I went for a walk to some shops nearby, without a coat! I repeat, without a coat! It's a miracle!

Welcome to Scotland💕 I was born here and have lived here my whole life and definitely do not explore as much as I should!
it’s so beautiful! It feels so alien to me (in a nice way) to have beautiful views almost everywhere you go! I’m really enjoying seeing all the snowdrops and daffodils blooming 🥰

I hung my washing out yesterday at like 9am and it was dry when I checked it at lunch time I was buzzing 🤣 got more out today. Taking advantage because it’s meant to rain again tomorrow….

Re easter eggs: I bought myself a little mini egg one and a caramel nibbles one 🤣 ate them already. Got a box of 20 treasure hunt eggs, just for my toddler, didn’t realise the box said 20 lol. Me and his dad will help him eat them. Got my Mum a galaxy ripple egg, my sister a mini egg one that the egg is the mini egg bar, only got them one cos I’m cooking them a roast on Easter Sunday. Got my boyfriend an extra special selection one from the Asda that is white chocolate, raspberry and marshmallow. Got my toddler a smarties dinosaur one. I’ve asked my bf for either the daim one which the egg is daim bar or the yorkie raisin & biscuit one 😋

Is anyone going struggling with the clocks going forward? It's nearly been a week but I still feel so tired all the time like I can't adjust
Yep. It’s really knocked me. It’s also really annoying as I’m an avid MAFS watcher and I’m having to eat my tea when I’m not feeling hungry to be sorted for the 7.30 start time. First world problems.
I’m really hoping that by me joining this thread Spring might decide to actually start Springing. I nearly put the heating back on last night I was frozen.

I love this thread, it makes me feel so happy!

Would anyone have any advice on how to start growing a rose bush in the garden? I’m thinking some kind of small trellis type thing (🤷🏻‍♀️) and then do I just plant the rose plants and encourage them to grow up the trellis or are there actual rose bushes I can buy and plant…? Complete novice here if you hadn’t guessed 😂

Absolutely loving this weather and the start of my gardening journey (newish home owner) however my water butt is empty and my outdoor tap is currently broken! My compost is so dry, I’m added in mulch to help retain some water but it’s still dry.

Can’t believe I’m actually wanting a dash of rain 😂

I think they are flowering early as I had bought it because it is usually in bloom for her birthday in April, hope it lasts until then 🤞

Going out for lunch with friends tomorrow. Do I go with short dress with tights, boots and leather jacket? Or maxi dress with trainers and denim jacket? Help! It’s that inbetween kind of weather where dressing is kinda tricky. I’m not really a big jeans fan, so would rather avoid those.
Maxi dress, trainers, and denim jacket !

Feeling better thank you (can't remember who wished me better) I'm gutted I lost two days of sun for the washing. Washing out now and I've cut my toenails so I can wear my flip flops. Going to have to shave to wear t shirt

Ooh is it time to prune roses? I always thought a bit later?
I've got climbing roses and I noticed a few stems were crossing over. With stormy weather in Jan/Feb the stems can rub and cause weak points, so I've thinned them out. And took off all old heads and rosehips, leaves with black spot. As they're climbers I don't cut them right back, just a bit of maintenance to keep them healthy.
