Just googled what a beetle drive is. Bugged me (no pun intended) since i was a kid. Im disappointed now i know. The first person to draw a beetle, adding body parts after each throw of the dice. Sounds incredibly boring.

I used to love that game too. We had a plastic version. You built the beetle rather than drew it (late 80's).
In the early 60's a beetle drive was held in our village hall every Friday night along with a pie and pea supper. Highlight of the week and the hall was packed.
