I didn’t learn anything new today but I did tell my Mrs that California was 10 days behind us. She obviously didn’t believe me at first but when I told her to ring her brother and ask him (I text him to warn him) and I got our 9 year old in on it. I think I’ll have to tell her I’m kidding or I can see her going into work and telling everyone she’s learnt a new fun fact 
She was also a bricklayer according to Chat magazine a few weeks ago...
Oh God, this is worse than when I found out they eat slugs!!!!Can confirm, unfortunately…we had chickens that would peck at our dog’s poo in the garden if we didn’t clean it up immediately. They would pretty much eat the whole thing if they had the chance, even though they had plenty of their own food available. I never ate their eggs

Club sandwich is called club because it’s Chicken and Lettuce Under Bacon
I wasn't sure that was right when I read it as I thought it was something to do with it being the signature sandwiches of the sports club. So I googled.

Lee mavers lead singer of the La's,best known for the song 'there she goes' is the brother of emmerdale and Peak practice actor Gary mavers,now that I know this I can't help but notice how similar their faces are.
That Gary Mavers used to come in my local for a drink with his mate Mark Moraghan who was in Brooky, caused quite a stir as they were both hotties back in the 90s!!
In old cemeteries, the giant gravestones that look like they’ve been cut in half/had the top of them topple over, are actually meant to look like that! They represent a life cut short too early, aka a young person.

When I was 13 I, amongst many of the local kids worked weekends at a local egg factory (back in 1980s) it was a battery farm place and some of the things I saw there that put me off eggs for a long long time!
That making your own sourdough starter and sourdough bread is not worth all the hassle, and that it is expensive to buy for very good reason.
