If your spices don’t flow freely, you can take another jar and sort of run it around the glass bottom to get things moving. I can’t explain it so well so I just want to post the IG link to the original.

I tried it with cinnamon this morning and it works!

Most people probably already know this but the bodies of those who die climbing mount everest are left on the mountain. When there's a period of warm weather some of the ice melts and reveals hidden bodies that have been there for years and climbers pass multiple dead bodies during their climbs 😕

I found this out recently too. There’s a climber they call Green Boots and his body is commonly used as a landmark

Ok this is cheating because I've known this for decades but thought some of you might not know. Rabbits cannot vomit and they need to eat their own poo in order to absorb any valuable nutrition that may have been missed during first digestion. Their teeth and tooth roots never stop growing so they need to constantly gnaw hay, grass and leafy greens. They are not ideal pets for children contrary to popular belief, they cannot retract their claws and ma y do the like being handled. I also think they can be more expensive and difficult to look after than dogs.

Growing up I had a menagerie of animals and I can confirm rabbits are the mole of the childhood pet option. Lovely, but absolute nightmares.

Completely agree. I think my horse is easier to look after than my rabbit.

The lion depicted on the front of Lyle's golden syrup and black treacle tins is actually dead, not just lying down napping!

Mr Lyle was very religious and based the logo image on the biblical story where Samson killed a lion, tearing it apart with his bare hands. Bees (also depicted) then used the lion carcass as a hive and produced honey inside it....hence the strapline underneath, "Out of the strong came forth sweetness." 😱

Also, am I the last person to discover that the mountain on a Toblerone has a bear on it? (The famous bear of Bern, Switzerland, apparently.) How have I never noticed?! 🥴

That the handshake upon greeting someone dates back to medieval times. The right hand was offered to show the other person that you were unarmed and therefore not a threat.

I have 3 house rabbits and can confirm 🤣 they are also absolute asshats that enjoy jumping on my face at 3am. But they can be litter trained like cats!

I think I’m about to make myself look really stupid, but apparently you’re supposed to toast the bread before dipping to make french toast 😬 No wonder my attempts always turn out crap 😂

That would make sense. I’ve always thought eggy bread and French toast were just different names for the same thing (that I’ve always just made with bread) but maybe they are in fact two different things. One made with untoasted and the other with toasted bread

I've only ever made it by dipping stale bread but I suppose toast works in the same way. I'm not usually much of a fan actually but cinnamon french toast made in an air fryer is delicious.👌

A bunch of things I learned —

This is interesting but I have a mini dishwasher so I couldn’t verify before posting:

But this checked out on my compact ironing board:

Finally, bride kidnappings are an awful tradition in Kyrgyzstan. Young women are abducted off the streets and forced into marriage. Sometimes it is symbolic but not for nothing, many kyrzyg women emigrate to Russia.
