s nearly died from various things and we were sure she wouldn’t make it but always did. We think she’s been waiting for him. It’s probably all in her head, but maybe now she’s ready. It’s sad, but I know it will bring her comfort to think she’s going to be with him again.
