That idiotic detective who was obsessed the Ripper being a Geordie is what annoyed me, he even told one of his victims off in a nasty way that she was wrong when she insisted that his accent was a Yorkshire one. Horrible man... and if he had stopped being so self important and over confident in his own limited abilities and vision the murderer could have been caught sooner and many lives could have been saved.
