Just awaiting protocol from the above to pass over to my staff. Ive already had three draft emails to send out. Not as many people at the Palace as I thought there would be.
I imagine that may increase now the official notice has been placed on the railings.

Maybe a chemo tap ?
I wouldn't have thought so, they wouldn't put chemo through a line in your hand... it's been bloods taken or a line put in for fluids.... regardless it's sad, and I feel terrible for even speculating.

I feel the same way. I think they are a better solution than President Blair or Cameron!
I've never been a Royalist, but I have always admired and respected the Queen. She was an exemplary woman and always appeared with dignity and grace. She also grafted until the very end. We're lucky to have had her as a female role model representing our Monarchy.

I feel sad that she's passed away. She's like a grandmother that we never met but it was always comforting to know she's there.

I really hope now the Daily Mail will address Catherine correctly now.
No more Kate Middleton, they have got away with that for years.
Highly disrespectful.
Seems unlikely. There's an article on there currently with the headline:

Kate Middleton becomes the first Princess of Wales since Diana

At least a year I read
Wow, I did not think it would be that long

very cold and unfeeling, clearly the speech was written for her and not well rehursed! The way she delivered the speech, finished with God save the King and turned round and went back into number 10. No recpectful pause, just a hasty retreat. She had clearly thrown a black dress on and not even looked in the mirror as the neckline was askew. No respect for the monarch who had granted her the right to govern and form a government a few days earlier. Totally disrespectful and not a good start to her new job!!
Yes definitely not a great start.

I prefer William to Charles, I bet a lot of people do, but first-born has taken the throne since the very beginning and I don't see why it should change now.
Yes I'd prefer it to be Charles too! But obviously yes as you say things won't just change now.

I’d normally be buzzing if so But I’m on maternity, not very thoughtful of her to wait 🤣
I'm on mat leave too and get an extra days holiday added to my balance for any bank holidays. Hoping to take a month's holiday before I have to go back to have a cash boost

Yes I work for the local government. Some parts of my building is crucial (remained open all though out covid) but most of it isn't.
