Have any of you contacted her management company about her scamming? I don’t think it’s my place as I’m not a SEN mum so can’t comment on what she’s had money for that’s been funded by the NHS anyway. I reckon her management mind be interested in it.
Anyone who followed her during the period she received donations for an item she didn’t actually purchase has a valid enough opinion and reason to speak up.
Why it wasn’t purchased is irrelevant (unless of course the recipient had passed away which isn’t the case).
Her stories and posts showed in full detail that she didn’t purchase one. The SEN community aren’t the voice of reason........
This is about false advertising. False claims. If you want to say it’s not your place then that’s fine but it’s not our place either.
Does nobody listen to how much she has wronged us and trolled SEND parents? Do you still think ‘we’ are just jealous? 🤦🏻‍♀️
interesting example of them and us. You still don’t want to stand with us I see. 🤔 (Wonder if you wouldn’t speak up for BLM or LGBTQ community being wronged because your not black or gay?)

I have to say a comment about not being a SEN mum and that allowing you exemption from supporting them has to be one of the worst admissions I’ve seen on this thread.
This is exactly what K is validating. You can all be fake supporters of her and her troubles and her poor poor situation. You can give her money and shares and likes but if your asked to stand against her you shy away from something that’s not your problem? You can isolate yourself away from us disabled families and leave us to it.
She’s letting you all think your doing so well by counting her as someone you follow and shall we say ‘feel sorry for’??

I wasn’t following her at the time that the money was raised but was it for a special chair for nursery or have I got that completely wrong ?

I donated to the chair fund. What happened was that j was assessed for seating I think the ot said they'd get him a chair but it MIGHT not be funded or could take a while. As soon as the ot left Katie was raging in stories about how he want going to get a chair, how let down she was, how poor she was, she was having panic attacks etc. I'm sure other sen parents got in touch to tell her the chair would be funded but she didn't listen and set up a fundraiser very quickly.

For a very long time afterwards she didn't mention the chair would be funded by the nhs. Tbh I didn't want my money back, I would rather it be used for j, but it has meant I've not really paid into fundraisers (except the kisscub one) since.

Thank you for explaining that . If I remember rightly hasn’t she used some of the money for something . I vaguely remember her trying to justify herself .

I apologise if what I said has come across differently to how I intended because not once did I say something is not my problem. I have no idea what was donated by the NHS, other people on here do. I simply could not go to someone and say what she got funded on the NHS and what she fundraised for as I have no idea 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn’t know about the fundraisers other than the Susie Verill one before this post so no, I wasn’t following her during the period she received donations for an item she didn’t actually purchase. What are you on about me thinking you’re jealous 😂

J is such a lovely little boy, and developed so much in the time I’ve followed (which is probably less than a year) I don’t understand why she’s not shouting from the rooftops how proud she is at what he has achieved in his short life. (I do know why, but that’s also very sad)

I’ve been reading this thread for about a week now. When people first tried to open one for the first time last year I was really disappointed to see people be so critical of her for having such a hard time.

However, having read through the opinions here and some of the financial info I’m extremely shocked to see the difference in Kaytee. I’ve followed her ever since UGG shared her profile and started the fundraiser for mother and son support to lift her spirits basically because she was having a hard time. I’m starting to see what others have said and I do think she has changed A LOT in the last few months.

I’m all for people and single parents earning monies and doing what they can to provide for their families and kids but I’m more concerned now how she’s using her son (who is extremely cute and I agree with the above that has come on lots since I started following) in a lot of adds. I’m very concerned about this button situation and how she can remove the tube to stop it getting caught and infected etc but she chooses not to? What’s that about? There’s a lot of AD’s and it’s very obvious she wants to be insta famous and these days it’s not for the right reason IMO. Also what happened to her nursing job? She’s blathered on about that so much and I think wants to be seen as a saint who does it all and cares for sick people whilst having a SEN child but in reality didn’t enjoy the nursing and would rather be an insta star (😕😑)

So many questions and thoughts. Sigh.

I think what bothers me more now is I like UGG a lot and she’s always liking Kaytee’s posts etc and I don’t think she knows how the wool has been pulled over her eyes either...

Yesterday was sickening exploitation of a disabled child....'guys j has a hospital appointment, I feel sick... If you want to help then go like and share my ad for skin cream.'... here's a few shots of my disabled child in case you're undecided about helping me become Insta famous. If you want to sell fan pads and cream go ahead, but what had any of that got to with having a disabled child? Weall know you've got enough money for you and him to live comfortably.

I've been following since a little after all her media moments; I'm 23 and have no experience with either SEN or parenting so basically always assumed she was the SEN advocate fighting to get everything for her child. I was confused by how mobile J is and how much he seems to understand / communicate as that didn't quite seem to match the helpless child image, but figured he's not my child and I know nothing about the care requirements so took her word for how he needs all the carers and should be scored highly for everything. I'm also sure he's had an irritated PEG site before and she's got it sorted so I couldn't understand why that wouldn't happen now.
The hotel stays and fancy clothes and car I always just assumed were gifted which seemed fair enough considering what she was going through. Reading this thread though, it is quite eye opening to see how effectively the truth has been distorted, and I very much don't understand why you'd alienate what should be your biggest support network or try and make your child seem so much worse than he is.
The rant about schools was one of the first things that didn't sit right - I had thought if your child is that high need then it might not even be possible for a mainstream school to make the necessary changes to be safe for them. Her rant about inclusion did make me think well maybe I just don't understand because I'm not having to fight for every little thing for an SEN child (although apologies if thinking it's understandable that a school may not be equipped to accommodate extreme special needs is ableist, fully admit I probably have quite a naive pov).
Idk,I think what I'm saying is that it's easy to believe her basically saying everything is against her, she knows best and if you disagree then you are a bad person, but this has made me see she doesn't stand for the SEN community and her priorities are with herself and not J.

Did UGG start a fundraiser too separately to the one Rosie/Susie and Megan Rose Lane did alongside Kaytees own? Was there 3 or 4 fundraisers then? I only knew of the 3 😯 how much was raised on that one, do you know?
