My 3yo has picked up the phrase "what the hell" which I hadn't even realised we said :ROFLMAO: the way she says it is hilarious
Also, "bloody adverts" if an advert interrupts her watching Spider in the Bath on Youtube

It’s only this week and last I’d say maybe slightly longer he has started repeating what we are saying !! I’m going to have to watch my mouth. Especially in the car I have bad language due to other drivers 🤣🤣🤣

Another topic does anyone know a good brand for nappies that are bigger than size 8. Mine has out grown these now and I’m struggling to find any that fit. I have tried to Aldi night time ones but they leave blue stains on his bum and I was panicking about it 😂. I’m just looking at Nuggies night time but I’ve never used this brand before.

I don't think many do them.
Tesco do up to size 8 but aside from that, we used huggies or pampers. Which ever were on offer. Although we never needed bigger than an 8.

I'm sure both of them you can get a free one to try

Nappies wise, we ended up using Pampers size 8 when my eldest needed them. He was potty trained by 2.8 months and only needed nappies at night until he moved into Dry Nites. But I didn't start using them with him until he was almost 4.

He’s in those already. The pampers ones. But is out growing them he’s a big lad for his age. Someone must do them. Mine can’t be the only one who needs the bigger size?😖😖

Week 2 of no pull up at night for my 3 year old. She’s been dry at night since before she was potty trained and it’s been going well. We go abroad next week and im just wondering whether to take some on hol just incase she has an accident at night. It didn’t confuse her before but I feel like there becomes a point where they’re just not needed.. she often wakes up in the night for a wee and will
Shout me anyway. Even the nights when she wore a pull up!

The beds are double beds so can’t really take a mattress protector as im not buying one just for the holiday. Hmmmmmmmmmmm

I think the Huggies dry nites are probably your best bet, they do sizes for all ages up to teens and seem to be well reviewed.

My sister was filming my 3 yo singing on his keyboard yesterday, in the middle of London Bridge he pulls his microphone out and he goes ‘gods sake!!!!’ and then ‘jesus!!!!’ all on camera 😂

Also he is scouse like me but when he says gods sake he says it with a proper Northern accent he goes ‘fuuur gooods saaakkuuh’ 😂😂😂

My 3yo dropped the f bomb the other day, in front of my husband because she picked it up from him 🤦🏼‍♀️ he explained to her she shouldn’t use that word and thankfully she’s just accepted this and not said it again.

We’re big Bluey fans in this house so try and stick with ‘oh biscuits’ 😅

Not sure what’s going on in my little ones head today.
we went to my friends today and it took me 15 minutes or so to get him in the car!!! He wouldn’t get in the car then kept leaping out of his seat
We were going a walk this afternoon and he didn’t want me to get him ready. Kept sitting on the stairs crying. Once I eventually got him out the door he cried for about two mins of the walk. Not like him at all
He has been a bit tired all day

bedtime he turns into the devil. Kept laughing. Wouldn’t get in bed. Wouldn’t lie down. Everything was funny. Tried getting him to bed at 710. Eventually he was asleep my 830. I was crying at 8pm😂😂😂
Gotta love kids right.

How old is he? I remember with my daughter one day she was being really difficult and she actually managed to communicate to me that she didn’t want to leave the house, wanted to stay at home and play with her toys. I remember it so specifically because up until that point, I’d made plans without consulting her because I’d assumed she wouldn’t have an opinion but after that I made sure I discussed our plans with her. She was about 2.5

He is 4. He does like being at home. But he can’t spend all day at home 😂
He’s in a good mood this morning think he was just having an off day

My little one has just gone to sleep no arguments or anything. I started bed time at 655. He had a bath at 6 and we’ve been in bed he had the iPad for a bit and then a book then nothing and just gone to sleep in 15 mins bless him. It’s SO much better when he doesn’t fight me 🥹

After a long day of parenting nightmare bedtimes can just push you over the edge. Glad it went well 👍🏻

I don’t know if this is the right thread.
Should I be concerned that my 15 month old only has 4 teeth?
Not at all. My 3rd didn’t have any teeth until she was over 13 months, so wouldn’t have even had 4 at that age. She had a full set before she was 3. Some kids just teethe later than others. My no4 didn’t have any until he was 12 months. He just turned 2 and only has 11.
