I reckon if anywhere was the place for professionals to look for paranormal stuff, a hospital would be the ideal place! The last junction between life and death, I’m convinced theres some as yet unknown phenomenon that happens that is responsible for paranormal experiences!
I went into a room at work the other day and the lights kept dimming! It had been tested recently and hadn’t been doing that prior to a few days ago!
I find it so fascinating but spooky!

I’m looking to move but I’m worried I’ll move somewhere with a horrible atmosphere like my previous house.. That house felt sad and depressing the second I stepped foot in the door and I always felt watched. My blood used to run cold on the stairs and on the landing close to the bathroom.
The house I’m in now felt light and airy and instantly like home but after a hard few months I’m starting to associate it with bad memories. It makes me wonder if houses really do absorb feelings.

I had this problem with my last house, it was a sad house, there was definitely someone/something there and when I found out my husband had cheated the house turned into chaos literally overnight. It was as if we couldn’t breathe there anymore. Kitchen cupboards would open, things would fly off the shelves, countless things would move. It was actually scary. I’d make sure we we’re out all day every day and just go to sleep there.

Mines like a dark shadow figure with an overwhelming sense of evil about it. I know it’s a male even though I can’t see them properly.

I’m probably late to the party here but I found some videos on tiktok about people asking the date and time in dreams when they’re lucid dreaming. I lucid dream quite often but not constantly. At first I was tempted to try this but when I watched more videos about people who have tried this I came across one of a lady saying not to try it as we can bring back entities from other planes. I’m so intrigued by it. Most of the videos I watched people said when they asked the date and time the atmosphere of the dream changed and some said they were told they can’t ask that here, or they didn’t get an answer. Other people said they were told the date and time but it was wrong. And they started questioning that it was wrong.
anyone here tried this? Want to try this? I’m so tempted tbh!!
Don’t see why not as they’re only dreams. Since looking at astral projection subreddits, I’ve realised many people mix up astral projection with lucid dreaming. Sounds like that’s what happening with those TikTok’s also.

I actually lucid dreamed a couple of days ago. I did think to ask the time and date and as soon as I thought it I woke up!

I've had a few experiences of the ghostly kind.....
My first that I actually remember myself was when I was about 15 and I was just laid in bed winding down ready to go to sleep for school the next day. I suddenly heard a very strange voice that I can only every describe as half human, half robotic/mechanical and it simply said "hello". The voice literally moved across my ceiling as it spoke and I was so scared I was frozen and couldn't move for what was probably a few seconds but felt like an age. As soon as I could move, I ran downstairs to my dad and told him what had happened. He brushed it off and said it was probably the TV or voices outside so I didn't think much of it and just went back to bed. But a few weeks later my dad brought it up to me and said just before I had come running downstairs, the living room had suddenly turned icy cold and the dog was alerted to something and was looking around the room. He said he hadn't told me at the time as he didn't want to scare me more. He did some door knocking on the neighbours and the family next door had 2 young children, one was a baby still in a cot. They told him that often they would hear him crying on the baby monitor so would be just about to go upstairs to him and then they would hear singing over the monitor and it calmed him down and never did any harm so they were not worried about it. From the stories my dad was told, it sounded like there was an old lady who used to live on the block of flats and she loved children. So I suppose after she passed she hung around and interacted with the children on the estate.

A few years ago, I was going through a very tough time due to an abusive relationship and I was separated from this individual but I was very unwell mentally and very depressed. One morning, I woke up and I couldn't move. I know about sleep paralysis etc but then something stroked the back of my head. I didn't have an unpleasant feeling about it and I am of the tendency to be very freaked out by paranormal activities. Not long after it stroked my head, my body was released and I could move again. I always had this feeling inside that whatever it was, was giving me comfort and telling me everything was going to be ok in that small gesture of stroking my head.

Finally, just under 3 years ago now, I was laying on my bed looking at Facebook on my phone. My now partner had added me as a friend about 3 months before this incident (we were in the same year at school) but neither of us had reached out to the other. He had just liked a few of my pictures and posts. I was just gazing at his profile picture when I heard a voice say "message him". I didn't think anything about it... I thought maybe it was an internal voice or whatever. But the more I look back on it I know it was an external voice speaking to me. Anyway I did message him and we got talking and he told me his nan had passed away a couple of days before so he was on his way to Ireland for her funeral. Since then, I have been very convinced that it was his nan who told me to message him. And if it wasn't her, then whoever it was knew that it was meant for us because we are now engaged. I have huge faith in that encounter, because despite the ups and downs of our relationship, we always weather the storm and I have faith that whatever it was that encouraged me to reach out to him would not have done that if the relationship was not meant to be.

My parents told me when I was little I used to scream blue murder about going in the bathroom and said I could see a dead woman in the bath. Turns out a woman had some kind of aneurysm in the bathroom and fell and hit her head and died in that house.

Spooky!!

What I find fascinating is how we don't 100% know whether we have an internal voice telling us things or an external voice. Is our own intuition actually someone guiding us? Or when we think we hear a Paranormal voice, is it just imagination? It amazes me that even in this day and age we sort of have circumstancial evidence of paranormal but not concrete proof, or at least enough to make it an immutable fact. I believe if humans can exist, trees, animals, water etc then there's no reason why ghosts and energirs can't exist, yet it's still such a mystery and inconstant experience.

Blows my mind. I watched Sixth Sense the other week and that blew my mind too.

Any more stories?
I had a shift the other week and me and my coworker felt so uneasy all night. My coworker is someone who never gets scared at all and she was terrified - felt really on edge! We were in one room and we heard a cough-type noise. It wasn’t us and wasn’t anyone else as they were all sleeping at the time. The doors kept making a banging noise even though no-one went through them, and all the windows and doors were locked. I went around to check all windows and doors to double check.

All in all it was a weird night!

not a ghost story! But does anyone think you can dream your ancestors memories or bits of their lifes?
100%. ever since I was little I have a very boring recurring dream where I’m a single mum and I have a little girl and we live in Palm Springs California (I live in Australia) and I know every detail from all our furniture down to what our pyjamas are etc. It feels like a memory not a dream.

Sorry I misunderstood what you meant. Mine is like from a different life that’s not mine.
But I also think what you’ve said is true. I also think we can inherit non-genetic traits/instincts like I HATE escalators with a passion and avoid them as much as possible, they really disorient me, so does going down normal stairs, so did my grandmother and apparently her mother and grandmother hated going down stairs (but were fine with walking upstairs) also.

I’ve always dreamt of New York where I’m at the side of the river but not in our times I feel as if it’s In the 1800s. And I know if u went to New York id know exactly where I dream about! I have ancestors that went over there from Ireland in the potato famine

I was alone at home one night with my little boy. After we went to bed, I was restless and uneasy, and he arrived in my bedroom asking if he could get in to bed beside me as he felt very afraid and couldn't get to sleep. Of course I said yes. I lay in the dark hoping he would nod off, suddenly there was a loud pitiful human whimper from the corner of the room. I was absolutely terrified, and I stayed ultra quiet, not wanting to disturb my little boy. However, he immediately declared ' What was THAT mummy?!'. There was no explanation for this. We were on the third floor of the house, with no adjoining neighbours. Anyway the voice was in our room. I should say that i learned the next day that my beautiful Mum, who was in dementia facility, had become very ill and sadly died.
I do believe the crying was some kind of 'warning' of what was to come. I will never forget it.

That's really creepy, me and my mum always hear each other speak in the house when we haven't spoken. My auntie also called my mum and she had her on loud speaker and she started speaking to me as if I was there and my mum was like 'who you speaking too?' and she was like '*my name*??' and my mum was like 'she's not here, it's just me!' and my auntie was like wtf I swore I heard her say hello to me?? So strange how that stuff happens!

I’ve said it before on here but this sounds like ‘exploding head syndrome’. I get it as well but it’s not spooky (bloody seems like it though)

I’ve been re-reading the previous thread and scared the hell out of myself 😂

I was walking down the corridor in work the other night and I had the horrendous feeling that I was being watched/followed. Creepy!
