The guy in the video demonstrated how you can apparently extend the visor (after un-clipping it and flipping it to cover the top of the door window).

Tried it in my car yesterday (Fiat 500). It did not extend.

So is it just a US/Canada thing? Do only certain makes and models of cars have this? Is it all just a joke?

It really is. I’m sure it only lasted for 10 seconds tops, but it felt so long at the time!

When it has happened with you, did you have any visual or auditory hallucinations? I didn’t but a seemingly predominant theme with people who experience this is of like a frightening character entering your room? Must be something to do with the fact that it mainly occurs when you wake up suddenly during the REM cycle. Friend of mine experienced that, and it sounded like a living nightmare!

I don’t remember having any hallucinations thankfully. Just a fear of wondering when I’ll be able to move again
