The Plains Indians of South Dakota in the U.S. remember a prophet by the name of Sweet Medicine. On the top of a mountain that is still around today a deity by the name of Ma’heo’o, which translates to “Great Spirit,” gave him a set of customs that governs religious, political, social, and economic life. Records of this event predate Europeans setting foot in the Dakotas. My wee mind is blown away!!

That when Sum up appears on your online banking, it is the card reader used , not the company you bought from .
Silly me thought that I'd been seriously overcharged by someone else.

It’s happened to me a few times and it’s so scary. Knowing you’re awake but just not being able to move at all
It really is. I’m sure it only lasted for 10 seconds tops, but it felt so long at the time!

When it has happened with you, did you have any visual or auditory hallucinations? I didn’t but a seemingly predominant theme with people who experience this is of like a frightening character entering your room? Must be something to do with the fact that it mainly occurs when you wake up suddenly during the REM cycle. Friend of mine experienced that, and it sounded like a living nightmare!
