I shouldn’t have read this thread before bed, I won’t want to switch the light off
I’ve always been afraid of the idea of ghosts but sceptical that they are actually real, if that makes sense.
however back 10 years ago now when I still lived with my parents in my old box room (there was a very narrow walk space between my bed and my wardrobe. It had been my bedroom all my life and I never felt uneasy or had any scary experiences in the bedroom or house before) I definitely had a visitor.
I heard and felt the presence of someone walking down the narrow walk space towards were my head was on the pillow and felt them standing over me. I could hear the breathing also.
I would have opened my eyes and looked to see who it was but I knew the door hadn’t opened so none of family could have walked in.
I just pulled my quilt over my head and wished for it to go away and never had anything else happen since.
My dad was a nurse and when he worked in night shifts in an old hospital back in the 80s early 90s he said there was all sorts of paranormal activity going on. He’d have a nap during his break and be woken up by people tapping him and no one would be there and patients would ask who the nurse was they just saw and describe old fashioned nurse uniform.
my MIL on two occasions has seen a grey WW2 style plane flying down low as though about to land and then it disappears (Lancashire) and when we looked it up there had been other reports of sightings of a ghost plane of similar description that is flying too low and then disappears.
I find it all terribly fascinating and terrifying at the same time
