I just had my 4th knee surgery in 7 years on Jan 5 here in Orlando. My wife was able to come in and wait while I was in surgery. In fact after I was in pre-op and prepped, they brought her back to my bedside to be with me prior to my surgery. This was all done at the Orlando Health Hospital downtown. Not sure if all hospitals allow this, but this one did.

Hernias are no joke and if he has 2 tears, he will get 2 micro screens embedded in the abdominal wall to “shore” that tear/weakness up. He will not be able to do the things he does for his son until well after the recovery period. A friend of mine didn’t do everything he was supposed to and re-tore the area and had to have another surgery with a stiffer mesh. Could be bad if he doesn’t heal well or doesn’t listen to his doctor for recovery exercises.

Hernia surgery is not fun to recover from. I have to have it this year. Mine aren’t at risk of strangulation so I’ve gotten bumped for covid reasons. Not looking forward to it. My sister in law had hers repaired last year, didn’t follow her recovery plan partially due to being a mom of 3 small kids and her husband thinking helping out it beneath him. So she had it again, it was much worse the second time around and her body is prone to bad adhesions so she had to follow a stricter protocol with PT.
I really hope his recovery is smooth and without complications. For a minor surgery, it certainly has many ways to go wrong. I guess the nanny being there is a very good thing so that he can recover properly and that they recognized that Jenn isn’t fully capable. Know thyself, I guess.

He was kinda joking about aging and falling apart but I do hope he realises his lifestyle is affecting him. There is genuinely no need for him to go out and try every new food item in the park. Totally. All freelancers or consultants need to plan for unexpected downtime. These bozos fly by the seat of their pants all the time.

I agree and think he knew something like this would be coming up. Another reason they should have a backup plan for videos besides Ginn doing terrible home vlogs while he recovers. At least they have Bojo Poppins to help out. This is going to be a mess and we are either getting horrible home vlogs or a lot of days of no uploads.

I keep saying to myself that they seriously can't be this clueless, but it is time for me to face reality. I know nothing about what they do, but even I have several ideas how they could stretch 3 videos out of a day of filming in the parks or local places. They might not be the greatest videos, but definitely on equal footing on better than the crap that they have been putting out lately.

Another thing I noticed is the casual way Jenn says “I love you” without any emotion. Just wow. Also she is nervous for the surgery. No Jenn you are just afraid to be lonely. Also funny how the surgery is all about her…

Yeah, she isn’t nervous about Tim’s health. She is nervous about how this is going to affect her sleeping in and having things done for her and being chauffeured around.

Yeah I mean I thought the nanny thing was kind of weird to begin with but hey if she's teaching your kid during the day and/or watching him on daytime outings to parks and zoos, sure blow your money and knock yourself out. Having her accompany you to an airbnb stay less than 30 miles from your house for dinner and a house tour...just really strange. The only thing I can theorize is (and someone mentioning 'where does she sit in the Tesla' made me think of this) maybe in addition to her being a full-time at-home teacher/nanny, part of the requirement is that she also have a vehicle and accompany them in case Tim needs to do something solo and she would be there for Jenn and the kid in case of emergency?

It has to be so awkward for the nanny when __________​

I've tried numerous times to fill it in and post, but what I'm thinking is just too much to even think about. I'd love to hear other people's takes, and maybe one will be close to what I want to say but can't.

I think the whole thing is awkward. I can't imagine having another person around the whole time. I maybe get having a Nanny if you both have to work full time. They don't. Tim maybe if he put some effort into research and planning, then being out filming and adds in editing. Jenn definitely not on the editing and she goes out to film by choice. She doesn't need to be there, they'd earn as much if not more. I guess I don't understand why THEY think they need a full time Nanny coming to dinner, staying overnight etc it must be awkward as hell. How do you fully relax? How do they decide who does what when J$ needs something or gets out of bed in the night. How long before Nanny Lynne is the person he turns too most because he knows she'll fulfill his needs and how will Jenn feel? Got to be odd for their relationship too having someone else around so much. Although from what many of you have said, they're enjoying their alone park time.

He probably is improving. Little kids minds are like sponges.
All it takes to teach is a touch of patients and unselfishness. Do something with them, not just treat them like props and pets and talk with them vs at them.

Tim and Jenn would have had him sitting in a box waiting for camera time daily if they had it their way.

Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so sorry for your loss and your diagnosis. I hope that you are doing well now?? I cannot imagine losing my mom at such a young age, but like you said…it made you aware and more present for your children.

I’m not excusing anyone.

My point is they’ve been in this downward spiral for awhile and I’m wondering if any of that is a factor.

Whether someone is an asshole or not is besides the point. Some people deal with trauma okay and some are completely fucked up by it. They’ve never been the type to address mental health issues or compulsions, so it wouldn’t surprise me if her mother’s death is something that affected them negatively and they just pushed those feelings down.

I hope when they went to Wine Bar George and they sat outside then wanted to sit inside, then took their $$$ tomahawk steak to go, some other family bitched about them being difficult. I wonder why she felt the need to mention some "difficult" family behind them at BFF Richard Blais's restaurant (I bet what made them difficult is that Ginn overheard them saying something like "Johnny has a shellfish allergy"). Or she must have stared at them like she did @saraaaah90 at Universal wondering how they managed to put themselves together without wearing a Gucci Mickey sweater or torn jeans and sneakers and the family was like, "um, excuse you?"

If I was paying a lot of money to eat somewhere nice and saw some trainwreck vloggers right next to me I would be so pissed off. I feel like you can ask to be seated elsewhere in that case. They didn't ask to be in your video, and I would raise hell if I appeared in the background and they were talking shit about me. What is wrong with them?
