In 2020 Shawn confirmed on Twitter she worked at Alton Towers. Definitely not a ride op, something behind the scenes. The person in the tweet said it was maintenance

He got done first. He posted on insta when he got the jab which was really early and got slated for it. She commented she hadnt had hers yet.
My theory is that he signed up to that thing where he could get any jabs going spare at the end of the day.
I believe he may have said at one point that he has asthma which is why he got it fairly early on? My friend has it and she got contacted early to get the jab as they had some left over.

I've got a strong suspicion that the move to full time might not have been Charlotte's choice. The way that they've talked about Alton Towers since the trip to Florida (even in non Alton Towers vlogs) has been extremely negative. It feels like she may have got the sack from AT or at least not left on the best terms.
What has he been saying about Alton Towers? Not going to do himself any favours if he is talking negatively about them. If Merlin decide to hire their own media vlogger team and ban everyone else, he won't be up for the job will he?
The entire Halloween vlog was saying how the performers were great but the park have let themselves down with the event.

They have to be fair, it’s a valid criticism. The mazes are the same stale ones they’ve been doing for years and that new ‘audio experience’ is a joke. Lots of people have been saying the same.
It’s a good thing he doesn’t only say positive things about every park he visits, shows he’s being honest in what he thinks. I’d rather that than a vlogger who pretends every park is amazing and perfect. I think assuming Charlotte left AT on bad terms is a bit of a leap. Shawn’s always been critical at times.
