I think even the videos where they say--This video is sponsored by Aura Frames or Butcherbox--don't even have the sponsored tags on it. They've never been consisted with disclosing these things properly since the beginning, I don't know how it hasn't caught up to them by this point.

Like "Thanks for having us out" I could say that to Walmart when I go shopping there today and it mean absolutely nothing.

I'll have to find a couple of sponsored videos & see if the paid promotion tag shows up.

If they don't check the box indicating it's a sponsored video when they upload the video, they are violating YouTube's Terms of Service.

Why are they also ‘thanking’ DLP? Do DLP ask BOGV to invite people on their behalf or is it just the trackers being shady again?

I think stuff like that is them kissing Disney's a. Dim's been a "plus one" on a lot of special events & said, "thanks to Disney for inviting them out". He's hoping to get back into their good graces. So, he doesn't have to be a plus one. They were plus ones for a stan at the Epcot Moonlight Magic event in February, & he was a plus one for Nick when Dinosaur closed.

They are definitely still super stupid to let their YouTube channel slide. YouTube long-form videos are still paying really well. I think Ginn’s obsession with Instagram is going to bite her in the a.

I think the only reason the Costa Rica videos got posted was because she let Cringey edit them. But she won’t let anyone see a scrap of raw footage with herself in them (and their parenting), hence why those videos are always so delayed.

I wonder if this DLP stay is---do you know how when you sell Mary Kay or Avon (is that even a thing anymore? I'm old), you earn a trip for meeting your sales goals? I wonder if that's why we're seeing so many creators there right now. It's a BOG "reward" stay. Congrats--you sold X amount of vacations for us last year--enjoy this 2 night stay with park tickets at DLP on us. There's no event they are all there for. It's not a coincidence all these people are there at the exact same time.

I don't know how TA s work, but I'm wondering if BOGV had allocations at DLP they couldn't sell just now and this is how they're using them. Have never looked at their site so don't know if DLP is a new sell for them. There is no DVC accommodation at DLP but you can use points at the hotel (iirc).

Eventually you'll be able to get from DLP to UniUk quite quickly with a flight or Eurostar and the train up to Bedford. I'm not sure BOGV are savvy enough to be planting the seed of Euro vacations with their customers.

I was looking at their trips this year, and other than AMI and Tim's couple of trips to California, BOGV and it's sister companies have provided every single vacation/staycation/datecation they've gone on, I believe. Yes, they still have to provide their own airfare, but that's not a huge expense comparatively. Even the first class seats.

Even last year they provided a good chunk of their trips. Well, except for Tim's obsessive cruise goal. I'm sure that set them back a pretty penny--and why they've really cut back on cruising this year.

So not only does it look like they might be making a decent amount of money thru this relationship, they aren't spending much either. Probably explains why Jen can splurge on a LV purse.

Still seems odd to me that a travel agency would be making that much money off of them and their "sponsored" videos. Unless, once they get the Stans to contact them they try to talk them into the DVC rental portion instead? I'm sure there's some sort of shadiness going on--the Trackers wouldn't be involved otherwise.

Might be the reason for the passport but I don't know why they'd take them to Japan and not France. Japan seems even a worse place to take the kids on my opinion.

I’m guessing that BOG sells DLP and earns rewards for selling X number of $/vacations/nights- something like that. Either hotel nights or tickets or probably both. BOG passes those rewards along to the affiliates. They’re recognizing both DLP and BOG bc both companies gave a freebie to make the trip happen. Probably one company gave the tickets and another gave the stay? Maybe both were gifted to BOG from DLP?

Talking about Pokemon. This week, they released a new Pokemon in Pokemon Go that has different versions in different regions of the world. Yes it's a parrot with a pompadour. The white & yellow ones are avaiable everywhere. The Green one is in the Eastern Hemisphere & the Blue one is in the Western Hemisphere. The Prime Meridian is what divides the areas & it runs right through Paris. So, let's hope J$ has been bugging Dim into getting alot of them.

It could be the short duration of the DLP trip. Tim said they were only there 2 and a half days. With the time change/jet lag/militaristic napping and sleeping schedule there's no way they get anything done.

I assume they'd spend a longer time if the went to Japan. I believe Jen said getting back to Japan was her biggest goal in life, so I'd be surprised if they didn't end up back there at some point.

I also think no kids on this trip because Jen needed compensation for dealing with TWO KIDZ for a whole week.

Which is exactly why I said it seems like they are working exclusively for BOG at this point and not themselves. That's their primary source of income beyond the brand affiliate stuff and Patreon.

I poked around the BOG website a while ago and was specifically looking at the "Meet the Team" section to see if anyone stuck out to me, like a "famous" stan. I can't tell you how long ago that was, maybe 8 months ago? There seems to be significantly less team members than there was the last time I looked. I wonder if they are going this content creator route instead of adding on new agents?

I don't keep up with the tax code but I would think so given the fact if you win a car or trip you have to report that as income.
