Tipping isn’t really a thing here. I’m a tattooist and I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve been tipped and even then it’s only a few £. So yeah, £20 is a pretty decent tip tbf.
You’re right though, it did sound like a brag, especially as she mentioned the price of the tattoo for ‘transparency’

Oh you mean you'd have a holiday not focussed entirely on eating massive amounts of the same food you could have stayed home and got? Chips ffs. She had chips and burgers for her tea - in fkn Dubai! If you're going to fly 8 hours to have a holiday, try trying some of the local cuisine. Or just stay home and do the all you can eat buffets. Save the greenhouse emissions.

I had to stop watching it was far too dull but they had a cocktail by the pool, bitched about how much it cost and ate again. (Pizza, chips and fish fingers - oh and sushi because nothing says "I'm in the Middle East" like sushi, does it?) Sorry but it's making me feel queasy to watch them stuff their greasy maws with shite food and not have a single experience one could call unique to the part of the world they've yammered on about being thrilled to visit again.

Has anyone else noticed how much weight she’s put on? In her latest tiktok when she was waddling about, dramatising her knee tattoo she looked huge in comparison to previous videos. Her face looks puffy and unhealthy too although that could be all the filler she’s pumped into it. Also, what’s the deal with her tik tok, she’s incredibly judgmental and mean on it, more so than she is in her yt vids.

I've been watching her on and off since 2016 and it's crazy how different she looks. She used to be fairly slim, I think now she's in her 30s her lifestyle is catching up with her. She's slowly morphing into her bff Yasmin.

I think she has really erratic sleeping patterns, she's said a few times that she doesn't go to sleep till 4/5/6am. This is going to mess up your eating habits/ mental health really quickly. From what I can see she lives on Uber eats, fast food, nandos ect (all of which you're gonna crave like crazy if you're sleep deprived).

I dunno, I used to like her content (despite not having/wanting tattoos myself) but her videos have got so boring. I mean half an hour talking about her knee tattoo when vlogging the actual day would have been far more interesting imo!

I know this hasn’t been posted on in a while but ive just found it and it’s been interesting to read - I initially found Lauren a bit grating and couldn’t put my finger on why, but she’s actually grown on me now I’ve watched more of her videos and feel like I understand her a bit more. I totally agree with the white saviour complex thing though, and that she has a lot of opinions that aren’t necessarily right lol

Another thing I don’t like is that she actively recognises when she’s being hypocritical in a video, but continues to make the point anyway? Not sure

Anyone see the latest vid of the Halloween room decorating.
She actually did a little giggle/smirk when she mentioned that the queen had died the day previously.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m by no means a royalist and I have no feelings either which way about the death of the queen as I believe royal family are incredibly flawed (but that’s a debate for another day!), however, to publically laugh/giggle/smirk or smile when mentioning the death of anyone just seems extremely crass and disrespectful to me. Not just to the royal family (who again, I have my own my views on that I shan’t go into here) but to the uk/hew viewers as a whole, because no matter what your opinion on the queen, it boils to down to an old lady, mother, grandmother, an actual human being has died and there’s a hell of a lot of the country in mourning right now.
I don’t know, just seemed a little gross to me, and would have done regardless of who’s death she’d have been mentioning with that stupid smirk on her face.
I guess it proves her level of intelligence though, that whatever her views on the queen may be, a degree of empathy wouldn’t have gone amiss!

Oh absolutely, they shouldn’t be copying. But I’m not sure what Lauren hopes to achieve by making such a drama out of a tattoo that was done 4yrs ago. She could approach the situation in a much kinder manner than basically slating someone all over the internet.
Like messaging the tattooist privately and making them aware of who originally did the tattoo. She’d said they credited the orginal artist after she called them out, but implied that still wasn’t good enough.
In all honesty, other than crediting the original artist (who they perhaps didn’t know of in the first place to credit them), I’m not sure what she wants the tattooist to do. They can’t untattoo the tattoo.
She just seems desperate to make unnecessary drama out of things and some kind of white knight of the tattoo community and it’s pretty cringey they way she goes about taking the moral high ground.

Yeah, one of her minions in her fb group had a tattoo done by Grace Neutral and it apparently turned out to be a copy or something. So it was posted all over the internet, and the drama in Lauren’s fb group was wild. Poor Grace was getting slated to high heaven, death threats and all sorts. But Lauren, the advocate for tattoo copying being reprehensible, didn’t say a word ok the matter despite being tagged repeatedly in posts about it. Presumably because she gets tattooed at Graces studio and didn’t want to rock the boat with her. So hypocritical considering she’s bangs on like a broken record and makes videos calling out other tattooists if they do a tattoo that’s in any way similar to someone else’s. She’s such a sad arselicker.

Yeah I got jumped on by her sheep cause I got a tattoo copy, and banned for the group even when I tried to state my case, they are a bunch of bullies. Even thought at the time I was really hurt, and my mental health suffered I don’t care now and still love my tattoo and the mean behind getting it done. So fuck you lauren and your bullying posse!

also the fact she literally shits on peoples tattoos because they're not her style? i have TONS of crappy little tattoos i got when i was younger, but i don't regret a single one of them - if someone were to post it on their YT and scoff, i'd be more than pished off every tattoo i have is just a memory

I mean, I don’t think there’s anything wrong her (or anyone else) covering themselves in tattoos until they run out of skin if that’s what they want to do. She does come across as only getting herself heavily tattooed because she desperately wants to look/be cool though. She needs to realise that being heavily tattooed isn’t a personality trait because she seems to revolve her life around it.

Exactly this. I am visibly tattooed. It’s not being “quirky” or “alternative” like it used to be. But she acts like she’s part of some niche group and bases her whole personality and life around it.

What would really be interesting is for her to say that she is not getting tattooed for an entire year and then see how long she manages to provide “content” outside of endless tiktok reactions.

so the idea is that it relaxes the muscle so you can burp and you will then gain muscle memory so when the Botox wears off you can still do it.

the results vary and one of the problems with it not yet being a recognised condition by large health bodies like the NHS is the lack of funding to track the success rates. And also the earliest patients will only have had 3 years max since having it done. So yeah there’s a chance a lot of people will need repeat visits throughout their lives at a large personal cost.

I'm sorry you're going through that. Disgraceful what our NHS won't treat these days.

Obviously although Lauren's annoying it's not something I'd wish on her or ever question as being genuine. I still think she eats like a toddler whose mum's left her alone for the day though and just on a general health principle she needs to take a good long look at her grocery list.

I don’t necessarily agree with that, I know a lot of people who have got tattooed later in life and it looks fantastic. I think it’s more when you’re past 50 and there are external factors like possibly needing different medications and skin getting thinner that it might not be as easy to get tattooed. But I think when you’re older you also are more likely to take better care of your skin and be more mindful of it.

Anyone remember the drama with that over her ‘I hate tattoos’ top being an almost identical copy to the merch of a popular tattoo studio. One that had been posted (with pics of the top in question) in her group a few months before. A studio she knew of and blatantly copied, despite her preaching on and being so against tattoo copying .
if I remember correctly, the studio/artist (and multiple other people) that designed the original called her out on it on insta and she tried saying it wasn’t a copy because the font she’d used was ever so slightly different.
