She’s from an incredibly wealthy background - went to boarding school. House was probably paid by family money, as was surrogacy.

One of the reasons she is so unrelatable and not aspirational at all.

- very mediocre runner
- doesn’t work hard at training
- doesn’t have many demands on her time (barely works and family look after kids)
-zero money issues

Doesn’t fit into the mummy runner market either cos she doesn’t look after her child much and hardly trains.

When you have the likes of “runner of 4” and lilliefitness (no children but smashing the training), charlie is totally irrelevant.

Off to watch the you tube video now

The YouTube video will just cement all of what you have just said 🤣 I can’t even hate watch her, her drony flat nasal voice is enough to bore me into paralysis. And yeah, I just don’t care what she thinks or does and I’m a much better runner than her with a full time job, a small house. 2 kids and I’m older than her too - so she offers me nothing 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It totally did! too lazy to train to run it and too crap a runner to qualify, more money than sense! hilarious to go all the way to boston to be an influencer but not actually do the race, what a total numpty! the barbies must think she is so lazy and a total hanger on. how did she explain to everyone she met all wkd that she was just there to be an influencer ! the whole video was so cringey

She’s a joke.

I see in her story today she labelled her kid “clingy”. Maybe Charlie just maybe, he is craving your attention because you’ve swanned off all over the globe in recent weeks and wants you to spend some time with him. But no you make it all about how he’s an inconvenience and an issue with your desperate need to try and be relevant in todays social media world. Maybe for once in your life think of him rather than hauling him and you cousin for free childcare and s-end some bloody time with him ffs

The a day in the life reel is funny. She doesn’t actually us anything about what she did that day other than that she needs to juggle influencer events and parenting. I don’t know what parents with full time jobs do. They don’t have anything going on mornings, evenings or weekends.

I just saw this! It's an awful reel and dull AF! Is she really serious with her content right now or is she just trolling everyone?? 😂

I’m going to be watching for where they move to like a hawk. Those treadmills are massive (plus her peloton and all the gifted buggies and other gym stuff). She’s not going to be fitting all that in a normal garage is she?

I wouldn't be surprised if they moved to Henley.

Anndddddd she’s off to Sydney *gifted

I do wish she’d stop banging on about being one of the youngest under 30 to run all six star marathons. One, it involves a huge amount of financial privilege to afford the long haul travel, and two, it only happened because she was gifted a place to Boston.

100% !!

I don’t think the 6 star finisher is anything special to aspire to, it’s just a commercial gimmick!

To me, it is simply a sign of financial privilege. I don’t deny you need to be a good runner to get a qualifying time, but you still need to be able to afford the place, flights, accommodation etc. Or you can buy your place through an organisation. All of it requires a lot of money and excludes many who are more than capable but don’t have the money or time to flit around the world to get a special medal! (I say this as someone who gets the times, and could afford it if I saved a bit, but won’t because I don’t like it being about wealth and exclusion).

She also says the thing she loves about majors is that it isn't about pace. Well, Boston is!

People congratulating her in her achievement for Sydney.. like what achievement? It's simply about having the money. 🙄

Doing the world majors is as impressive as doing any other 7 marathons. To brag like it's something special is insufferable. It's about financial privilege and the ability to willfully ignore the climate impacts of international travel for something like this - especially for people like charlie who has traveled more internationally in the last year than most people will in their lives.

There are some comments calling her out which she is trying to justify.

We all know her training will fall flat because she can’t be arsed so she’ll mooch round. For what? Another bleeping medal?

Most people under 30 these days are still living with parents saving every penny for a house, not galavanting round the world running marathons at £150 a pop. She’s absolutely blinded by her privilege.

I’m not sure, she keeps going on about being one of the few women under 30 to get the 6 star. When did she complete it?

I just think it’s completely tone deaf. I grew up in a different generation (gen x) and my 20s were still hard. Working, saving etc. Yes, I did races towards the end of them but they were rare because we simply couldn’t afford to and they local. Racing in NYC, Tokyo and Chicago? duck no.
