I always feel weird on that street too apparantly it’s built on ley lines or could be the energy from the underground train line maybe
That could be a reason! I always feel at my most unusual by the Burger King 👑

Has anyone who has listened to the uncanny podcast seen the photos from ep 12 of season 2 "the ghost that followed us home". Just wondering what others make of them
I personally got the creeps with that picture! Not sure what others think, but it’s really skeletal 😬

Oh my god! Yeah, I think the reason I was chilled about staying there was the reported ghosts all seemed pretty benign 😅 even so, I’m glad it was daylight when my boy piped up that there’d been a ghostly lady in the room, and not the middle of the night!
Yeah, nothing was at all scary or dramatic but still didn't fancy coming face to face with one. That's so weird! How creepy, but sweet. Did you see the weird thing in the dining room? The wax child dummy thing?

Back in the early 90's, through work, I had to go to Friern Hospital in Colney Hatch, London. It was a an old Victorian Asylum and had previously been known as Conley hatch Lunatic Asylum. I went there a few times when it was operation and I always found it a creepy place. It has the longest corridor in Europe.

Anyway, the place closed in 1993 and stood empty awaiting development. I was called there because there was some structural issues and I was to meet a colleague there and the security man. It was one of those early winters evening at about 4.30 so getting dark. I got there and couldn't see anyone but the main door was open. I went inside and started walking through looking for the security guy. I walked through a couple of corridors and past some offices .I didn't get very far when I was just so overcome with an urge to get out that I literally ran back outside. A really weird sense of forbodding came over me. I didn't see anything but It was just so creeped out I literally ran back to my car. It just felt very dark inside there.

The main building is still there and it was turned into luxury apartments that had various celebs live in them from time to time but I would never in a million years have bought one. the residual energy in that building must be off the scale.

I love help my house is haunted, how much is exaggerated is anyones guess, but the celeb episode with Marnie Simpson from Geordie Shore was really creepy. The episode with Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen was interesting and quite beautiful actually, although it would scare me if it was my house 😂
I saw one yesterday that’s in an old theatre/school - was quite creepy!

Omg - I worked in the same building/ as Barri Ghai for years (the council). Haha! I remember everyone was like he’s a part time ghost hunter! This was a few years ago

No not really! But I believe in ghosts / everything spiritual, but nothing personally
Maybe a door has opened for you; you might start to experience more now.

Something similar has happened to me when I was younger, around 14 so over 20 years ago, I think we were staying at a friends house for a sleepover birthday party and it was down near the beach… we were running around the streets at night being annoying teenagers playing knock and run then a group of us were running off and we ran straight into this ghostly like figure of a fisherman. We screamed and ran home 😂
Omg is honestly probably cry 🤣

Did anyone watch Uncanny last night at 9pm on BBC2? It was quite good, and they were investigating a ghost known as Miss Howard? It's a 3 part series, and next week's episode is about a poltergeist. I believe last night's episode is now on iPlayer.
Thanks for heads up. Didn't pay any attention to it, so will give it a watch.

I also don't think that she would have been able to move a heavy wardrobe and put it in front of her bedroom door
I said the same thing! Who just casually moves a wardrobe in front of a door each time you go into your room?!

Super interested to read about people's experiences with 'Hat Man,' it reminds me of a super scary book called 'Heart Shaped Box,' written by Stephen Kings son (cannot for the life of me remember his name!!!) wondering if the main character was based upon this!
Oh I’ve read heart shaped box, I thought it was good but not too scary! It takes a lot for me to be scared though 😂
