She is still a nightmare destroyer of curtains, but seems to understand No now and climbs back down. But I have given up on them, they have well and truly been kittened.You've got a Meerkat!!
Mine is starting to understand no now too thankfully, if I catch her she's straight back down and she only really does it when she's zooming around and she forgets she's not allowed too.
Still debating about letting her outside, maybe wait until the spring as it's colder and raining now. Typical Scotland.
It actually might be a good idea to let her out now, if the qeathers not good she won't stay out long so it's a good "warm up". In summer she may well stay out all night like mine do
Another tip, at first let her out before feeding her so she wants to come in for dinner/lunch whatever. I also always reward mine when they come back in with treatsThat's a good point actually, was planning on letting her out gradually in my stair and then letting her out for small bouts around her dinner time. She's very confident but very food oriented also
We are doing the same, waiting until new year. Will get her spayed next month and order a harness. There is a lady I know that does the best custom made ones called Butterfly cat jackets. Each one is made to order so it takes a few weeks but they are the most secure jacket I’ve ever had. I found her via a cat charity I fostered for.

My opinion with ours is that if she gets a taste for outside she might not want to stay in when it’s firework season, which these days lasts from mid October until new year. They could so easily get spooked. So I’ll leave until mid Jan and start the harness intros then. Will also get a gps tracker for the first 12 months, which is what we did with all of our others.
She’s chilling now with her big bro.

I agree, Nala is wanting to go out more at night this week! He has prob gone back to his spot from last time.
