No I don’t think it’s selfish. The long break might do him good. Mines gonna be off for three weeks nowIt’s my sons last two days in nursery tomorrow and Friday and he’s had last week off and Monday, and i’m proper in two minds about sending him in. it’s the first time in ages that he’s been like 98% well. i’d just rather him not got sick againis that selfish of me!? i just don’t want him to get poorly again cos he’s been proper poorly the last 2 weeks and just want him to have a break from it
Just thought I'd say that he's not too young for a single bedMine is 20 months and doesn’t go to sleep until 9. Any earlier and he was before 7. So that’s a no lol
He’s never just laid down in his cot and slept. Hates the thing, so we co sleep. He will lie down and sleep in my bed , with lights off etc. Tried toddler bed etc etc. what’s he really wants a proper single divan bed but is too young yet.
He also wakes multiple times a night to drink water from a bottle. Which so exhausting and don’t know how to stop that habit.
All you can do is set up a good bedtime routine- bath, book , bed etc. They will understand and get there. Be consistent with times even if it is 9pm. You could try pushing bedtime back 5 mins every two days. Once routines established.
Where is lo sleeping at the moment?
Glad to read thisWe have been discharged and are home![]()

With horrid antibiotics we have to pin her down and force feed her 4 times a day but still! We are home.
Is a bed guard enough to keep them from rolling out at this age?Just thought I'd say that he's not too young for a single bed![]()
I have a couple of friends who have never used a cot and put them straight into a bed.
My oldest went into a bed at 22 months and my second at 2 years![]()
It is, yeahIs a bed guard enough to keep them from rolling out at this age?
Also to say that my little girl went into a single bed when she was 2.5 and has only fallen out once and that's without a bed guard or anything! Is a bed guard enough to keep them from rolling out at this age?

Are they still having a nap in the day?Does anyone else toddler just not go to bed at night? Little one is 2.5, no matter how long or little they sleep even just 10 minutes they will not go to bed. They just scream the house down as soon as you try. I do not know how to get them to go to bed, they used to be so good would literally lie down and go straight to sleep but the last few weeks they just won’t sleep at all. Usually around 9-10pm before they go to sleep
Depends. Sometimes none, sometimes 10-20 mins and sometimes 1.5 hours. No matter what they don’t sleep at night until 9/10 even if they have no napAre they still having a nap in the day?

We had ours on all day 5am-5pm,but turned off at night from middle of November to middle of December and our gas was £170Does anyone else have their heating on all night? Mines on from 5pm to 6am the next morning and my gas bill (inc standing charge) is £80! I try and keep it off during the day even when I’m in the house with mini A but it’s just been so cold at the moment![]()
