Really Dont understand how she cannot manage 3 hourly feeds. I know my son is on 3 hourly over an hour. Medications 4 times daily. So are many other complex children. No one else seems to moan or say its unachievable. It's feeding your child. To keep then healthy and happy. Why is she constantly trying to make that little boy poorly.
When he was in hospital the last time, he was thriving. He put on weight. He was doing fantastic. Looked so so healthy. Ironically.... She wasn't with him. His dad was in hospital whilst she pranced around getting drunk with a man on a golf course, opening her beloved packages and waffling on in Js hottub that she supposedly cannot go in because she gets an allergic reaction.
Funny that the time her son is at his best... Is not in her care.

I personally think the professionals are definitely keeping tabs. The evidence is there in black and white that when left to her own devices, her son declines. We won't know the half of what's going on. He wasn't vomiting in hospital. He wasn't missing his vital medications there. He wasn't not getting fed there... Goes home and goes down hill.

Something is brewing. This is what she does when something big is coming up. Her son declines and then she uses that to her advantage. I fear for that little boy. Again, it's a case of he doesn't fit with her lifestyle. Selfish and lazy.

The thing is she clearly doesn’t want to be a nurse!
She wants to be an influencer and will use her child for this. I used to think that she was such a good person but after time I realised that she is a narcissistic liar, who will use people for her own gain. The Dubai trip confirmed that for me.
I think it’s very telling that she is not liked in the SEN community.

The kitten in his bed is just asking for trouble.
Kittens claws are Sharp, Jaxon has no concept of danger and let's face it hasn't been shown by his mum to be careful to the kittens (she laughed at him being very rough with them)
She's mentioned many times her sons Gastro site is very sore... Anyone remember the kittens pooing everywhere, walking in their own faeces? To the point she bathed them 🙄
Now her son has an open gastro site already sore that is just so vulnerable to infections.
With her being a nurse too I really wish she would disconnect his tube when not being used. The tube is always out, dangling, trailing on the floor, the grass, filled with bile or milk (the tube should be flushed with water then disconnected) yet its always hanging out, which is like a toy to some children... And most children will tug on it or catch it. Which means it could be ripped out of his stomach. However she's complained in the past it's him self harming himself?
Common sense would suggest she removes the tube after every feed/medication when not in use?
But I am no nurse... She is 🤣

Learnt so much. Ashamed to say I thought all families with sen children got carers. I actually didn't realise carers are there only for extremely medically complex children.
Sadly not. I follow some SEN mothers whose children require hoists for lifting, are non verbal and are 100% reliant on their parents 24/7 every day of the year with very little respite. They do not complain or film their children vomiting, they would find that abhorrent. Why do they not receive the 60 hours a week of carers? I have no idea. Will Kaytee cope on her own looking after her son? No,she will continually show the lethal mistakes of missing meds, sleeping and missing feeds, vomit and shit followed by a Gofundme to pay for carers for 10 years...🤮🤑🤮🤑🤮🤑 fuck she makes me angry

I am so glad I came across this thread.

I tried to post last year and 18 months ago and kept being told she was off limits.

the more and more I’ve seen of her the more I just can’t believe how she gets away with it.

glad it’s not just me that thinks all of what I’ve just read too

"this life"
She doesn't want a disabled child. She doesn't want a child full stop. She's far too selfish, self absorbed and an uncaring individual to ever be a mother.
Forget about yourself just for a moment and look at your son. Do you think he wants "this life". A life of you never giving him any attention or real love that's not filmed or staged for the gram. A life in which his own mother makes him poorly to benefit herself. A life in which every moment of his life is plastered all over social media to thousands of people seeing him vomit, choking, wasting away, letting left with anyone, who gets filmed in distress, has a set of knives and forks to play with Instead of toys... And his mother cannot ever celebrate the amazing little boy he is.

Stop referring to yourself as an unpaid carer. You are supposed to be a MOTHER.

Who can find time to have her own fitness and health worked on.. But misses her sons physio he needs more than she does a PT session with a guy she probably wants to shag.
Who is still making changes and fucking up his health by trying to make it easier for herself.

Why isn't her own mother pulling her up.
Why arnt her friends.
Why cannot she see just what a twat she is and how harmful she is being to her son and to the SEN community.

Give yourself some slack?! If kaytee was my daughter I'd tell her to take a god damn hard look at herself and step up to being that poor wee boys mother. She needs to buck her ideas up not cut herself slack.

Social services need to step in because this is getting out of hand.

Phew! I thought there was a 4th on the go then. Susie Verrill and Rosie Ramsey set one up together but lots of other influencers shared theirs. Most families who really do need help dont even set one up now after what Kaytee did. She has made people look at them differently, with caution and suspicion. Theres alot of worry amongst SEND parents that people will think their fundraisers wont be legit because of what shes done. She has caused alot of harm to the children who do need that financial support, many need people to help straight away but now alot of fundraisers take months to reach their targets and alot of those children dont have months to wait. You only have to read on here and see that people have commented that they no longer donate to fundraisers because of her. I hope she is proud of herself knowing other children are suffering the consequences of her actions.

If people read this and feel that way, please reconsider and be assured that other SEND parents struggle to ask for help, it's a last resort for many, if you see one of their fundraisers please support it, it wont be used to buy a hot tub or fancy hotel stays. Come and find us on Instagram, search other SEND accounts and you will see for yourselves the reality of our lives are very different to Kaytees and she is not our voice.

There is nothing more disheartening when she plays down how clever he actually is. Why does she always look for the negative instead of celebrate them positive. He can clearly make his needs known- (if she says otherwise she needs to pay more attention to him!), he can sign some Makaton signs, use technology to call who he wants and understands how this works, bum shuffles around to areas he wants, can ‘say’ some words e.g the flash cards.
I don’t get why she wants him to he more disabled than he is. Yes he is disabled, yes he clearly has additional care needs compared to other children his age, BUT he can also do far more than she ever gives credit for. Heartbreaking.
This is what alot of sen/aen parents are finding hard. He clearly is more capable than she makes out yet most of us would be shouting from rooftops if our children were doing aswell. We wouldn't be exaggerating their needs to get attention/sympathy/donations/carers hours so we can socialise/date.

She has previously mentioned writing a book, she sees herself as the voice for the SEN community but when you first become a SEN parent it's a whole new world. She has previously said that all SEN families have fundraisers. No we dont, the minority do fundraisers for urgent things that are not funded. We all know chairs are funded. We share each others things, Kaytee didn't even share her friends fundraiser but shared a homeless persons fundraiser that was already going viral and getting attention.

We visit GOSH every 3 weeks, we stay in budget accommodation, I dont know any SEN family who can afford the hotels she stays in, including those who are working full time and on a higher income than she claims to be on.

Some things are performative and it feels like she doesnt want people seeing the families that do really need help. She also mentioned some SEN parents have live in nannys. This was a dig at 1 parent who does not live in the UK, you wont find average SEN families here with live in nannys, other countries do things differently but again it makes people think we have it easy and she is struggling.

People all discuss the dubai holiday and assume this is why the SEN community have turned on her. We all know what happened with the dubai holiday & part of it does play a part but there is more to it than that. In truth she distanced herself from others first and avoided replying to friends asking her to help, even those who helped her.

She has also used her platform to cyber bully a parent, which most will not have noticed unless they know about what has really gone on. None of us in the SEN community will talk about this out of respect for the parent, not Kaytee.

I was wondering when a thread would appear and stay. Must be because of all the ads??
I only ever heard her story about the Dubai trip. What’s the other side?
The other SEN mum who is incredible and such a lovely woman, lives in dubai. She herself has a child with disabilities. She picked kaytee up from the airport, was there to meet them, bought her food shop for her stay. Was there for the majority of kaytees stay. Not quite the single mum trip with no help at all facade she was showing on Instagram.
I believe she stayed at the five palm jumeirah, which is an expensive hotel.
When kaytee got back she then proceeded to post photos of herself and Jaxon. No mention of the help she'd recieved whilst over there. Then ignored the other SEN mum and wouldn't pay her money back that this other mum had lent her.
It was only when the other mum spoke out and a few months after did nursemum acknowledge the lady and still to this day hasnt ever thanked her for all the help she did.
This lady also got all of kaytees followers bombarding her, she had to go private.
Sadly she isn't on Instagram any more which is a real shame as she was so brave calling her out.
There has also been one or two other accounts (SEN Parents) who have also done the same. Shared their thoughts and opinions on their platforms and I know one sen mum I follow was publicly named by kaytee. Kaytee posted quite a number of stories calling her quite a number of disgusting things. Shared a screenshot with the SEN mums name and then that lady (who I believe was staying in a children's hospice at the time with her daughter) was again bombarded with kaytees followers. Kaytee basically told everyone if they were following this account she didn't want them following her.
When people do voice their opinions, they are shut up. She takes to her stories and makes out these mums are trolls, that they are jealous... When in fact these mums have had enough of one person declaring herself as the voice for a large community and portraying their life in the light she casts.
Which isn't the life of a SEN parent.

There’s no denying she has a difficult life, but so do thousands if not millions of other peoples with children/family members to care for who have complex needs, and they don’t get extensions on their care allowance or assistance because of their Instagram following.

There’s just something about her I can’t put my finger on...very defensive. I find it strange how she always asks what people think about emotive and controversial topics and then gets her back up when it’s not the same as her opinion and deems everyone a troll or an unkind person.

I have waited so long for a thread on this woman. Her constant complaining irritates me. She asks for advice but there's always a reason she can't do this or that. Or when someone mentions her son looks to be gaining weight 'this really isn't helpful'

I am a SEN mum and like others who have posted here, we don't get carers, a car, all the equipment she has. My daughter is 6 has complex needs and is also autistic. She hasn't had one occupational therapy session or one speech therapy session provided by the NHS. We have gone private because we needed to. She has a special needs buggy, that we bought and weren't provided with. She attends a school that we pay a carer to be with her. We both work our assets off. My husband alot more. We are lucky to get one evening a month where we have dinner together or sleep in the same bed at the same time together, yet kaytee is in expensive hotels in London, having nice meals, going on dates, works a job 2days a week and has carers to give her a night's sleep. The woman doesnt realise how lucky she is and it frustrates me. I'm confident if any SEN parents got what she had, our lives would be so much easier. I can't remember the last time I was on holiday. She's alot better off than most.

Although, if someone wants to put 100,000 in my bank account I'll give you my details 😂

My daughter can't talk at all, can't move herself other than rolling over a little, has seizures and can't even empty her own bladder but she's not poorly enough to qualify for continuing care hours. To see Kaytee throwing all her toys out of the pram because hers is being taken away is incredibly frustrating to watch. Jaxon can do so much.

I’ve seen her mentioned quite a lot in other threads relating to other influencers but really don’t have a problem with her.

She seems to never have a day off and I think she is entitled to some luxuries now and again. We all have ways to treat ourselves: takeaways, holidays, hobbies etc.

She is very opinionated and likes to call out negative questions from followers but I don’t really see the problem in that. She often talks about how the positives from her followers keep her going but don’t think she should have to avoid talking about what pisses her off.

Who saw her go for her haircut (a free one btw) in Nottingham and slag off strangers for not wearing masks in public. Fast forward a few weeks and she’s prancing round convent garden completely mask free? 🤦🏻‍♀️

surely that cat didn't get in there by itself, those bed sides are enormous
you mean his OTT special needs bed for a child who needs restraining? Not for a child who is sick in the night and needs immediate intervention. I’d say unlocking his cage first isn’t immediate action.
but he can sleep in a hotel bed no problem. And glamp in a travel cot.
anyone else trying to work out what home adaptions she’s desperate for when he can sit, crawl and go up and down stairs by himself?.

Please look up nina_tame and her newest highlight. Very interesting read.
whilst it is an interesting read and way of looking at it, personally I can’t completely agree with her POV
Whilst on one hand you get parents like our Katie here who uses her sons additional needs to benefit herself, to create sympathy, post distasteful photos/ videos etc

the majority of parents who share their child’s journey are doing so to connect and learn from others going through similar. To find support, advice from others who have been there before, find those who will celebrate milestones with them when they don’t fit the expected timeline. Milestones which your average person wouldn’t even know about.

nina openly says she feels judgment towards able bodied parents, and just seems like she has a bee in her bonnet. Is she just trying to find another niche? Trying to push out a “new way of looking at things” note at the end of her stories she slipped in her PayPal and mentioned she is going to be doing her “first payed advert” so please support me blah blah blah.

as another account with a large following this can also be throwing unwanted judgment to the SEN community, whilst already facing the shit show Katie has created.

99% of us are just looking for others who can be a friend in an already lonely new world.

This must cause issues with the carers. In the few hours of hospice care I have the carers have to follow the prescribed meds and feeds regimes unless there is good reason, eg stomach bug. I wouldn't be allowed to say "oh skip that med I'm sure its not necessary" or "give her two feeds in one go to make it easier".
Something about that post just doesn't add up. "the first few days we had no vomits" - really? when was that then, as he would have been starved for the general anaesthetic so it can't have been that recent. And she didn't mention it at the time which would be unlike her. The meds take a few days to wear off too so that is probably why it didn't seem to make a difference at first. She's a nurse so she knows that.
The cats playing around the tube is really stressing me out. Theres no need for it to be dangling down like that, no wonder his site is sore. As an aside, a problematic stoma gives you points towards your continuing care score so she does have something to gain from it being not well looked after.
I just cannot as a mother understand why she would allow something to cause him pain or upset. If his site is red and angry looking obvs it’s going to cause him pain. It will sting and cause him
Itching and discomfort eventually leading to a fever if it gets infected.

I cannot understand her thought process which makes me
Continue to believe she wants him unwell to bring her attention. She wants him to need more attention and medical
Care and reading the posts from others and Sen mums it makes sense as she never ever praises his progress.

I feel a dick for not noticing it all before and now I can’t I see it

I don't understand why she's so busy. He's at school all day, no school run, then she has carers when he's home and at weekends. She's got time for personal training, running, grooming, Instagram stories, tinder, insta reels... but the narrative is that she's overwhelmed, stressed, not sleeping, no time to eat, no time to think. So we must support her ads because otherwise it's rip to her and j. I'd have More respect for her if she just said I love the money and free things so pls help my ads.

She works two days a week and has only done so for about 6 weeks so far. She has carers for 60 hours a week so she definitely gets days off.
She has management now and is doing ads that are in no way related to being a SEN parent, surely admin should allow a thread to flow on here?
She has spent more on hotel rooms in the past month than most nurses could afford in several years!

I like Kaytee and I think she has a difficult time especially with potentially losing the carers, it’s blatantly obvious that they’re needed. What I don’t get, is how she can afford to stay in hotels all the time, and how she can afford the shard. I know she’s started working, but if I was her, I’d be saving every penny in case the carers were taken away. She can’t manage without them, and she shouldn’t have too. I get she needs a break, we all do, but the Shard in particular is an excessive spend when you are already struggling financially.
The gofundme for her son raised over £100,000, there is the answer to the lifestyle!

The one started by Susie Verrill and Rosie Ramsey raised £18,408. There was another in Feb this year that raised £8,642 and there have been a couple others too.

£23,972 was raised in August 2019
In total it was over £100,000!
