If someone is having difficult climbing a wall, they’ll say something like, ‘this wall doesn’t have perches.’ They’re not saying “purchase.” 🙈

Whilst animals are being discussed, (Some) Hyenas actually enjoy a cuddle (from those who know how to handle them). Personally they freak me out, strange looking creatures. :D

I've found out today that the series of books I've been reading and enjoying are written by Harriet of traitors fame (highly recommend).

You can change the motion field on Ring doorbells. Mine’s been going off constantly due to my autumn wreath lifting in the wind. Serious first world problem, I know.

Children of identical twins are siblings not cousins genetically. As the daughter of an identical twin this had fascinated me.
I think I mentioned this before but I have some double cousins in my family (a set of fraternal twins married a brother and sister). I was reading something similar to you that the family’s kids share the same amount of dna as half siblings

That the fi in WiFi doesn’t actually stand for anything. I’m going to start asking people for their IEEE 802.11b Direct Sequence password from now on 😂
I've gone a bit nostalgic and started watching Buffy series 1. In one Internet based episode they kept referring to e-letters, which made me think who/when decided on e-mail.

My new (not cheap either) waterproof trousers aren't very waterproof.
Maybe they work for incontinence. I'll try weeing in them if I remember later on.

Do you wash them first or put them in the sun then wash?

I wash first then peg out - stain facing the sun. I use fairy liquid on the stain pre wash. Wash. Peg out facing the sun and it works 99% time. (See how rock and roll my life is) 😂😂

I can't remember exactly, but I think it was a personal trainer if it's just water it'll go right through you but if it has juice then it works the body better.
Ah okay I guess it would be to do with things like sugar or protein in the drink slowing down the absorption. It's mostly sodium and potassium that would make a drink more hydrating but need to be careful with things like that as well especially in the heat and or if someone is training hard

For example I just found out the recently popular Prime drinks are marketed as hydration beverages but actually contain very little sodium to be that.

Also heard of a case of a guy who played tennis in the heat and was hydrating himself with coconut water, which is high in potassium and almost died

I think coke cola originally contained cocaine
yeah, it did originally - a combination of cocaine and caffeine, but they ditched cocaine as an ingredient in the early 1900s, as more knowledge of the drug (which was legal at the time & used as medicine for various ailments) raised concerns about addiction etc.

When my child learned to wave, they’d wave at absolutely everyone. It used to piss me off the amount of old bastards that wouldn’t acknowledge them. They were a baby.
I know not everyone likes kids but not everyone likes old people and can still manage to be polite.
This always annoyed me and often I wanted to say something but my child wasn't fussed.
