Can anyone recommend a budget foundation which is good for acne prone skin? I’m currently using Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush flawless but don’t want to pay £40 for foundation anymore

I have really sparse, stubby bottom lashes (although to be fair my top lashes aren't that great) and really struggle with a mascara that actually defines and lengthens them. I'm forever looking for the holy grail of mascaras with no luck. Any suggestions?

Hi all, i’m after some help please! I don’t currently wear any make up but i’m going to a wedding soon and feel I should make a bit of effort! I thought I could go to somewhere like Boots/John Lewis etc to get advice and a make over, but there’s too many to choose from! I want something that i’d be able to replicate, with zero experience. Any recommendations on which brand to go for? Thanks!
Sculpted by Aimee an Irish Brand in Boots do a hydra tint which gives a lovely natural finish. They also have some palettes with blusher/bronzer/eyeshadow included which are easy to use and look good.. L'oreal,Rimmel and Elf great all round for high street - foundation, concealer, blusher, bronzer and mascaras. Charlotte Tilbury bit more expensive but can't go wrong. Aimee Connolly, Hannah Martin,Charlotte Bird,Cher Webb & Bryony Blake on Instagram are good at showing step by step looks for inspiration! Hope you get products you love and have a wonderful day.

Second this. I sometimes use it as a base for every day just with some concealer. Gives lovely coverage. I've been using it for about 4 years! xx
I started using it last year and it's amazing like you are lit from within! I've seen people posting on Instagram that elf have a dupe for it that's just as good but don't know as haven't tried it - might be a cheaper alternative for everyday and flawless for going out etc

Can anyone recommend a lip gloss that they really like? I’ve just bought what I thought was a lip gloss but is actually more a balm (Dior Addict Lip Glow) which is really nice but quite discreet- I was maybe wanting something a bit more obvious for a special event. If relevant, I am super pale skinned (to the extent that I am that pale I often look bordering on poorly…), would love to hear if anyone has a lipgloss they would swear by.
I love the Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lip gloss

London rent prices mean I can no longer afford good make-up. I'm looking for GOOD dupes for Estee Lauder Hydra Foundation and Iconic blush. I spent ages watching comparison videos yesterday and came to the conclusion that good dupes don't exist, but hoping some of you might know of some? TIA!

For mascara, try the heroine make long and curl or volume and curl. It doesn't budge at all (I've even cried in it and it didn't even flake) and it is very impactful. I use the lengthening one and it always makes my lashes look amazing. Just need a strong makeup remover at the end of the day! Also really like the benefit magnet mascara. For bottom lashes, innissfree do a particular bottom lash mascara with a particularly skinny wand for those tiny lashes which is great.

Late to this but I use Chanel eyeliner in Espresso. Lovely cool-toned coffee brown shade that doesn’t irritate my super sensitive eyes.

I loved Too Faced Better Than Sex (they do a waterproof one) until I tried Sweed’s Cloud mascara. It is water resistant but not waterproof, although I got something in my eye the other day and rinsed it and it was fine. It has a plastic wand and is honestly amazing. One coat and my lashes are super long but not clumpy.
Thank you. Will check it out.

Can anyone recommend a really good concealer? Iv got a little blemish that I can't get rid of and jt drives me insane. So I want quite a good concealer just for that area. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance x
I’m using Beauty Crop Vitamin Babe at the moment and it’s lovely - full coverage but isn’t cakey and blends well.
