There really is no such thing as too early, I’ve known plenty of kids who have been out of nappies before 2, and all mine have been just after 2. He had it, he’s able to do it, he’s just having a moment. It will pass x

None of mine have ever been unwell from jabs.

isn’t it weird how some are unwell and some aren’t! I have the flu jab yearly and I don’t have any side effects, but my dad has it and he’s unwell off it. I guess it’s just how bodies react!

Mine has decided he doesn’t like my hair dryer now!! This is because he doesn’t like hand dryers. I’ve just put it on and I accidentally put it on full blast and it is quite loud he ran off crying bless him. He was fine with it until he experienced hand dryers somewhere the other month!!!!

My child hates having her hair washed cos the water goes in her eyes. I bought her some goggles she can use for swimming too, and has it solved the problem? NO. She still screams!!!! It’s so frustrating

Mr3 suddenly got scared of the vaccuum recently. It came out of nowhere. He doesn’t like my hair dryer either so I thought maybe it was the noise … but I’ve made a game out of it. So I get him to “help” with the vacuuming and he helps me push it around, and I get him to “help” me dry my hair and I think that’s working.
I feel terrible when I forget and just turn them on though! He’s much better when I give him some warning so he can cover his ears or run down the hallway

We do hair in the shower, a sponge or flannel to cover eyes and I just keep repeating to look up at the ceiling and it rarely goes in their eyes

she hates the shower head that’s even worse. I use a cup and tell her to put her head up but she just screams, it’s dreadful. I’m washing her hair daily now it’s summer and I try and do it soon as she gets in the bath. She just hates any water going on her face but then she’s happy to play on holiday with water going on her face drama queen

Usually he’s fine with my hair dryer like I’ve blown it on his hair at the front before and he always thinks it’s funny. The full blast did sound a bit loud

Could you cut down the amount you wash her hair?
Daily hair washing isn't good for anyones hair

Not really in summer, she’s so sweaty from nursery with wearing a hat and running round and she doesn’t have lots of hair to wash. It’s not even shoulder length it just doesn’t grow! She wanted a plait in her hair this morning like the witch from ro on the broom story and this is how short it is. In winter/spring I don’t wash her her daily, every other day. Just summer cos she’s sweaty

Oh man, I only wash my daughter's hair once a week. She hates it, so I do it as little as possible

Am a bit behind and reading the half term chat (we don't get half term here ). I found this idea for low cost/free activities I'm going to do with my almost 6yo and 2.5yo during the summer break. Definitely too late for half term but may help for the (long) summer holidays.

I'm going to write or print the suggestions out and put them all into a jar. The kids will take turns picking 1-2 each week as I'll only have them 2 full days during the week. Also hoping the weather will be nice enough to have days in the garden with the paddling pool and throw them ice poles every couple of hours

Not to brag but mine is asleep!!! I’ve really tired him out today. We went to the park this morning and it’s quite big. We walked round it for a hour bless him. We’ve had a lovely week I don’t wanna go back to work on Monday 🥲

You really don’t need to wash her hair that much at all. Not only would it cut out a lot of your hassle, but it’s not good for her hair.
