Lockjaw from rusty nails. Weils Disease. Ringworm (grew up in an agricultural area so with lots of animals, barns to play in etc). I remember telling someone in college that ringworm was common enough as a kid and she was horrified.

China dolls
The wooden spoon (if you know you know!)
Little plastic toys I got from KFC, it had a little heat sensitive patch on its tummy and I was sure that every time I pressed that I had a bad dream!

Think I might have previously commented this, but I used to be terrified of Moira Stewart the news reader 😂😂 every night for a year I’d have nightmares about her. No idea why.

And I might have previously replied to your comment and said Trevor McDonald used to scare me because of his “silver hair” that apparently used to frighten me 😂😂

Poor Trev, just trying to report the news professionally, wearing black rimmed glasses and being unfortunate to start getting grey/silver hair in the 80s that he was so scary for plenty of kids back then :ROFLMAO:

To get smacked with? Otherwise, I don’t know!

😂It's terrifying and then the hands that clap on their own look like they have no body and that is weird too even watching zzaap I watched a American react to it and I still didn't like it

We had some porcelain figurines of an old man and an old lady, I hated them and would turn them to face the wall whenever I got the chance!

I grew up in the 70's. We had Hammer Horror movies, seat belts were optional and playgrounds were covered in concrete and full of kids with broken limbs and bruises everywhere. Nothing scared us. Apart from this weird-looking bleeping rabbit thing, which looked like it was made from the discarded underwear of a possessed tramp...😱😱😱
