I think coke cola originally contained c
yeah, it did originally - a combination of c and caffeine, but they ditched c as an ingredient in the early 1900s, as more knowledge of the drug (which was legal at the time & used as medicine for various ailments) raised concerns about addiction etc.

Not only is Alice Cooper still alive, he's also only in his 70s? I thought he'd be at least 90!

My mum, who's in her 70s, used to listen to him when School's Out was released, so how are they only a few years apart?

And not just that, he's been married to the same woman since 1976!

... that I've been using my neck pillow the wrong way round for 2yrs, the higher section of the pillow is supposed to go under your neck - I've slept really well since I found that out!

Today I learned it's a really bad idea to teach your 76 year old mum how to use AI to create pictures of you with different hairstyles. So far I've had 39 messages from my mum showing her with a range of deranged to horrifying styles 🤯. Bless her, she's having fun but ... yeah 🤣❤

That seagulls eat other small birds. o_O

My sister rang me this morning - after hearing the most almighty commotion out her back, which she said went on for what seemed like ages - and went out to investigate. Her neighbour, also alerted to the noise, told her that a flock of seagulls had swooped down and killed/taken a load of small birds as they were feeding from his bird-feeders. Both sister & neighbour were very upset, especially the neighbour who'd witnessed the whole thing. Urban area. So I had a google, and apparently this is quite common.

Anyway, this is what I learned today. :(

I once (unfortunately) saw a video of a seagull eating a rabbit. It took some doing, but it swallowed it whole!

Oh Wolfie! o_O Did you see the video by accident?
Yes, sort of. I didn't realise what the video was going to show. I thought it was something "nice" about a seagull. Well, I suppose it was nice for the seagull but not so nice for the rabbit.

Nature is wonderful but it can also be very cruel.

Today I learned that the lovely smell from freshly cut grass is a result of the plants releasing a stress hormone. :(
