Sorry again to be dramatic, my little cat has again gone walkabout. Obviously last time he came back after 3 days but still I'm always nervous. I'm sharing this with you guys as cat people are the only ones who understand. ❤

"Keeper or owner" probably are better replaced by assistants or servants to 🤣
You should look at getting a GPS. Tractive is good x

Hubby was away last night, so I had company (and not a lot of sleep 😴😴😴😴).

large boy Ginge is not making work easy for me. Also, are all gingers large? 😂

Ours is a right chonk, and we measure his food!

Yes 😅
Our ginger needs to lose some weight, we were told at his consultation about his teeth.

Also got our estimate through for that and it's going to cost us £600. Not as bad as I thought!
Wow, that’s a lot! Our insurance doesn’t cover dental and our old man might need some taking out.

large boy Ginge is now sending Teams messages 🤦‍♀️

My large ginge definitely needs to lose weight but it's so hard cause he's an indoor cat, a wee rescue that's scared of anyone and anything outwith the 4 walls 😞 I've tried him with every, and I do mean every, food going, including subscriptions cause I want him on a high meat, high protein brand, but nope he only wants Purina Gold Savoury Cake! At 4% meat it's obviously not filling him up and he's munching down his allocated biscuits by 2pm. So yes I cave and give him another wee tin.

Our Ginge is scared of the outside too. We’ve tried many times but he just freaks out.

Ours have a 70% meat grain free dry and a tin of canagan which isn’t cheap but really good quality and they all adore it. We measure large boys food, but the problem is kitten and old man are grazers so even though we try to stop him he gets theirs too. He’s obsessed with the kitten dry food which is higher in calories. I give up!!

I got him canagan from zooplus and wouldn't touch it. I had very mild success with blink, chicken only, but it lasted 3 days and he was over it lol. Such a rascal!

My old cat was like this, petrified of everything and would only eat Sheba and dry food. He was so fussy and I tried to shed some pounds of him but it was impossible. He wouldn't eat diet food or high meat and it was so annoying! He wouldn't eat human food either... No ham or chicken. My new kitten though, holy hell she will eat anything!! Not sure if it's a female thing because she could eat me out of house and home sometimes!

Does anyone else get a bit paranoid when their usually aloof kitty decides to stick to your side like glue? I’m thinking is there something wrong with me that you’re trying to tell me, or something wrong with you 🤣 I am loving the sudden neediness to be with me but usually it’s because I’m ill!

Not wishing to alarm you but the night before my OH had his heart attack, our torti Merry spent all night lying on him and tapping his face, trying to kiss him and getting him to stroke her. 4 hours later he was in surgery having stents inserted into his blocked arteries. She'd never behaved like this before! Her ginger brother, Lord Loki of Scoffalot, all 6kg, took absolutely no notice, I figure he thought i, as the spare human, would still feed him!!!!

Hope he is ok now.

But also, another large ginge!

I recently fostered a Ginge boy for a local rescue. Poor lad was skin and bone when he came to me, but was a right large git he was adopted 3 months later. I think the ginger gene isn’t just crazy cats, it’s big solid boys! (Hmm, that sounds a bit rude 😂).
