Struggling tbh. We kept having to fan her in the night. We’ve got melon and ice cream on stand by today because like you drinking can be an issue.

We’ve been up at 5 for the last few days and last night I decided not to do the evening walk because I knew she’d struggle even at 10pm- it was still 24/25 according to the car.

Fingers crossed it’s cooler tomorrow like it’s predicted to be.
Aww bless her, such a worry when your dog is poorly, I don't blame you missing the evening walk, mine usually mithers me to go out, but he didn't last night. Hopefully it's cooler for her tomorrow.

Cucumber and melon chopped up and frozen then added to water bowl. Or Furr Boost carton, either watered down or the whole carton with the frozen cucumber and melon in is Potato dogs fave. You could even freeze the Furr Boost into ice cubes too.

I blend fish with water for my dog and freeze it into a slow feeder bowl sometimes add bits into it as well, got some shrimp bits (not sure how to describe them they look like crispy onions but are shrimp) and treats I put in

Booked her field for 8 am today, she had a sniff around and a wee run but seemed too hot for a sprint, preferred the15 min walk afterwards in the trees, got some shopping & home before 10, it was about 22°c by then.
When it's this hot the pavements can hurt their paws, seen a few numpties walking dogs in the middle of the day

It was 40C here yesterday (with the humidex) and we had a festival in town so lots of noise, people, etc. in addition to the heat. I couldn't believe how many people had their dogs there.

Aww beautiful, is she ok?

I just need a quick rant, took my dog out earlier, some random said he's large for a collie!
It took me by surprise so I said nothing! But now I'm fuming!!
He's a big collie, has always been, we saw him at 5 weeks old and the owners nicknamed him chunk!
He has loads of exercise, he's never been food orientated, (apart from cheese!)
Why are some folks so judgy?

That’s so rude! How dare they? I hate it when people judge dogs. They come in all shapes and sizes, just like people. You know your dog best ❤. Big hugs for Maiddog.

She’s great thank you, Number 1 was away at the beginning of the week so she’s been a bit stressed but all good now the family is back together.

Paw's fine now, she's being a wee madam lately, not eating her food unless it has one of her treats in it, stuff like that.
Got a salmon fillet the other day & wolfed it down :D
Lol, our dogs know how to play us!!
In all the years I've had dogs, I've never really thought about fish in their food, it's always been chicken and veggies based! Might have to try mine on some ( he does like abit of my tuna mayo sarney!, not much mind, I'll be accused of over feeding him !!)

Blimey,am still annoyed about what was said about our dog yesterday! Anyways me and fatty have had a good walk today, and I'm lucky, local farmer lets me use a field so he's had loads of ball play! Better not spoil him on Wednesday, his birthday!!

I just wanted to share a picture of the newest addition to the pack. Her name is Yuki and she's a Formosan Mountain Dog rescued from Taiwan. She's just 10 months old and still very much a puppy! (I'm already exhausted ...)

Her broken toe just hasn't healed, even after a couple of months it was very swollen this week.
Vet checked her lymph nodes, thankfully doesn't seem to be cancerous.
