Also who are these idiots who keep sending stuff? I can’t imagine it’s their young Ifam, well whoever they are they seriously need their heads testing.

I had to laugh when she said she has ordered 4 or 5 times more stock for the restock. Doesn't she realise the rush to buy her junk is over and nobody will buy any more? I think thats quite obvious from the boss baby and boss mama tops, nobody seems to have bought them. She didn't really think the colour scheme over mind you... Babies and mums really want to wear white don't they!

How will this work for kids channels? That annoying Ryan kid for one. Will they not make any money from thier videos?

No they won't, they will have to rely on sponsorships. We all know the inghams won't be getting any of those unless mary shortle is digging deep to sponsor every video, i doubt it though she has her creepy dolls hospital in her home to keep her busy.

The only businesses that seem to be on their side are mary snortle and the racoon fur one

What a tight cow filling the girls Christmas Eve boxes with gifted sweets whatever about accepting them but to regift them like that has really pissed me off. Half the kids Santa presents will probably be from ifam or gifted ffs!

WTF she has accepted gifted sweets from strangers for her children's Christmas eve box ? how does she know those sweets haven't been tampered with, I saw loads at Halloween talking about sweets given to kids that were tampered with, shes dumb as can be .

I have to say in terms of shoes, it may be different from kid to kid and school to school but when i was in high school no one cared what you wore on your feet, it was how your face and hair looked that all the girls really cared about.
Personally for me if my shoes were comfy thats all that mattered, i even used to thrift shoes to wear because some of them looked comfier than the shop alternatives

I agree. My daughters Isabelle’s age and her and her friends don’t wear designer school shoes, and since September brands and phones have been banned anyway.
I’ve always taught my daughter not to be shallow. Some of my most intelligent successful friends wouldn’t dream of spending their hard earned money on designer shoes for their growing kids and to me society has become so shallow and just full of consumerism.

There will be /is adverts on kids tube.. They are/will be no personalised ads ie YouTube will show kid appropriate adverts and they will no longer be able to collect data from minors Web searches to direct adverts directly at the child.. If the family sign up to YouTube Red the child sees no adverts but instead YouTube pays the channel from the funds of that I do believe. Money will/can still be made but family friendly channels will see a dip in income while all the rules and tweaks are being done. Its not evident yet on the level of decrease though. Of course many children don't watch via apps and are also signed up to these sites as adults... Google can only go by the information it is fed of a user.

You will still see family friendly videos off of kids tube but if your account states the user is under 13 the preset will be kids tube I believe.

I haven't written on here before but have enjoyed reading it for months. Lately, I haven't been minding the Ingham Family so much as I used to do, as I feel like they've tried to tone certain things down after the whole Chris scandal (although agree with so much of what people say on here.) Watched their vlog today and I just have such an issue with the way the accept freebies from fans. The majority of YouTubers will open a PO box but will insist that they only get sent cards, letters etc, as they don't need freebies! They have enough income coming in from their videos anyway without having to accept stuff from their fans. I understand the idea of giving and that some fans may want to send their own products from small businesses for the Inghams to promote and I agree with that, but young children and teenagers spending their pocket money (or their parents money) on LOL dolls for the girls and notebooks for Isabelle, despite the fact that we all know they will get absolutely showered by similar things in a month just really irritates me. Sarah needs to say on camera 'Please spend your money on yourself, our girls get enough.' After all, while Izzy's gift could've been bought in the pound shop, LOL dolls are honestly not cheap (especially for the age group of their fans) and it really makes me angry that they continue to encourage fans to send them expensive gifts. I think especially since they often give shoutouts to people who send them gifts their young impressionable fans may feel the only way to get 'noticed' is to spend their money on them and I just think this is so, so, so wrong. Really something Sarah and Chris need to think about.

Most youtubers I watch say ‘we only have a po box’ for letters but then greedily accept all the gifts that are sent. Sometimes expensive ones. Wouldn’t suprise me if Sarah keeps a lot aside so she can wrap them as Christmas gifts she’s that greedy. Wouldn’t suprise me one bit

no youtuber should have a P.O. Box. They are ALL on social media so fans can communicate with them that way. It’s bullshit that they do it to receive letters

There are two main issues for Family vloggers regarding these changes. Personally, I feel the Inghams are soon to be in serious wise

Firstly, having to admit they make contents for kids. I think the Inghams are really going to struggle here. Seeing the title and pic from last nights vlog, they clearly have no intention of ’pivoting‘ their content as they would have been advised by Youtube in September. If they fail to admit this, targeted ads will be removed from vlogs flagged by YouTube's. Potentially there are also many penalties, including further demonetisation, forcibly moved onto Youtube kids, and even legal issues with regulators

Secondly, most advertisers have a huge preference for targeted adverts and spend the majority of their ad funds using this model. The money pot on Youtube kids is apparently significantly smaller compared to regular Youtube. I’ve also read that this money won’t be issued like regular adsense, and that vloggers will have to do deals with the advertisers that make up the pot to get a share. Obviously, for the Inghams, this will be a huge issue, as most big advertisers won’t want to be associated with a channel that regular features a man nearing his 40s that acts and tries to look like a teenager, and has had articles in national newspapers about his predatory and disgusting behaviour
