Saw Rob & Jake at a gig last week. Rob struts about like he’s a rockstar. Jake was lovely and seemed down to earth

I agree the content is getting samey, they’ve probably got all this year planned out but if I were them would just do Leeds and Download next year, film them as they’re the ones they seem to like best then find something else to do other than festivals, if that’s possible? Mary is a bit out of hand when she’s drunk and shouldn’t be wandering around on her own in that state.

Totally agree about Mary but they’ve said on the pod they just leave her because she’s an adult which is all kinds of wrong.
I don’t even think they enjoy Leeds & Download that much either anymore. I’m sure they’re skipping Download this year for another festival and I’m just praying they don’t do a Leeds split camp video like last year.

From the sounds of this weeks pod those of us on here sick of seeing them go to festivals just for the sake of it are going to be happier this year! Rob seems to have actually listened to the people telling him we aren’t watching to see the festivals we want to see you having fun. Also the fact Rob can now drive gives me a glimmer of hope that they finally don’t need Razz

I enjoy the festival content as we also go to a lot of festivals, but I definitely want to see them have fun and not just a walk through of what’s on (or the fucking 1975)

The 24 hours in Wetherspoons one was well boring. God knows what they were thinking with that one.

Also the country and western thing with the random guy awkwardly appearing who got them tickets was just odd. I think they're struggling to get even half an hour of decent content.

I think they're starting to realise once they've visited the same festivals a few times it's becoming rinse and repeat. Probably really need to branch out more and visit every one they at least haven't tried before. Plus mixing it up with content like drinking games around cities etc.

Jake seems to be in literally every video now and he comes across as a bit of a try hard.

I agree with you on Jake. If I remember rightly he was a fan of the channel before he joined and he recently quit his job to do TPD full time. I feel he’s not as genuine as the other boys.

I’ve always said I don’t like how they leave Mary, but we go to almost as many festivals as them and see them everywhere, and it’s always Mary leaving them to go do whatever she’s doing

They just left her on her own pissed in Magaluf , definitely not a place to leave a drunk woman of any age on there own !!! Even if she was declaring she would be ok !

It’s just irresponsible to their audience who may be younger and less street wise than them , that this kind of behaviour is ok and safe !

Jake is 24, there was an article in a newspaper in the summer and gave their ages. I know Jake quit his job but I’m not sure if he gets a salary every month. I would think they Patreon money must go on tickets and travel costs etc.

I can guarantee they must have arguments over money and the channel. I can remember Rob mentioned on the podcast that once he bought a coffee once with the company card and Raz text him straight away and asked what he was doing.

Leaving Mary drunk on her own again, it's so scary. I know she's a grown adult but when she can't even string a sentence together, she's clearly very very drunk! So so irresponsible to show that on the channel too.

This seem to be showing on their views as well. They're slowly going on a downward trajectory. Like all youtubers though they blame the algorithm etc.

I think people are thinking ‘meh, seen it all before’. My son is slightly younger than them and used to be an avid viewer. He’s bored of the same old content now and never watches.
Let’s hope they haven’t given up their day jobs (like Rob has).

Looks like they may be doing Burning Man which I am very interested to see but I don’t think they should bother with coachella again (pretty sure they are doing that with Stagecoach straight after) and the dance festivals I don’t care for cos they don’t seem very arsed either. I’ve not watched C2C yet, the jake heavy vlogs I don’t watch as much.

looking forward to seeing them at primavera. From their reaction on twitter it feels like they may have got glasto tickets again but due to the line up now cba to go.

When I saw the first one was an hour and forty mins I was just like, nah, life's too short.

I agree , I watched the Kyoto one because I was interested to see the city , well it was a waste of time .

Basically it was 4 men acting like giddy teenagers , tbh it’s getting a bit weird now they are in their 30’s acting like teens and worse hanging out with teens at festivals etc , getting a bit noncey !

At least Mary wasn't with them getting pissed and lost on her own as usual !

Think the long length of vlog is just to get as many ads in as possible !

In one gasp wanting to buy a Rimova suitcase. ( cabin size is £1k) the next thanking the patreons for handing over their hard earned cash !! You couldn't make it up !!

Rob’s always been my least favourite if I’m honest. He seems to have an air of entitlement while acting like dealing with fans is beneath him.

I honestly didn’t bother with the snow festival video and couldn’t finish the New Orleans one I find them a bit embarrassing now doing what they do every single year. It’ll be same old this year starting with Coachella I expect, when you’ve seen it three times it’s nothing new anymore.

They’re all around my age and their stuff just isn’t relatable anymore. Lapped it up in my twenties but I just find their content so unrelatable and quite frankly a bit grim? Getting that pissed all the time at that age just isn’t aspiring or inspiring. I went to download last year so watched their festival vlogs to get a buzz but the the other 51 weeks of the year? Nah.

Don’t want to be negative as I enjoy their content, but all the way through that I was failing to see the appeal of the festival. Fair enough it’s one of those once in a lifetime things and if that’s your thing and you’ve got thousands of dollars then go for it. Just seemed like a lot of dust, in extreme heat to see a man burning. Not entirely sure Matt Briody really enjoyed it as much as the others. Don’t think I’d be getting that drunk would be scared of finding my camp again so far out in middle of nowhere where you can’t see..

Sorry but what's the point of releasing second videos of the same festival and calling it an "uncut" version. Isn't their whole angle that it's "the real deal" anyway? Why not just call it part 2 instead of uncut?

They always bill these videos as 'authentic'.... Authentic isn't necessarily a good thing guys. Like there were so many people at slam dunk having the time of their lives n contributing wonderful vibes, even in the rain. TPD TV were not those people and this video SHOULD have been left on the floor.

Also forgive me but the amount of festivals and drinking to excess is seriously taking a toll on all pretty much all their bodies bar Dan's and I think they'd be better off skipping a few and doing another ADITL but where they go to a spa or start a gym routine or something

Rob is a bit up himself now and acts like the festivals have to thank them for being there, like new bands need his seal of approval. Then in the next breath says season pros like Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight and Richard Ashcroft are just middle of the road. Pretty sure they don’t care what TPD think!!
