House prices are lower across Scotland as a whole vs. down south, yet sadly the high street is dying across the whole of the UK - not just Scotland or one particular high street. I do know there's a lot of small businesses thriving in the area which is great to see locals support.Well if the house prices struggle there’s no shops restaurants or bars as the high street has suffered....
My opinion as someone who lives there if you don’t think so fair enough x
If you are local, you'll know the area has a lot to offer - 30 minutes south, west or east and you have one of the most historic and beautiful cities in the UK, stunning old fishing villages or amazing national parks.
Just like every region, it has its less desirable areas but doesn't make it "not a very nice place to live" x
