I thought the Level 99 video was really funny. Dim’s over‑competitiveness really caught up with him. While he can beat Gin at physical challenges, he definitely struggles with puzzles, especially the timed ones. He’s so focused on finishing quickly that he doesn’t stop to figure out the actual solution. A lot of what they got wrong was on him.

I'm guessing when this opens at Disney Springs, they’ll go once to compare it to the original, and then probably not go again. Hopefully, part of the contract requires them to visit the Disney Springs location a few times. Just imagine them trying to squeeze in a Gideon’s cookie run, a quick Level 99 challenge, a stop at Wine Bar George, and then picking up J$ from school. They’d be rushing the whole time.

These types of places seem to be popping up everywhere. There’s another one called Puttshack, which is similar but with mini golf; touch pads, digital scoring, and interactive elements. I’ve been once. It’s fun, but I’d only go again during the week & if I had a lot of time to kill.

I'm sure he struggles with puzzles. He struggles with handwriting and spelling. He showed his trivia quiz answers and I swore it was $J's handwriting and spelling. He's a moron with 0 brain. He doesn't even have his self-congratulatory engineering brain. What an insult to true engineers from MIT and Rose-Hulman.

These titles also serve as a recap of the old thread.

In case you missed it: Tim’s mom passed away and the funeral took place right before Mother’s Day. Neither Tim or Jenn have acknowledged that she passed away and went on pretending she was still alive saying they were going to Tim’s parents house for Mother’s Day with a strong implication they were going to see Tim’s mom.

Tim and Jenn went to Virginia overnight without their kids to duck around at a #hosted escape room.

They went to Disneyland and took the kids but did duck all while they were there. Tim’s mom passed away while they were on this trip.

Tim is too good to pay for parking and said he would rather take his chances and risk a ticket or being towed rather than put money into a meter for half an hour of parking.

Jenn was spotted hauling around a $3000 Louis Vuitton bag.

These threads move too fast so I think recaps are helpful to have on the first page. I do miss the recaps that hcslacs was doing. They were thorough and funny.

Ok I was in the middle of typing this when the last thread was closed...whoops that's what I get for typing too slow!

They have to address it at some point and it's going to be handled poorly (continued).
Agreed but if GIN wouldn't have brought up Mrs B's health issues in the first place her death would not need to be acknowledged on the channel.

Now that I'm thinking about it Dim & Gin's trip with the kids to Build a Bear to make a bear for grandma, it was so J & O could say their final goodbye to grandma. I mean I could be wrong and J&O saw her after they took the bear to G-ma but somehow I think when they gave her the bear that was the last time they saw her

The only thing he's good at is having ridiculous luck. He just started posting his tit at the right time at the right place. He'd not be as lucky if he started today.

I hope they go back to DS and none of their previous scores translate over and none of the games are the same. I don't expect much longevity from that place in DS with all the other entertainment options near by. It really did remind me lot of the Starcruiser from the bits I watched but without the storyline and theming just sort of lame.

I think your probably right. I think they knew at Easter with the whole "don't get your hopes up" tantrum which makes the DL trip more egregious. If they knew her time was limited they for sure shouldn't have gone for what was a useless trip. Just reschedule it later on. Time is precious. And really like I mentioned in the earlier thread I think her health ailments were going on way back last year. She really was not present on that Wish cruise except at the meals while the father was with them a lot. I thought at the time it was because she couldn't stand Jenn but now I wonder if she was already sort of fragile then.

Speaking of the 3K LV bag there is a person Creddit that seems to think it's fake and pointing out the reasons for it being fake. Girl give it up it's Gin Tracker we're talking about that isn't a fake Louis it's real and Gin thinks it's a flex

My big problem with level 99 is the rush to contort your wrist so your wristband can tap the reader on the wall. It’s an unnatural movement to flex your wrist and jut it forward. Yes I’m a whiny witch and no I am not their target audience.

just imagine if nba players had to tap a reader after each hoop. The wait for the beep is too much. I have the same complaint for using tap to pay at the grocery store.

I saw that my response is even if it's a fake Jenn is 100% authentic bleep.

I think I up voted that comment
Like do I think she'd be dumb enough to think a fake bag is real and drop a lot of money on it thinking she got some of deal-maybe-but I don't think the dumb bleep would willingly buy a fake especially since I'm pretty sure that bag was her reward for letting Dim spend time with his grieving family on Mother's Day and eating ramen. I really doubt he really just got her earbuds. The past few years it has been joint cruises with the inlaws. If you look at the price of that bag it's pretty comparable to going on a solo cruise or hotel stay.

I did too!

That person who made that post is adamant Jenn bought a fake LV bag and doesn’t seem to understand that Tim and Jenn spend money like crazy. Jenn wears a $175 bathing suit and they paid cash for the Rivian not to mention hundreds of thousands of dollars spent in one year on the same Disney cruise they always do. Jenn is not going to buy a fake bag. She’s buying directly from LV or one of the authorized retailers. They clearly have more money than we think and don’t seem to be worried about money at all.

Previous thread recap if anyone's interested.

Bird Baby Shower: The Trackers head out to Audubon Society Birds of Prey Center where Tim uses his own little bird brain to Dimsplain everything, incorrectly. Jen tacked on some home vlog footage of her pathetic Mother’s Day where she prepares and then solitarily eats a bowl of packaged ramen she got at Ebisu. They had such a blast at Tim’s parents’ house they didn’t have time to take Jen out the hibachi dinner she wanted.

Breaking News. The thread went haywire when it was discovered that Tim’s mother passed away on April 30, while they were still in California. It was surprising because they had already loaded the vid that would’ve been shot the day after, at Disneyland, and they seemed as giddy and happy as always. Followed by a few more vids with a similar vibe, including the Mother’s Day vid where Jen misleads the audience into thinking they spent the day with Tim’s mom. They still have not publicly acknowledged her death.

Disney Springs: The show must go on and Tim merch-fondled his heart out.

Typhoon Lagoon: The death of a parent is often a time of reflection and results in a desire to spend every possible moment with your own children. So Tim and Jen naturally do the complete opposite and have the time of their lives at TL without the boys, but with Courtney. We all know Jen has lost some weight so she feels compelled to model her swimsuit as much as possible throughout the day. Sure, she’s shed some pounds but we are definitely not at this level.

Level 99: Spending the day at a water park wasn’t nearly enough time without the boys so the lovely couple decide they need to fly to Virginia for the night to be #hosted by the Level 99 company that is opening a location in Disney Springs this summer. This included economy seats on a flight to/from Washington Dulles, a room at an average Marriott and lunch at CPK. It’s discovered Jen has a newly acquired Louis Vuitton purse that retails for $3000 that she took on the trip. She must’ve assumed they’d be travelling in first class, staying at the Ritz and eating at the 801 Chophouse.

The Level 99 vid goes about as expected with a couple of still-overweight, unathletic dimwits struggling through most of the challenges. But they chalk this up as a test run and are going to spend every spare dime and minute they have once the DS location opens to be on top of the leaderboard.

Agree. I mean, the woman talks about shopping at Bloomingdales that is not a cheap store. And I'm sorry I really don't see what's the big deal if it is a fake. I really could care less about whether or not this bleep got duped or not.

I agree, part of me always wants to see their dreams crushed. That said, this concept is similar to places like Dave & Buster’s, Puttshack (the one I mentioned), or Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown (check out Yankee in the South for that one). They’re all tied to an RFID system where you get a card or band that works across locations. In this case, Level 99 uses a wristband, similar to MagicBands, and everything (money, points, etc.) is stored on a remote server.

Disney Springs will be their fourth location. I do agree that it’s a questionable choice given how much else there is to do in that area. I’m not convinced many people travel all the way to Orlando just to go there. When I visit WDW, I usually go to Disney Springs on the first day, but that’s mainly because I don’t have time for the parks yet, and I’m just passing the time before the next day. I’m typically not going there specifically for attractions like this.

Because of that, it seems more geared toward locals, but if that’s the case, it could really be located anywhere in Orlando. As I mentioned earlier, they will probably go when it first opens, but then not return. Maybe they’ll even lose their wristbands and use that as an excuse, but really, it’ll just be because they’re no longer the “top players.”
