At least she admits that a BQ has been the goal for several years…
It has you’re right. But we all know that every year she doesn’t train, put the work in and go after it. She was meant to run Valencia and not a word about it after she said months ago she was running it. Same tit different year

Yes totally agree! Also her account is all over the place. Life is hard, baby is hard, running is hard, PR trips abroad. Another pair of #gifted shoes this time saucony from runners need. It seems a little desperate to be relevant. Recently tons of question boxes and options to pick, clearly desperately trying to drive engagement.

x 100%
Wonder if she’s throwing money away again by paying for individual coaching with a US online coach, when she would be better off just joining a running club and doing basic training 3/4 times per week

Her reel today - that run is EXACTLY what she does! She does at least admit it, but even so, she should be embarrassed by the fact that whenever she films herself running she does that stupid tip-toe thing instead of an actual normal run, in an attempt to make herself look better/faster than the very very average runner that she is 🤷‍♀️🙄

Well “sharing the reality” is a bit of a joke. Her “reality” is very different from most people’s who have an ordinary full time job and a family and a million other commitments without the financial means to afford support…

She has no idea how unrelatable she is. Scheduling creche time so you can workout while your partner is at work isn't an option for most people...

There’s also nothing wrong with priorities changing. You don’t have to stop being you, it’s just being realistic.

She is a very defensive woman isn't she. I also wouldn't be surprised if she sent herself that message to share and drum up some engagement and "are you ok hun" messages!

My problem is this: clearly having children will change your whole life. I have no problem with mums choosing to have “me time”. It’s healthy also for the child to see that mum is active etc. but it strikes me as completely delusional to think you can train and live your life in the same way you did before you had a child.

She’s such a tit. Her issue is that it’s not just the rolling BQ goal, it’s that she wants to travel and be an influencer with what seems to be loads of child free travel, study a new degree, reluctantly work her NHS job and still carve out a hefty wedge of “me” time for her utterly pointless BQ goal.

It’s so good for kids to have an active mum with a life of their own but she wants to carry on as if she doesn’t have a kid. As someone who had fertility issues I don’t understand, especially as we are (both) likely to have an only & so I only get to do this stage once!

She never trained enough before having a child to get the desperately sought after BQ (which doesn’t really mean that much outside the USA) - so how does she expect to achieve it whilst also. now having a child?

She really winds me up, especially because I consciously made the decision not to have kids as I enjoy the lifestyle that I have. There isn’t an option to have it both ways. I don’t think being a mum defines you as a person, but your priorities change because they have to. I left my cats alone last month to go on holiday and missed them terribly. I felt more guilty than Bean does about leaving her child! I feel sad for her that she obviously hasn’t bonded with Bertie. He just seems to be an inconvenience to her lifestyle. Also, doesn't she have a home gym?!

Couldn’t agree more with you. Nailed it.

So she's going out for two evening runs in a row while her husband is out of town? And she's complaining about not having enough childcare? 😂

I have a child around Bertie's age. My running has certainly changed in the past year. I still managed to train for and (PR) a marathon, but that meant very early mornings for me (before husband/kids woke up). Obviously, that's not as much fun as getting a sitter so I can stay in a Westin to run a 5k or fly across the Atlantic to cheer people running. She continues to surprise me with how out of touch she is.

I gave up running completely until my youngest was 6. I couldn’t fit it in at all! Sometimes you just have to let it take a back seat - it’s not worth getting stressed about, unless you’re some kind of pro athlete. Her 10 min miles can wait 🙄🙄🙄

Didn't she refurb it about 18 months ago as well and it's kitted out with Peloton kit? They're not cheap from what I've seen!!
