I thought it all looked a bit shambolic! When Edward & Sophie arrived there was confusion as to who was sitting where & people who we’re already seated having to move from their seats. There were so many pics in the press of the family attending rehearsals, they obviously paid off 😬 The balcony was also a mess. Idk it just seemed so lacklustre, I was disappointed.
I don't know why it was so badly planned, being probably the most photographed moment of the year. Surely they had someone to say "you stand here" and "you stand there". Then again, this involves folks who communicate through their assistants.

It’s funny because I didn’t even know she was papped until you said. You should try not reading or clicking on pap stories and providing the attention you claim she craves.

Like, it’s not hard. People who hate Meghan always know every step she takes, because they click every story, incentivising paps to go out and get shots of her on important royal days. She doesn’t need to call back grid on days like this, they’ll make the trip on their own because people like you create demand for the images because you want to get mad at her.
You are on a celebrity gossip forum getting offended by someone mildly gossiping about a celebrity. Get some air.

Everyone knows how pap strolls work, don't act like this wasn't one.

I have to say, I don't love when people say Meghan could have modernised the royal family due to her ethnicity. The implication that someone's ethnicity should be used as a sales pitch for a family whose power and money is reliant on a tiered class system is a bit... icky.

Surely modernisation of the royals should be based on meaningful change, not the skin colour of someone who married into the family's privilege.

I don’t have much problem with Camilla but my opinion has gone down a bit with her not attending the reception last night, not going to the Mall yesterday and with her looking so bored today.
She didn't look bored, she looked very nervous and also terrified that the crowns were going to fall of her head. Charles looked terrified of that as well. I would also assume that there were specific reasons that she didn't attend the reception and walk about - she is known to have back problems?

Why would two people, who are paranoid about security, travelling in a dedicated security vehicle with tinted windows, from which they cannot be seen, change into a standard New York cab for everyone to see them and photograph them?

When they visited South Africa they flew over a fleet of Range Rovers to travel in, but in the good ole we-are-allowed-to-bear-arms USA, they happily hop into a cab - Harold filming on his phone to get 'evidence' of a photog for his RAVEK court case.

I'm not greatly surprised that Party Pieces was perhaps struggling, it's one of those businesses that was clearly a great idea at the time, filled a gap in the market and went on to be relatively successful but as with so many now, multiple others have come along, oversaturated the market and likely offered a cheaper price.

I did see a tweet that said they couldn't believe William hadn't bailed them out 😂 😂 Could you imagine the uproar if he did, likely the same person would have had something to say about it

I really don't begrudge the Middletons, they've worked hard to build a business (yes OK they had money to start with but that doesn't mean they didn't have to put the work in) and seem to have raised 3 relatively well-rounded, good kids. I've never greatly bought into the idea that Carole sent Kate chasing after Wills (always the Mother who gets the blame for that isn't it?) and think she probably just wanted to make sure her kids had the very best chances in life and made sure they were in the right schools, socialising in the right circles etc.

It's nice that they all seem to live quite close together (I think), I think having the Middletons around is one of the best things that could have happened to both William and George as future Kings

Binge watching the inevitable deluge of Royal documentaries that are trending right now. As much as Princess Margaret was lauded for her beauty I actually think Elizabeth was the beauty of the two back in the day. Mostly from the happiness that radiated from her as a new bride and new mother. This picture in particular is lovely.

Lip readers for news seem all about more entertainment and making shit up more than anything. He looked moved and also very tired and cautious of not having the crown fall off! They all got there early, and the Waleses got there a bit late, so the procession was a mess - but compared to 1953 imo the whole thing looked a mess.

He looked exhausted. And I have heaps of sympathy for him re: the pen - he was grieving, tired, he's old, was going from place to place, and we know he hardly ever sleeps. People act like he had some shouting temper tantrum or something.

100% staged. He's demanding his Met Police 24/7/365 anywhere he is in the world. A 2 hour car chase in NYC just wouldn't happen. They were photographed getting into taxis, not their security cars, after the event. Maybe Harry didn't like how the cabbies were driving or that people took pictures of them leaving.

The Oedipus complex is so big even Freud wouldn't deal with this.

Whatever anyone thinks, no other country can put on an event and attract over a billion viewers. Why stop all this and cease doing one thing we excel in.

From the photos I’ve seen, none are wearing seatbelts. After what happened to his mother I’m gobsmacked.
I fear this will not end well for Harry. 😕

Outsch. While I absolutely can believe they were followed from point a to point b, with paparazzi on bikes getting close to the car at red lights, that’s not exactly a “chase”. Not saying it’s ok either. By exaggerating they once again shot themselves in the foot.
It’s quite sad, that their reputation is so damaged people will instantly assume you an over dramatic or straight up lying.
If there was the attempt to cash in on that situation for the RAVEC case, I think this might backfire. It would have been smarter to document those situations (and I can see it happen once in a while) and present this in court. But now, they look like trying to manipulate and strong-arm yet another institution.

Harry wants nothing to do with the royals, but he still wants royal privileges not offered to non working royals.

What he really aims to get by suing Ravec, is International Protected Person status. This is his endgame. That would mean that any country he goes to/lives in, would need pay for his personal security.

Personal security is hugely expensive, especially for non royals who want to globe trot and play at being royal. Big security, motorcades and car chases, also makes one look ever so important.

I could well believe that Harry, or his wife more likely, deliberately tipped off every possible pap known to man, to deliberately recreate a Diana car chase situation, in order to win that court case.

The timing of this is a little too convenient to be pure coincidence. No one in the US cares that much about H&M. His mother also used to call paps herself, when it suited her. That didn't end very well for her.

For a Woman of Vision she is remarkably myopic.

Is it the Harkle Anniversary tomorrow or thereabouts?Let us hope the Catastrophised Duo recover from their ordeal enough to acknowledge the congratulations flooding in from around the globe.
Their anniversary isn’t tomorrow. They got married three days before the big event in Windsor 😂

I will say, regardless of any opinions I have on this coronation and the religious basis of the ceremony in general, I'm glad the UK have maintained the coronation. Being able to watch a ceremony that dates back more than a thousand years, and see how it gets modified to fit with the passage of time is very much still valuable to me.

I don't mind King Charles and Camilla , but was anyone else watching it mainly to see the Prince and Princess of Wales and their gorgeous family . Charles does not look the picture of health either, it wouldn't surprise me if we doing another coronation in a couple years.
