I've had 4 psychic readings. Two were spot on. I recorded one of them on my phone and listened back to it years later to find that we are now living in the exact house she described we would be. Maybe she put the ideas in my head to influence the decision who knows?! She knew that I'd had a miscarriage and also told me id have a daughter born in August 4 years from then, which I did. I was incredibly close to my nan and she has never come through to talk to me which I find strange. Sorry more clairvoyant experience rather than ghosty/psychic!

I would like a psychic reading, never had one but a couple of friends went to one together years back and she told them about relatives that had passed and also predicted a couple of things in detail.

Has anyone ever visited a spiritualist church? I remember someone going years ago and they were told their guardian Angel was with them. I’ve always been intrigued but never visited one. Also psychics- or is that another thread altogether?

i went to a funeral at one. A family member used to go regularly and it was their funeral.It didn't actually realise it was kind of a Christian Faith but with mediums. The service was conducted by one of member's. Wierd to say but as funerals go i have to say it was the nicest one ive ever been too. It was warm and personal and i found it very comforting.
They did talk about the relative coming through to someone in the church but not sure how real I think its.
Couple of friends and partners went to one years ago..one willing, one just going along for something to do. The girl who really wanted to go (who was having fertility problems) got nothing but the friends who just went along he got a message through from uncle telling him to stop driving his car around with that dodgy back tyre! He was always driving old bangers round barely road worthy with his kids in it..
It did actually scare him enough to get his car sorted!

My sister did, years ago, with a friend.

She (my sister) went in completely skeptical and disengaged… she was there for her friend and saw it as a bit of weeknight entertainment.

That was until the person leading the session kept referencing a black and white dog running through a field of red. He continued asking if that image meant anything to anybody in the audience, but moved on when no one stepped forward to claim it.

My sister had been too shocked to raise her hand. The previous week, our family border collie (complete with black and white fur) had died and we’d scattered her ashes… in a field of poppies.

To this day I wish my sister had said something.

Aw this breaks my heart, I have a collie and she is the love of my life, the thought of one day not having her brings tears to my eyes xx

there used to be a show called Fact or Faked and there was a group of photography and film and paranormal experts who would take pictures and videos off the internet and investigate if they were real or not. It was really good! Sometimes they would debunk them and other times find no explanation! Wish it was still on! This reminded me of it as it’s similar to the type of things they’d investigate

Not really a ghost story as such but after my grandads funeral I saw a dragonfly flying around the crematorium. I’m having a hard time emotionally the past few weeks and went to the dr yesterday and on my way home saw a dragonfly and it wasn’t near water or anything. Probably nothing but I always seem to see various animals when I’m feeling particularly sad

I was once sat on a train and a very old lady came and sat opposite me at the other side of the table, say late 80s or so. She just said she was psychic and did I know what that meant. I said I did and she said who's gay then? I said that's me. She said that I told my family at age 23 and that I was planning to go to Australia by myself later that month. That was all correct. I thought thats pretty good for guessing really. LOL. She said that she was one of the main ones at the spiritualist church and that they called her the lady with 2 hearing aids!!. It was a bit random really.

Yes, I go to one that's held once a month at a women's centre (although men are welcome too).

I'm incredibly spiritual and started going as I thought it would be a great way to meet likeminded people; it's certainly done that. A lot of time is spent going around the circle, contributing what we each feel we want to at that time. There are a couple of "frequent flyers" who just pop in, in the hope of a free reading without contributing anything, which is a tad annoying as it slows everything down, sometimes meaning we don't all get our turn (a couple of us feel that way but nobody's brave enough to speak up).

The evenings go so, so quickly ... we meet from 7-9pm which never feels long enough.

When experiencing something similar, I look up, "dragonfly spirit animal" to see what it means. It's no coincidence you see these animals at various times.

Weirdly I’ve had something similar happen to me recently with butterflies. It’s not related to a death but the last two times I’ve seen them they’ve followed me. One came in my hallway and I had to walk back out the front door for it to fly away. The next time was at the weekend when it followed me on a walk for at least 2 minutes.

Often people say that white feathers are a sign. I wonder if wildlife is too?

I like to think this too. Our elderly cats passed away within 12 days of each other and shortly afterwards 2 robins started visiting us together, one large and one small and thin - just like my two cats! Could be coincidence but we only ever saw one robin in all our time living here. The large one sat on the lawnmower handle when my husband was mowing the grass - he was her favourite person

I went to a pub on a night out and a woman I've never met before started chatting to me and eventually told me my Grandmother was there.She told me several things which were very personal, secret and correct. My OH and I were going through a terrible time and she told me we would be okay, which we are. I never saw the woman again.

I used to live in a haunted cottage there was a really nice presence that you just caught by smell and a really oppressive one. Things flew off the shelf house sitters refused to stay again after they saw boots in front of them up the stairs. Furniture would be dragged a huge black shadow would move along a back wall . There was a cellar and some days the atmosphere was so thick you couldn’t go down there. A cat was seen . Hair would raise on the back of your neck , doors would lock them selves from the inside.

Many years ago on a very wet & windy night, me & a friend were walking back from the gym to my house to watch a horror film & you had to walk past a creepy old graveyard to get there, the roads were silent. It was pitch black & the only source of light was from the torch on our phones, as we were approaching the graveyard i dared him to go in & walk to the end & back just to see if he wasn’t a chicken. The perfect way to get us in the horror film mood! He agreed but only if i went with him, so off we went making eachother jump on the way. After a good 10 minutes of messing around, we decided to leave & as we were heading towards the gate, something told me to look over my left shoulder so of course i did. I couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw a bright flickering flame from a pillar candle, completely unbothered by the wind & rain. It certainly wasn’t alight when we walked in, my friend absolutely tit himself & grabbed me out of there. For some reason I didn’t feel scared, i was so curious I went back the next morning to investigate & it was a grave of a little boy, 8 years old, i still get goosebumps thinking about it!

Oh that reminds me. On a work jolly to the far north of Scotland, the hotel was next to a graveyard. A few of us were in the bar and decided to go on a midnight walk round the graveyard. The barmaid quite seriously warned us not to. Nothing untoward except the shadow (it was a bright, full moon) of a large tree against the white church wall, leaves blowing in the breeze. There were no trees whatsoever nearby. We all saw it and it was all we could speak about next day.
